Chapter 6: A Moment Like This
Written by: Flamesky
Harry didn’t know what to expect. Things had suddenly taken such a direction that it was totally out of his control. However, he didn’t mind this particularly direction…
It had done Harry good to see his friend, and the Angel now felt safer, in a way. Dumbledore had told him that the effects of changing worlds, or well, travelling, had big effects on him.
Not to count the presence of his dominant mate, very frustrated dominant mate…
Harry was adjusting and thought he could see things a bit more clearly. He knew now that the fear to not see his friends anymore had disappeared, he was tranquil and much confident.
Remus and Sirius were quiet surprised. Honestly, they had thought he had gone mental when he had just started laughing. But a happier Harry was much better than a depressed one.
The three had spent the whole day together as they had to run down to Hogsmead to fetch Harry a wand. The Angel had been dumbfounded at the little wizarding village. He had stared at everything with stupor; at times his month would have been wide open. The couple enjoyed taking him around; touring a smiling Harry was surprisingly fun.
Harry had stared incredibly at the ‘stick’, how he called it, which was his wand, and waved it around causing things to suddenly grow an extra head or break some windows…Well, causing some trouble, which amusedly, Remus and Sirius had assisted laughing all the way back to the castle. Of course, they had told him to stop. The Angel had blushed outraged, why hadn’t they said something before?
Harry liked his wand though. The stick was a nice warm brown shade, some 11 inches long and had something like Phoenix’s feathers in it. Harry been an Angel, shrugged at it not really knowing the importance of a wand. It was a nice, stick; yes it would have done its job right.
The excitement didn’t finish when later that evening they returned in the castle. Hogwarts was getting ready to greet her future and past students for the new academic year. Everywhere was bustling with some magical creatures Sirius had said to be house elves, and where going around cleaning or moving statues to bust any spider web or possible filth…
The Great Hall had been spectacular that same morning when Harry had come in it, but now it was unbelievably beautiful. Candles floated above a magically conjured sky that was charmed to mirror the real actual one. As outside the sun begun to set, the colors of the Great Hall’s sky changed to mirror it. The entire student’s tables had been polished and they seemed to shine a deep chocolate brown. Even Dumbledore’s throne looked particularly outstanding to Harry’s eyes.
And now, as Harry looked at himself in the mirror, he smiled. He was wearing black Hogwarts robes. The symbol of the school was neatly embroidered on his left chest side, showing the mascot of each house.
“Professor Potter.” There were sniggers from behind him and he turned to see Remus and Sirius curled on his bed. Harry had gotten used to the constant need for the two to touch, and when it happened in a particular intimate way, the Angel didn’t storm off.
Or well, he tried not to.
“Shut it, Sirius.” Harry’s smile just grew as he stretched his arms. “So, how do I look?”
“Very professional.” The Angel blushed and thanked Remus with a nod. “Careful with the girls Harry, having an easily blushing Professor could be loads of fun for them!” Again, the Angel blushed waving Sirius away. “I’m not a Professor Sirius, I’m just-” “McGonagall’s assistant, yeah, yeah. Heard it.” Remus whacked his mate on the head. “Then shut it down with the Professor thing…Argh, and don’t pout!”
Harry chuckled softly as he went to take his wand. The couple had taught Harry some spells, he knew them all of course, and the only problem was that, he didn’t know the incantation by words. Deciding to test it out, Harry waved his wand in a certain way. “Lumos.” Golden lights streamed out of the tip, the Angel grinned and then whispered, “Nox.” And the light disappeared.
“Oh, show off, will you?” Harry grinned tucking his wand in its special place inside of his robe. “Just checking things out…Are you guys ready? Do you think we should go now?” Whoops, Harry was suddenly feeling nervous.
The couple chuckled as they stood up adjusting their own robes. Remus patted him on the back. “Never worry, Harry. You will sit next to us at the teacher’s table and all will be fine.” Harry nodded glancing at himself one last time in the mirror.
“Come on you Drama Queen!” The Angel was suddenly pulled by a smirking Sirius out of his room, a sighing Remus quickly following behind.
***
When Harry was finally sat at the main table facing the entire Great Hall, he gasped. “God, its…” Sirius nodded next to him. Students were starting to come in; Harry had been told that they were all students from second year till last. The first years that were still to come, would do a special sorting ceremony that involved a hat. A hat?
