CHAPTER 7: CONVERSATION
“Albus, I’m going down to freshen myself up and then go back to Harry,” Severus said.
Albus nodded his head.
Severus had freshened up and was now making his way up to the hospital wing to go see Harry.
On arriving, Severus was thinking about what to say to Harry. Then he noticed that Harry was awake.
“What is going to happen now? Mom told me everything. Are you mad?“ Harry asked Severus.
“No.” Severus said slightly confused when Harry asked if he was mad.
“What is going to happen? Do you want me as your son?” Harry asked with uncertainty in his voice.
“Yes, I do. It‘s just that I‘m so sorry for being horrible to you. I was jealous that you weren‘t mine, but James‘s son instead.” With a sad expression in his eyes Severus asked, “Will you forgive me or at least learn to forgive me?”
Harry smiled and nodded his head to the answer of yes, tears threatening to fall, and went to hug his father, Severus.
Harry started to cry and hugged Severus to him tightly. Harry’s head was against Severus’s chest Severus held onto Harry, swearing that he would never let go.
“Harry, we have to talk. What happened at the Dursley's?”
Harry stiffened with the mention of the Dursley’s. He just couldn’t face it. So he shook his head ‘No.’
But Severus still pursued.
“Harry, we have to punish them for what they did to you.”
Harry said, “I don’t what anyone to know.”
“Harry, there are a couple of us who already know what happened to you. Poppy ran some tests on you, Harry.”
“Who?”
“Me, Albus, Minerva, Molly, Arthur.”
Harry then exploded. “NO! WHY?” He just couldn’t believe that people he thought dearly of knew about this. This was just a dream. A dream…
Harry screamed.
Severus tried calming him down. He wanted Harry to know the rest of the story.
“Albus received a letter from your friends stating that they were worried about you. That’s when Albus asked me to go to the Dursley's to check on you. When I arrived things just got out of hand. Then, on your birthday, we received a letter from Lily. It states that I am your father. At that moment you had a seizure because of your high fever. Poppy ran some tests to check if she missed anything when she healed you…”
“What? Am I dying?” he asked. He knew life was not fair to him somehow. Now he would never get to know his father.
Severus smiled. He thought it was kind of silly how the boy thought he was going to die.
“No! One of the tests she ran on your blood said that you were a pureblood. “
“How? Mom was a muggleborn. Not a pureblood.”
“The test that Poppy ran on the Evans family history through your blood said that Lily was a pureblood. We also found out that you have other living relatives besides me who are related to Lily.”
Harry, whose curiosity had been piqued, asked “Who?”
“Well, you know them by the names of Professor Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall.”
“How is this possible?” Boy was he surprised.
That was when Albus and Minerva walked into the hospital wing.
“That is easy to explain. Minerva and I are married and we had a daughter. Her name was Ann We thought she had died in an explosion when she was three. We were always fighting against Voldemort and his death eaters. When we returned home, the manor was destroyed. We found out today that Lily was really Ann.”
That is when Albus showed Harry the paper. Harry read the paper and started to cry. Minerva cried as well and ran over to Harry and held onto him for dear life, as if her and Harry’s lives were depending on it. Then Poppy decided to come into the room with a potion to relax Harry so that he could get more much needed rest, as she put it. With that said, Severus, Albus and Minerva went their separate ways. Albus and Minerva went to their rooms and Severus went to his, to take a shower and get some rest himself.

CHAPTER 8: Punishment
At Malfoy Manor, two tall blond men had been talking but now it seemed to have turned into an argument. “Draco, you will receive the Dark Mark this winter break,” Lucius demanded.
“No, I won‘t bow down to a crazy half-breed monster,” Draco said.
“You will serve our lord. I will not accept the answer NO!”
“No, I will not serve him; he is not our lord he is yours.”
Lucius‘s eyes saw red. No son of his would disobey him! Lucius struck Draco violently and then began beating him into a bloody mess. Draco was then dragged to his room for more punishment.
“THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR DISOBEYING ME!” Lucius yelled at his son.
Lucius ripped all of Draco's clothes off. Draco’s eyes became wide in shock. He knew what was going to happen next.
‘How could my own father do this to me?’ Draco thought. ‘Oh God, I wish Severus was here!’
At Hogwarts, Severus woke up with a feeling that something was wrong, not with Harry but with someone who was also close to him. Then it hit him…Draco! Severus went to his desk to write to Draco to see if he was ok.
At Malfoy Manor in Draco’s room, Lucius raped his son repeatedly for disobeying him. Lucius cleaned himself off and dressed, he looked at Draco in disgust, and left. That was a reminder to not disobey his father. The owl arrived just a short time after Lucius left the room. Draco read what Severus wrote and he knew that he might not have enough time for thought, Lucius would be back soon. So the only thing Draco wrote was the word ‘HELP’ and sent the owl off to Severus.
In Severus’s room, the owl came back from Draco. Severus opened the letter and the only word was ‘HELP’ and the letter itself was covered with blood stains.
Severus ran out of his room and ran right to Albus’s office to show him the letter.
He found Albus on the way and told him what had happened.
“I wrote Draco a letter because I woke up feeling that something was wrong with him.”
Albus said, “Severus, go with the aurors to the manor and get Draco.”
Severus arrived with the aurors at the manor with a port key. They broke in, the five aurors entering first, with Severus following. Three of the five were holding Lucius down. It was unusual because Lucius seemed to be mostly composed. Severus went up to Draco's room to get him. He saw Draco on the floor, in his own blood, naked. Severus ran to Draco calling out his name. Draco replied back a little out of it.
Severus asked, “Draco, what happened?”
Draco replied, “Lucius raped and beat me.”
The aurors heard what Draco said.
“Arrest him!“ Severus said.
Severus put a blanket around Draco to bring him to Hogwarts and into the hospital wing.
“Lucius Malfoy, you are under arrest for the rape and attempted murder of Draco Malfoy,” the aurors said. Severus arrived at the hospital wing with Draco and yelled for Poppy. That’s when Harry woke up and asked what had happened and Severus told him.
Harry thought to himself, “Draco and I, we’re not so different after all.”

Chapter 9
At Hogwarts, Severus put Draco in the bed next to Harry’s. That was when Harry told his father that he was going to be alright. Severus said he hoped so. Harry saw sadness in his father's eyes. Albus came in the hospital wing to see what happened to Draco. Severus told him what had happened and that Lucius was arrested. Harry asked his father if he needed any help.
"Harry there is nothing that can be done until Poppy heals Draco, and you need to heal yourself," Severus told him
"Ok," Harry replied.
"Thank you" Severus smiled at Harry.
"You are welcome."
Severus, Harry, Minerva, and Albus had dinner in the hospital wing as Harry could not leave the hospital wing until he healed completely. Poppy put Draco into a healing coma to make sure his body fully healed. At the Burrow Ron, Hermoine, Ginny, Fred, and George were talking to each other about Harry. About what their mom had said. In the hospital wing, Albus asked everyone to go outside for a few minutes so that he could talk to Harry alone. With that Harry got scared. He knew what his grandfather was going to ask.They talked about what was going to happen when school started.
"Harry, we need to talk about the Dursley's,” Albus said.
"NO," Harry protested.
"They have to be punished for what they did to you."
"I don’t want anybody to know what happened to me."
"Why?"
"Because everyone will think I‘m weak. They look up to me to defeat Voldemort."
"They will think that you are brave to stand up to someone that hurt you. They will think that you can survive anything."
"I don’t know"
"Look what happened to Draco.” Albus gestured to the other boy. “You can help people that are in the same situation to come out."
Harry thought for a moment then said "OK."
"Harry, I am proud of you."
Harry smiled and looked over at Draco. Albus called in Minerva, Severus, and Poppy. Albus told them that Harry was ready to press charges against the Dursley's.
