Darkness
I am so sorry but this is not another chapter I am dealing with a lot of stuff right now. But this poem came to me and can be tied to what happened to Harry when he was raped what must have been going through his mind. I am so sorry to be all depressing but I have just gotten sad news from both the love of my life and the old love of my life in the same day.This one is dedicated to Tyler may you fight the darkness inside and find someone who can give you the will to live. I knonw I did. Please revew and tell me what you think of the poem.
Darkness is all I feel
The pain long ago gone numb
But the darkness still burns like fire
It embraces and entraps me like a spiderweb entraps a fly
It would be so easy to just let it win
It sings to me of freedom
It sings to me of bliss
MY pain will disapear it whispers
My pain will be no more
An eternity of nothingness
But at least I will feel no more
Betrayal stabs me in the heart like steel cutting flesh
The darkness will numb it
The darkness will make it go away
I slowly start to believe and let it take over
The darkness begins to choke me, to kill my very soul
With my last breath I fight
I fight for my soul
I want to feel
I need to feel
If only to get revenge
Someday I will be strong again
And the darkness will be far behind me
For now I fight the darkness
For now I fight the pain
I will live to see another day
Maybe this one won\'t be so dark and grey
I want to gve up it hurts so much
To give up means to lose my soul
To give up means to lose my life
I will live for the ones I love
The ones who hold me dear
I will live for the sunrise
and the moon as it dances in the sky
I will live for the one who caused my pain
to see his eyes one day
To see his eyes as the darkness takes his soul away