Harry had few doubts on that one…
However, the Angel looked forward to see it. “Good evening, Harry.” The said Angel turned and stood up to great Dumbledore. The Headmaster smiled but just showed him to sit down as he to, set one sit down next to Harry. The Angel watched the empty sit between them, it was McGonagall’s. She, he had been told, was the one to bring the first years and place them on the famous hat.
“Hello, Albus eh, Dumbledore sir.” Blue eyes twinkled knowingly as he winked at the Angel. Harry then, proceeded to check out the rest of the table. Some other Professors that he had no idea about who they were sat on after Sirius and Remus. Harry turned his head to the other side, almost standing up as he couldn’t see with Dumbledore’s beard in the way. It was then he noticed that dark greasy haired Professor called Snape. He was checking out the students with a dark frown on his face.
Harry shrugged out of that one and looked on. He was more then startled when he met the piercing silver gaze. The Angel gasped softly, Draco smirked in return. At this, Harry tried a small smile but suddenly, the huge oak doors opened. Harry bolted around to see McGonagall strolling gracefully towards them with a crowed of wondering first years behind her.
The hall quieted down, and as McGonagall reached the stool were the hat was resting, it begun to sing a rhyming song about Hogwarts.
Harry breathed out surprised and shared a smile with Sirius as they then watched McGonagall unwrap the parchment in her hands and beginning to call out the names of the newcomers.
Harry watched on with interest as the sorting hat destined the slightly scared students to different houses like, Gryffindor, Slithering and such…
Every different house greeted the newcomer with laud cheers. Harry clapped politely for each house. This was definitely interesting.
Once the sorting was over, Dumbledore rose to have his welcoming speech. He talked on about the usual safety procedures and restricted places. He went on about Hogsmead weekends and festive times, only when Dumbledore acknowledged Harry and Draco did the Angel pay all is maximum attention.
“Our fellow potions and transfigurations Professors this year will have an assistant.” There were lots of whispers and murmurs around. “I would like to ask you to respect their assistances as if they were real actual Professors, for the time been, they do count as Hogwarts’ stuff members. Please welcome in Mr. Harry Potter and Mr. Draco Malfoy.”
Almost instantly, there were claps as a sign of salute and respect. Harry blinked suddenly realizing that Draco had stood up and he too stood up. The Angel could feel all the eyes on him; the feeling was making him highly uncomfortable. Few girls suddenly cheered a little bit too wildly, Harry noticed that they were giving him and Draco seductive looks. As the headmaster calmed them all down, Harry sank back in his sit.
“You survived!” Teased Sirius. Harry just gave him a glare and sighed. This didn’t look as easy as it seemed at all…
***
For the rest of the dinner, things went on great. Harry served himself with the food and spoke with the people sitting closer to him. Then, Harry felt something and he turned. His gaze was met with the Demon’s once again. The blond raised a brow before smirking and then whispering something to Snape. The Professor nodded curtly and Draco stood up. He looked towards the Angel one last time before disappearing in the door behind their table. Harry’s heart gave a jump of anticipation. That was his cue.
He turned back casually to his Godfather’s conversation and tried desperately to find a pause to break in. “I’m leaving.” The Angel said suddenly. Sirius turned to watch him; Remus next to him peered at him suspiciously. “And where are you going?” Harry blushed. “I kind of have…A meeting with Draco and it’s alright!” He said quickly. “Nothing’s going to happen, I…We just, we are trying to give it a try and…” Harry went quite as Sirius hugged him, his eyes were slightly teary. Harry blinked as the couple smiled at him. “You go on, Harry.” The Angel looked at them closely but then shrugged and stood up.
“Don’t let it be too late when you go back to your room.” Warned Sirius. Remus scowled at him. “Oh come on you old fart, the guy’s eighteen!” Harry that had frozen in mid step chuckled. Sirius pouted and looked doubtfully at Harry. However, he smiled and waved him off. “Have fun.” Harry blushed and grinned back. With that, he quickly left after Draco.
Back at the teacher’s table, Remus went to hold Sirius’s hand and he turned to smile at him. Remus smiled back, squeezing his hand reassuringly. “It will be fine.” Sirius just nodded and pecked him slightly on the lips.

“I’m here.”
Harry stopped in his steps and turned to look in the shadows. From the wall, a figure moved. It came in the light and Harry stopped frowning trying to see him.
