A/N I do not own Harry Potter or any of the characters. Please don't sue!
Hermione was in the hallway talking to Draco when it hit her, the thing she had been trying to tell herself was totally untrue. She had fallen in love with Draco Malfoy.
"No, I can't be," she whispered to herself at this realisation.
"Pardon me?" Draco asked as he paused in his sentence about Transfiguration.
"Sorry?" Hermione asked with a slight jump as she came out of her day dreaming state.
"I thought you said something," Draco queried with an upraised eyebrow.
"Nope didn't say anything," Hermione replied with her head down trying to hide her blushing.
"Oh ok, well we have Potions next, are you ready?" Draco asked.
Hermione nodded and they set off in the direction of the dungeons.
Potions was going alright, Hermione and Harry were partnered together and were working quickly and effiently.
"Harry I realised something," Hermione whispered.
Harry raised his eyebrow in question.
"You were right," Hermione stated quietly.
Harry looked at her confused for a brief second before giving her a very large grin.
"Of course I was," Harry replied.
Hermione glared at him before glancing across the room at Draco then blushing furiously.
Harry chuckled which earned a larger glare in his direction.
"How are we going to get them together?" Harry thought to himself while cutting the roots into tiny pieces.
Draco sneaked a side long glance at Hermione and smirked when he saw her watching him.
She must have noticed his smirk because she looked away blushing.
"She is so beautiful especially when she's flushed like that," Draco thought to himself and gasped loudly when he realised what he'd just thought.
The class looked at Draco because everyone had heard him gasp but went back to work as Snape glared around at everyone.
"I can't be. No of course not, that's a ridiculus thought. Isn't it? Yes it is, very stupid. God Draco you're losing it if you think you are in love with Granger! I am aren't I? Yes I think so, definately... I HAVE DEFINATELY LOST IT!" Draco muttered to himself.
Draco shook his head as the bell rang signalling the end of classes.
