Chapter Six: Harry's Soul Shattered a Bit More Than It Already Had
Thank you to all the Reviewers! I got 7! Alright, if this is familiar, that cause I did post it before, but its revised now. And I plan on making a sequel when this is done. Ohh, and Jen, I totally agree that they\'re love is so much sweeter since they haven\'t seen each others appearance!
Ohh, and this is the chapter that anyone who has read the story dreads, this is the epitome of cruelty on Draco\'s parts, but He will find out how wrong he was, trust me, he will.

Chapter Six: Harry\'s Soul Shattered a Bit More Than It Already Had
\"Oh, you remember Prince Harry Potter don\'t you?\"
Tom couldn\'t be happier, a smug smile shrouded on his elegant features. Draco could hide his emotions very well, but after spending a year along side someone in the war, you begin to understand how their emotions work. Toms developed inferring skills on understanding Draco, and judging by the white knuckles clutching his drink he was fuming. This was perfect. Draco was Tom\'s only threat, the only person with enough sovereignty to take Harry from him, and Harry still had a silly infatuations with him so he was a double threat. Though, by the looks of Draco he wouldn\'t have to worry about him even wanting to steal his priceless love away.
Tom felt Harry stiffen which confirmed his expectations. He had based his whole plan on Harry not telling Draco about his situation due to pride, or some disillusion about Draco loving him. Enjoying his position thoroughly, he grinned in a demented habit. Tom decided it was time to flaunt his dominance over Harry sealing the deal, getting a rise from Draco, and successfully proving his supremacy.
\"Harry, darling, Why don\'t you go mingle, I\'m going to stay and discuss some things
with Draco.\"
Without thinking Harry replied, \"Yes Tom.\" and left with a quick bow despite his equal royal rank. Draco nearly smashed his champagne glass after that parade of unbalance power. He was forced then to listen to Tom drone on and on about trivial matters, and just glanced Harry walk quickly out to a deserted corridor. He had to talk to Harry now. He had no idea what he would say, and it didn\'t matter, because he\'d know when he saw that dirty little traitor.(BK : OH NO!)

Harry was leaning over the balcony\'s rail. He hated this party and for about the millionth time everyone\'s eyes were on him. It made him sick, and he wondered if they stared because he was wearing such a revealing outfit and it made them disgusted to see it on his boney thin frame. Or maybe they just stared to make him uncomfortable as a cruel joke. He felt like crying after the ordeal with Draco, and he realized soon after how submissive he was being. Harry wasn\'t always like that, It just sort of developed after the first year, when he realized Draco wasn\'t going to save him.
As if to answer his cry of loneliness a small cardinal bird flew from a near by tree. Having his wingely blood, Harry only had to whistle and the bird flew over to him and perched on his finger. He felt better having a friend.
\"Why are you crying?\" Harry was startled by the fact that he was crying, and even more startled by the fact the BIRD WAS TALKING!
\"You can talk?\"
\"Yes, and you can too. Isn\'t that wonderful?\"
\"Umm yeah. It is nice to have company.\"
\"Yes, it is. Now, why are you crying?\" the child like voice seemed very distressed that Harry was, indeed crying.
\"I don\'t exactly know. I guess because I\'m pretty sure I just lost my best friend.\"
\"I\'ll be you friend.\"
\"Okay, what\'s your name?\"
\"Claus.\"
\"That\'s a nice name. How can I meet you?\"
\"When ever you want me, just whistle.\"
\"Okay. . .thank you I-- \" and with that the door slammed open to the balcony and Claus flew away in fright. Harry spun around leaning on the balcony, and looked at the intruder. Oh, God no!
Draco.

Giving up on finding Harry, Draco chose to just go on the balcony to cool his head. Needless to say he was surprised to find the object of his anger waiting for him there whistling with a small red bird, a bird he quickly scared away by crashing the door closed. Harry turned, and looked at Draco with those large frighten Eyes.
Even if he was mad Draco couldn\'t deny that his former plain looking friend had grown more beautiful than he had ever suspected. He was amazing out there though, bathed in moonlight, forlorn verdant eyes staring at Draco.
\"Hello Harry.\" Draco remarked in sickeningly false sweetness.
\"Draco. . .I. . .it\'s not-\"
\"Save it. You just have to get married don\'t you? You needed more power? Wanted to expand the Potter line?\"
\"That\'s why you said ‘no\' to me two years ago? You honestly think Im that shallow?\" Harry said disbelievingly.
\"Obviously you are if you went to Tom after asking me.\"
\"How dare you! You don\'t know the whole story! If you weren\'t so suspicious then this would have never happened! It\'s practically your fault, you-\" SMACK!
The ghastly snap of skin against skin resounded of the stone walls of the balcony.
\"I don\'t want to hear it. I can live with the fact that you don\'t love me, but I can\'t live the fact that you\'re willing to sell yourself to power like a slut.\" whispered Draco in a voice that was so potent that despite the volume it echoed around the balcony. And with that Draco left with his robes reeling and swirling behind him.
He wasn\'t there long enough to see Harry collapse. With each step Draco took Harry\'s soul shattered a bit more than it already had.
