Chapter 6

The week passed pretty quickly and Hermione and Draco spent each day as much as they could, but on Friday afternoon Dumbledore asked them to see him in his office about head stuff. When they arrived outside Dumbledore’s office they heard him call enter and walked in.

“sit down Draco and Hermione” Dumbledore said “I wanted to talk to you about having a Halloween dance, and a Christmas dance. And I know that you both have learned to dance ballroom dances, and I was wondering if I could get you two to open the Christmas dance with a tango if you would”

“I don’t think that should be a problem” Draco said and looked at Hermione who shook her head in agreement.

“that’s great” Dumbledore said and looked at the two teenagers who obviously cared for each other, the twinkle in his eyes grew bigger, and he knew he had to tell the two people that had agreed to do this with him, that everything was going according to plan.

When Hermione and Draco walked down to their common room they discussed how they were going to plan this dances and that they should begin to practice for the tango if they were to be ready for the ball in December, because the tango is the hardest dance that you’ll learn, and although you know how to dance it, it takes time to learn with a new partner.

They called all the prefects on a meeting to inform them about the Halloween dance and the Christmas dance, and asked if they had any ideas that they would share to the others. They had planned the whole Halloween ball that night, and it took a couple of hours to, but everyone left with a smile when the meeting was over. Hermione and Draco went to Draco’s room and they fell asleep instantly.

While the prefects had their meeting, Dumbledore and his two teachers were having a small conversation themselves, and like the prefects the teachers left with a smile, but Snape with a smirk.

The time passed pretty quickly and then the Halloween ball came up. Everyone were excited and had already decided on their costume. Hermione had already decided her costume, but didn’t tell Draco or anyone else, she wanted it to be a surprise, and because Hermione didn’t want to tell him her costume, he decided to do the same.

Hermione would go with Ron, and Draco with Pansy, but longing to be together. And they had decided to let everyone know that they were a couple at the Christmas dance, because that would be the perfect opportunity.

Draco and Pansy were in the great hall when Ron and Hermione and Harry and Ginny arrived at the dance.
Draco was dressed as the phantom of the opera, with the white mask and the cape and everything. Hermione on the other hand was dressed as a warrior princess, she wore a brown knee length dress that was open on the both sides of the leg, the top was made of leather and was decorated with gold, it was tied at the both sides if the top, and had a band that went behind her neck, she wore a high heel shoes, and her curls were falling freely from her head.

Everybody looked at her in awe, and couldn’t believe that this was the shy bookworm, Hermione Granger. Draco had opened his mouth in shock like most of the others, but it quickly turned to pride that she was his girl.

Draco knew he couldn’t dance with his girlfriend tonight, but was looking forward until they would be alone in their common room. then they could dance.

Hermione danced with one guy after another, and then it was time to announce the winners of the ball.

Dumbledore stood up and everyone looked at him. And he began to say

“welcome all to this fabulous Halloween dance that our heads and prefects did possible” everybody clapped and cheered. “now it is time for us to announce the winners of the costume competition. And the winners are………. Draco Malfoy who dressed as the phantom of the opera and Miss Hermione Granger who dressed as a warrior princess”
Everybody cheered and then Dumbledore raised his hand to let them be quiet.

“would the winners take the dance floor in a slow dance. When they have begun, everybody else are welcomed to join them” he said with the twinkle in his eyes brighter than it had been before.

Draco walked over to Hermione and asked for her hand which she put in his and they walked to the middle of the floor. Everybody were shocked but, thought that they were only doing this because Dumbledore had ordered them to do it. How everybody were wrong.

After the dance the prefects and Draco and Hermione cleaned everything before going to their common room. Draco and Hermione left when everybody else were gone, so they could walk together to their rooms. Draco’s hands were around Hermione’s waist and her hand was around his waist, and in his free hand he held her shoes because her feet felt hurt after the whole evening. They were so used to sleep next to each other that they didn’t want to sleep alone although they were leaking down they were that tiered. So they went to Hermione’s bed and fell asleep immediately.

The morning after was Saturday so they didn’t have to go out of bed unless they wanted to, so Draco, who had awoken before Hermione, decided to wake her up like she liked to wake up. He kissed her neck, on the place that he knew turned her on, and traced kisses down her neck and to her breasts. A smile was on Hermione’s lips. He took his wand and pointed it to her nightgown, and it disappeared of her and appeared on the floor next to her bed. He sucked her breasts lightly, and kissed down her tummy, and down to her sex. They fell asleep for two hours, and this time it was Hermione that woke up first. When the shower was over Hermione got dressed in a short red tanker top and a matching panties, and over that she put on a white shirt which was open over her breast so you could see a little of the top and a short black mini skirt, she putted a green ribbon in her hair so that it wouldn’t go to her face. Draco got dressed in a white shirt and black pants, so he was matching her looks. And the funny thing was that nobody would know that they did it on purpose, but think of it as a strange coincidence. And they left down to the great hall for breakfast and looked at each other with smirks on their faces, and walked to their house tables.

Hermione’s friends looked at her with surprise in their expressions.

“what” asked Hermione

“wow” Ginny said “whatever reasons you have to dress so nice, don’t stop it. You look awesome”

“thanks” Hermione answered with a smirk on her face and quickly glanced her eyes to the slytherin table and caught Draco’s eyes and her smirk grew wider.
“so who is this mystery man that we can’t meet?” Ginny asked.

“you’ll get to know who it is at the Christmas dance” Hermione said with a smile, thinking it wouldn’t be long until they didn’t have to hide their relationship any longer.

“I wish you would tell us. I don’t understand why it has to be such a secret” Harry said

“you’ll know why we had to do it once you get to know who he is” Hermione answered

After dinner she asked her friends to come with her to the library for an hour or two, and they joined her there to talk.

When Hermione saw Draco walk into the forbidden session, she excused herself and told her friends that she knew of a interesting book that was supposed to be in the forbidden session and said she would be back in a few moments, and they waited because the head students were the only one who were allowed to that part of the library.

When she got there she walked up to Draco’s back and hugged him from behind.

“hi there stranger” Hermione said with a smile.

“hello to you too” Draco said and turned around to kiss her lightly on her lips.

“I thought that you would go to visit your friends so that they wouldn’t be suspicious that you weren’t as much around as before” Hermione said

“I am, I just wanted to get one book, you know on how to change a book so we can write to each other without anyone noticing it” Draco said.

“and you found it?” Hermione asked enthusiastically

“yes. Here it is” he lifted the book up for her to see.

“fantastic. But I have to find a book on how to do wandless magic, because Harry and the others are waiting for me to come back with it” Hermione said

“I know of one” Draco said and turned away from Hermione and took the book out of the shelf.

“I’ll see you in our common room in a few hours” Hermione said and quickly placed a kiss on Draco’s lips and hurried out to her friends.

“I can’t wait” Draco whispered to him self.
