Pieces

Disclaimer: I don't own it, obviously, but they're too much fun not to play with. Oh the drama I can create, hehehe, mwahahahahaha...sorry, got a little carried away there, down evil side, down.

A/N:This chapter is a little slow and you can ignore it, it's basically the boring Order of the Phoenix and all their drama. I'm just advancing the plot, god I feel like Harry right now, putting in pointless information, hehehe.
Please review. I love to hear from you. Thanks to all who have so far, I'm just too tired to look up your names, three hours of sleep is not enough. Let me know what you think of the latest developments. The good stuff is coming in about five chapters, I promise. Enjoy. Don't forget, review, please. Don't be shy if you hate it. Oh, by the way, leave a review with your email address if you would like me to beta your stuff. Or you could just email me.I'm not too busy right now but I'll have to take the last two weeks of December off, no internet at home during break, ah college life. I'll do HP and original stuff. Let me know. Enjoy.

“So, explain this again. Where is Harry? And why did he drag Ron and Hermione off with him?” asked Tonks.
“Sorry,” said Lupin. “Ginny has been kidnapped by Snape and Draco Malfoy.”
Gasps filled the kitchen of assembled Order members. All were there with the exception of the Weasleys. And Harry and Hermione. They had all answered the emergency call that went out ten minutes ago and flooded into the kitchen. Bill, Fleur and Molly Weasley were discussing the recent events in private. The twins were in hiding, Charlie was missing, Percy still refused to be associated with the family, Ron was with Harry and Hermione, Ginny was in the clutches of evil, and Arthur had not been seen since the previous day. And throughout the kitchen, whispering had begun about all these recent events.
“Please,” said Lupin. “Anyone with incite as to why Ginny was taken, please.”
“I have a thought,” said Neville. “Um, Ginny and Harry were dating for a while last year. It could be a way to get to Harry. I mean, Malfoy knows all about that.”
There were murmurs of consent around the kitchen crammed with chairs.
“We are aware that that could be a reason,” said Lupin over the hum of voices, silencing them at once. “But there has to be more. There has to be a reason why Molly wasn’t killed, only stunned when they attacked the Burrow.”
“She wasn’t the target,” grunted Moody.
“That much is obvious,” said Lupin wearily. “But Voldemort would not pass that opportunity up. Ginny must have some more significance than we know of to Harry. There just has to be more to this story.”
“Well,” said Tonks, looking at Lupin fondly, “she looks at him the way you look at me. And you should see the fire in his eyes when he looks at her. They’re in love.”
“That much is true,” said Bill from the doorway. The three remaining Weasleys had decided to join the rest of the Order. “But mum said something. Harry almost called her something. When Remus was talking about bringing the whole Order into the matter. She said he said ‘My’ and paused and then said ‘My personal life’. Ginny isn’t his personal life. There’s no reason why it should be just him, Ron, and Hermione going after her.”
“He said that?” said Tonks, sounding as though she couldn’t believe it.
“Yes,” said Molly.
“Well…” Tonks trailed off.
“Well what?” asked several people at once.
“Well…did the two of them disappear at all in the last several months at the same time for a few days?”
“Yes,” said Molly.
By this time the three Weasleys had taken seats.
“I married her,” came a voice from the doorway.
Heads whipped around to see a bloody Harry standing there, supporting and even bloodier Ron. Gasps filled the room again.
“Are you hurt?” asked Tonks, stepping forward at once.
“No, we aren’t,” said Harry.
“Where’s Hermione?” asked Moody in his low growl.
“St. Mungo’s,” whispered Ron.
“What happened?” asked Lupin.
“Don’t you bother yourself with it,” shot Harry. “There are more important matters here. I’m clearing the table so you can get back to your work and stop this wasteful speculating. Ginny and I got married two months ago. She’s two months pregnant. That’s why Voldemort had her kidnapped. To get my child. But she’s under heavy protection. He can’t harm her or the baby in any way. And while we’re on the subject, Ron and Hermione are getting married soon too. Well that’s it. Just wanted to inform you so you can get back to your work.”
“Wormtail,” whispered Ron. “His information.”
