Severus woke up, Hermione draped across him, tracing circles on his side. He stretched with a groan. "Good Morning, my love." Severus gave a silent grunt back. Hermione crawled on top of Snape's naked form, straddling his thighs. Resting her cheek on his chest, she asked, "Have any plans today?"
Severus ran his hands up her thighs, his breathing sped up," none that I know of. What about you?" He let out a moan as she ground in to him.
"I have an idea." His breathing became heavier as she continued.
"Someone might hear," he panted. They didn't worry when the castle was sleeping and it obviously wasn't.
"The door," she said, sitting on his erection. "Is locked and there," she thrust down on him with a gasp. "Is a silencing charm on the room?" Severus grabbed her hips and held on as she had her way with him.
A little later, Severus flooed back to his room to take a shower and agreed to meet Hermione in Hogsmeade in his usual disguise.
"I can't wait until we can be seen together, as us. No more disguises," Hermione said, sitting opposite William. William was Severus's name out in public, his disguise. He was shorter, with blue streaks in his hair and blue eyes. He was dressed like the average Ravenclaw student and was beyond recognition to everyone...except Hermione.
"Won't be anytime soon," he mumbled, passing her a butterbear.
"Think of it. Over the summer, we could travel to the US. Just you and me. I can tell my parents it’s a school trip and you can tell Dumbledore it’s a well-earned vacation. It could be wonderful."
"And what of the Dark Lord?" His voice was much like Harry's.
"Oh, sure, bring him into this." He frowned at her light tone. "Well...you are a wizard. A very good one, who managed to pass his Apparation tests, I think you can manage."
William reached across the table and took Hermione's hand, "well, my dear, I hope you're right."
"So, we can do it?" She nearly squealed.
"Anywhere you go, I'll follow," he kissed her hand and smiled.
After finishing their drinks, they walked around, visiting all of the shops. As they walked around a corner, William stared back at the caves further down the road, remembering his conversation with Dumbledore. "What is it, S-Will?"
"Come on," he whispered, rushing her into the next store and went to the back.
"What's going on?" She whispered, obviously nervous.
"Do I really look completely different? You can't tell who I really am?"
"You look horribly different. Your beautiful nose is all small, your eyes are like anyone else's, even your mouth is different. I can't tell you're in there at all except by the way you look at me. That sparkle in your eye that only appears when you look at me. When your eyes are dark," she sighed," I feel like you're looking right through me, directly into my heart and I love it. I love you, Sev." William kissed Hermione for a moment then looked into her chocolate eyes. "One thing that didn't change, thank God, is your tongue. I think I wouldn't have the courage to kiss you otherwise," she said laughing. "Might feel too much like cheating."
They walked through the aisles, not looking for anything particular, when Hermione turned to look at him. "What was that all about anyway? No one knows about your disguise," she whispered.
"I'll tell you later," he mumbled.
They spent the day in the stores and when it came time to go, Hermione rushed into a store and came out with a bag. She insisted that she would show him later and that they should get back for dinner. William agreed, "Only because I love you," and gave her a kiss before heading back, Hogwarts students all around them.
They went their separate ways once back in the castle, William slowly becoming Severus again as he swept down the dank passageway. Hermione had said something that had truly affected him, and he was more than willing to run away to the states with her, even if it was only for the summer. Snape washed up a bit and headed for dinner.
When he entered the Entrance Hall, Severus saw Hermione and McGonagall just to the side of the steps leading to the tower. The professor had a foreboding expression on her face and was whispering when Hermione suddenly dropped to her knees with a high-pitched scream. Severus rushed to them, watching Dumbledore nearly run to their side. Snape frowned, on the inside screaming wanting to hold Hermione, "what's going one. What's happened?" He rushed.
"We need to get her somewhere."
"My office is closest," Severus said, picking the young Gryffindor up. Hermione wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face in his chest, her tears flowing freely.
"Let's make her comfortable," Dumbledore suggested before leading them into Snape's private rooms. The Potions master sat on the sofa allowing Hermione to continue crying on him, his hand gripping the fabric of his pants trying desperately not to touch her.
"Albus, what is it?" His voice a forced calm.
"Mr. and Mrs. Granger have been kidnapped." Hermione began sobbing harder. Severus dearly wish he could do more for Hermione, but as he couldn't..." What can I do, sir?"
Dumbledore was only slightly shocked by Snape's willingness to help. He had known the true side of the young man for almost seventeen years now. How truly sorry he was for what he had done so many years before and still must from time to time. "Go to them, we must know they are still alive and if they are, in what condition." He turned to McGonagall, "Minerva, come with me to Headquarters. We should gather a back up team." McGonagall nodded and followed the headmaster out of Snape's rooms.
"Oh, Hermione. I am so sorry," he pulled her to him and held her tightly. Her nails dug into his sides as she screamed into his neck. He tried shushing her, calming her.
"Why! Does it have to be like this? The past two months have been the happiest of my life. Of my life! And they take them." Hermione looked at Severus, as a new "look" completely beyond anything he had ever seen in her before came over her. "Those monsters. These people," she spat the word as if it left a disgusting taste in her mouth. "These are your people."
Severus dropped her to the sofa as he stood. "What? Hermione!"
"No! This could have been you."
"You know it wasn't!"
"Had you not switched sides; this could have been you. Killing me and my parents would have been your pleasure."
"Hermione, please! Don't do this," Severus's voice cracked slightly.
"No! Get away from me. Go...join your friends in their fun."
"Its not why I'm going and you know it!"
"Get out!" She screamed, throwing herself down on to the sofa.
He blinked away the tears threatening to spill from his black eyes and turned from his room. Hermione cried; she knew she had been unreasonable, but she didn't care. She soon cried herself into a nightmare-filled sleep.
