Chapter Six- The meeting continues
“What in bloody hell did Snape want,” Hermione pondered. Should she drink the potion, and take the oath. Snape had been cleared of all charges but he was a former death eater. And could she be sure this was the real Snape. “No sir, Id like one witness, and I like to have them watch you, in case you are in a polyjuice form of Snape.”
“Well Miss Granger I assure you this matter is of the utmost secrecy, but under the circumstances I can see why you would request such a thing. Do you know a witch or wizard you could trust with any secret? I don’t mean Weasley or Potter. I doubt you would want them privy to this type of information.”
“I don’t understand sir, they are my best friends,” she said sounding hurt.
“That they may be but would you want them knowing about your sex life? Would you want them to find out about the last time your were intimate with a man? Who he was, what he did and so forth?”
What the fuck was this about? Was their something wrong with who she slept with and what business was it of Snape?
“If you will find someone you trust, and just take the damn potion and oath I will gladly tell you what the fuck business it is of mine. But you must either trust them with any secret or be willing to wipe their memory,” Snape replied to her thoughts coldly
Who could she choose, Ginny Weasley? Tonks? Her mother? No no one suited that kind of need. She would prefer it was a witch both to be a woman and to have magic in case it was needed. Ginny wasn’t a virgin but Hermione still thought of her as a little sister, even though Ginny had been with far more wizards and witches than Hermione had ever dreamed about, according to Ron.
Tonks, well she was reported to be wild in bed, wore poor Lupin out, or so the rumors went. Yes Tonks would have to do. Question was would she do it, and could Hermione trust her? She trusted Tonks with her life but ones sex life can be a bit more private. Hermione hated the idea of anyone thinking she was a tramp, though she supposed she wouldn't be.
“I like to ask Tonks to be my witness, I think she could keep any secrets I have.”
Snape hissed. “I suppose she will do but I will insist on wiping her memory.” Snape walked to the large fireplace and put floo powder in the fire and stuck his head into the flames. “Order headquarters”