“Right, I almost forgot. Malfoy is angering Voldemort, so expect him to come to one of you for help soon. Snape is the new Lucius Malfoy. Azkaban will be attacked in two weeks. The giants are coming down and joining some of the goblins and they’re attacking the centaurs. The lower circle Death Eaters are in training camps right now for an attack on the Ministry in September. The remaining Aurors will be attacked in October. In November, he’s destroying St. Mungo’s. And that brings us up to Hogwarts. Inferi are being created for an attack on Hogwarts around Christmas. If that falls, the First Circle is moving to Ireland and France to destroy opposition while the lower circles will stay to destroy everyone who isn’t a Death Eater or a Death Eater’s child. Then he plans to run through Europe and Asia. Then the Americas and the rest of the world. He plans on destroying everyone who doesn’t swear allegiance. And I’m supposed to die in a fight for Ginny and the baby. And apparently Fred and George aren’t Death Eaters but are keeping company with them. I think that about sums it up, right Ron?”
“Wormtail,” he whispered again, still faint and being supported by Harry in the doorway.
“I forgot. Wormtail is dead.”
Then the pair of them swept from the kitchen.
“Who killed him?” shouted Lupin.
“Hermione,” said Harry over his shoulder.
“What?!” shouted Lupin, but they were gone.
“Oh my!” said Molly.
“Well, Scrimgeor needs to know about Azkaban, Kingsley.”
“Right,” he said in his deep booming voice. He strode out of the kitchen.
“We need to warn the centaurs, Hagrid.”
“Sure,” he said, maneuvering out after Kingsley.
Padma and Pavarti Patil, Neville Longbottom, Dean Thomas, Luna Lovegood, Bill and Fleur Weasley, Susan Bones, and several others stood and made their way out.
“Where are you all going?” asked Tonks.
“Hermione,” answered Neville simply.
“I don’t think Harry and Ron want you all storming up to her bed,” said Lupin.
“So?” said Luna. “She’s our friend.”
And with that, they all left.
“Now, has anyone seen Arthur Weasley?” asked Moody.
There was a general murmur of descent. Molly let out a quickly stifled cry.
“Search the Ministry,” said Lupin. “Tonks, Moody, please, for Molly.”
“Sure,” said Moody, and the pair left.
“Azkaban,” mumbled someone.
“I know,” said Lupin.
“Well, we’ll have to meet it when it comes,” said Molly.
“Did he say two weeks?” asked an Order member from the back.
“Yes,” answered Molly. “Why?”
“The full moon,” answered Lupin quietly.
“We are going to need Harry’s help,” said the same person from the back.
“I know,” said Lupin. “I just don’t know how to persuade him.”
“You’re the last of the Marauders,” said McGonagall. “His father’s greatest friends. If anyone can get through to that boy, you can.”
“I don’t know that I can,” he said.
“Well,” said Flitwick, with a hint of a smile, “you persuaded James and Sirius to go to class. An impossible feat in my opinion. Harry will at least hear you out. He’s too much like James not to.”
“That’s true,” said McGonagall.
“You know,” said Molly, her lips hinting at a smile, “you could always threaten him with a detention.”
At this, the whole group started laughing. Lupin gave a weak smile before the door burst open, revealing a very flustered Hagrid.
“Hagrid, what iz it?” asked Madam Maxime.
“The centaurs.”
“What’s happened?” asked Lupin.
“They’re gone,” he said. “An Grawp too. The forest is full o' goblins. They’re fightin' the thestrals.”
“Where are the centaurs?” asked McGonagall.
“Don’t know, but Aragog’s clan is gettin' mighty riled and ready to attack. And I heard giants o' the way. The whole ground 'as shaking. I know Grawp’s up in the mountains somewheres, but the whole herd o' centaurs is gone.”
“Where would they go?” asked Molly.
“The castle,” said Hagrid. “It’s locked down from the inside and I 'eard hooves. But I’m not too sure. And I think they let the merpeople know wha' was goin' on. They had a guard up when I came up and she 'old me to stay sharp.”
“I thought thiz wasn’t suppozed to happen until after Askaban,” said a girl from France.
“We had better get up there,” said McGonagall.
“No,” said Hagrid. “It’s a creature battle. You won’t stand a chance. Magic won’t do nothin'. I know the centaurs. They’re planning somethin'. I’m goin' to help a li'le but I won’t do no good for long. Stay clear o' Hogwarts. Just thought you should know. Get up to bloody Azkaban. I bet it’s a double attack. And get Harry up there. Odds on, you-know-who’s up there workin' dark magic. Just stay shite of Hogwarts is alls I’m sayin'.”
“I’m coming wiz you,” said Madam Maxime.
“No, it’s too dangerous.”
“You need zomeone to watch your back in a creature battle zis large.”
And before he could argue further, she was gone.
“Get those other kids from Hermione and get to Azkaban,” he shouted, making them jump. And with that, he was gone.
“Molly, get the kids,” said Lupin.
“You,” she said. “You need to get Harry to come. I can’t do that.”
“Fine,” he said. “Everyone go with caution, it could be an ambush. I’ll pop by the Ministry and send the other three over as soon as I can.”
“See you soon,” said McGonagall.