“Hey.” For some reason, Harry felt like he had ran for miles. Draco gave a small smile as he came forward. There was a moment of hesitation when the blond suddenly reached for Harry’s hand. Green eyes looked at him questionably. “Follow me?” Harry gripped the hand and nodded. Draco then, begun to walk forward still holding his hand.
Harry blushed, the gesture weirdly intimate for him as they quietly and quickly made their way trough the corridors. Up some stairs they went, they seemed to never end. They went up and around, Harry gripped the railing as they continued to climb. “Is it ever going to end?” Now, he was truly breathless. Draco chuckled not giving any signs of been tiered. “Almost there, few steps more!” “Right,” The Angel sounded sarcastic. “Few thousands…” But then, Draco stopped and Harry climbed the last step to go next to the blond.
He knew that the Demon was smirking down at him, and made a point not to look at his direction. Draco just chuckled a little and pulled him towards another curled up set of stairs. Noticing Harry’s expression, the blond laughed out loud. “Don’t worry, they aren’t as much.” True to his word, soon, Harry found himself on the largest balcony he had ever been too.
The cool air greeted him, wind tousling his hair slightly as he walked forwards to the handrail. He gasped, they were so high up! Harry had a nice view of all Hogwarts. It seemed that Draco had brought him at the highest tower the castle had.
“It’s…” Harry could feel the Demon’s presence close to him. “Yeah…” The Angel looked at him as Draco rested his crossed arms on the handrail and leaned on it comfortably. He lifted his face slightly as another gentle wind caressed them both. For a moment, Harry watched him and looked away before the other could notice.
The Angel looked back at the panorama, the lake once again, caught his eyes and he watched it shimmer under the blanket of stars above. In the distance, Harry could even see the lights of what he suspected to be Hogsmead.
He breathed in the fresh air feeling rather content.
“How was your day?” From that little question, the two started talking. It was like an ice breaker, Harry found himself sharing to Draco, the slightly first embarrassing visit to Hogsmead. He even succeeded in making the blond laugh at times. All which, amazed Harry even more. He would have never said that Draco was the same person he had met…The first time.
Harry realized that he too enjoying lessening Draco telling him about his day. Of course, he hadn’t done anything as amusing as Harry, or how he said it, but it was nice to hear anyways.
“And then I found this place. I thought it was beautiful and I realized you might like it too.” Harry smiled shyly and looked away. “Yeah, it’s really nice. It’s so peaceful.” The tall blond straightened up from his bent position and turned, resting only his elbows on the rail. A smile was on his lips. “I’m pleased.” He said. Harry chuckled and shrugged his shoulder. “Nice to know that I please you.”
A blond brow arched and Draco carefully reached out for Harry’s hand. At the warm touch, Harry looked down at the hands then at him. “I’m pleased that you like it.” Draco said sincerely. As Harry started to smile back he said, “Therefore, I should be pleased with myself as I was the one to bring you here. I’m a genius.” Harry snorted, playfully pushing his hand away. “Give me a brake…”
The two went on talking, eventually going to sit down against the door as they did. Harry begun to see more of Draco, he was very smart and funny for what he could tell. The Angel lessened to him speak about various constellations as they stargazed.
“Isn’t that fascinating? And look at the constellation over there.” Draco suddenly kneeled closer and pointed somewhere on the left. Harry sat straight up and tried to concentrate on were the other was pointing. Sensing his confusion, Draco came closer yet and rested a hand on Harry’s shoulder.
The Angel gulped slightly and felt his other arm be gripped and lifted. “There,” Came the calm whisper in his ear. Warmth suddenly embraced him as Harry found himself against Draco’s warm strong chest.
“Do you see it?” Draco’s hand slowly went up the Angel’s arm to twirl with the fingers and point. “The one with the big star in the middle…” Harry inhaled, willing himself to stay calm as he looked back up. His head brushed Draco’s shoulder as he did so.
~Everything changes but beauty remains
Some things so tender I can’t explain
Well I may be dreamin’ but until I awake
Can we make this dream last forever
And I’ll try to show the love we share~
“I…” The hand that had rested on his shoulder slid down to his waist, he felt it wrap around it protectively and pull him gently against the body behind him. Harry blushed, mouth still open. “I…” He repeated again. “I think I see it.”
“Yeah?” Harry could only nod as that hand slid on his navel. “Can you distinguish the shape?” The warm breath made Harry shiver, he wondered how Draco had gotten so close without him even realizing.
Green eyes looked up, head brushing Draco’s shoulder again as he frowned at the sky. He focussed on the big star in the middle and then smiled. “Oh!” He exclaimed, Draco chuckled softly, lowering their twirled hands against Harry’s chest.
“That’s Leo.” Was whispered in his ear again. Harry felt Draco rest his chin on his shoulder and tried not to tense more than he was already. The Angel’s heart was beating wildly under those clasped hands, it made him blush that Draco could feel it.
“I’m a Leo.” Said Harry as he looked back at the constellation, the stars sparkled and blinked down at them. “Really?” The Angel bit his lip and nodded. “Yes.” Hesitantly, he turned his head so to look at the blond. He breathed out quivering at how close they were. Silver eyes shifted to meet green and Draco gave a lop side grin.

“Hey,” The blond whispered. Harry looked down blushing, their hands squeezing lightly. “Hey,” He breathed back, a shy grin on his face. “Are you ok?” Harry looked back up quickly. “Oh yes, yes. I’m great.” The Demon arched an eyebrow, a mischievous smirk on his face. Harry gulped silently as he looked away. He welcomed in the wind that soothed his warm cheeks and sighed.
A comfortable silence fell on them as they watched the stars. Draco snuggled his chin in the crook of Harry’s neck, making the Angel’s hair stand straight up. Then, the Demon inhaled deeply. “What are you thinking about?”
~Could this be the greatest love of all
I wanna know that you will catch me when I fall
So let me tell you this

For a moment like this~
Harry smiled up to the sky. “I wouldn’t know were to start.” He said honestly. Draco’s thumb caressed the Angel’s palm in slow circles; the small touch was enough to make Harry tingle even more.
There was another pause where Harry was so caught up in the feelings the blond was giving him that he didn’t hear him call his name.
“What?” The chest he was against vibrated in small chuckles. Harry blushed again, looking some were in the sky feeling quite stupid. “I was asking…” Repeated the blond, voice calm as he whispered in the Angel’s ear. “Are you scared of me?”
A star seemed to twinkle suddenly at this as Harry bolted his head to look at Draco. Intense silver eyes met his wide emeralds. “I…” A new sensation gripped his heart as pure adrenaline mixed with his heavily pumping blood.
Draco was looking at him, but not just looking. Draco was gazing at him, his eyes travelling around his face before meeting the emerald jewels again. Harry’s cheeks tinted a lovely red color once more as he looked down and back up at the Demon’s eyes.
“I don’t know.” He said finally. Draco nodded slowly, thoughtfully, eyes still on him. “Is this ok?” Harry blinked realizing he was talking about the position they were in. The Angel smiled embarrassedly and looked up at the sky. “Yeah…It’s ok.”
If Harry had been looking, he would have seen Draco come closer but, only felt the Demon’s lips gracing his ear. The Angel gasped as even the arms holding him tightened in a possessive way and yet, still gentle.
“Harry?” The said Angel breathed in deeply. “Yes?” He had almost squeaked. “And…Is it ok if I kiss you?” Harry froze before unfreezing with a blinding hot blush on his face. “Harry?” The raven head Angel stammered a little before turning to face him. “Yeah..?”
“May I? May I kiss you?”
As Harry met that calamite stare once more he knew there was no turning back. The Angel wordlessly gapped at the blond, eyes shimmering with emotion. His heart had gone absolutely wild and that was all the answers Draco needed as he leaned forward.
Green eyes closed as the small space between them ended when the lips of the other begun. Draco kissed him softly, lips brushing and caressing tentatively almost scared Harry would brake away.
Oh, he was kissing his mate. Finally, to Draco it was like breathing again. He couldn’t hide it to himself how he had missed it, no; in fact, he had missed all of it. Draco had missed Harry. Only now he realized how much. It had been wonderful having him in his arms, feel him close, have his lovely scent surround him…But this…This took him to another galaxy, entirely.
Harry shivered even if he was feeling extremely warm. Remembering he had a free hand, he lifted the shaky hand and placed it gently on Draco’s cheek. Fingers disappeared in the blonds’ silk like hair as he caressed Draco lightly.
The Demon smiled in the kiss, his own heart had sped up. He embraced the feelings knowing it was no use in battling them. He moved their claps hand so that also Harry could feel his heart. The Angel shivered again as he shyly responded.
If Harry was Draco’s Angel, then the Demon suspected he had found his little private heaven. With Harry of course, because no other place without him would seem to be right any longer.

I wanna know that you will catch me when I fall
