All to Myself

Sirius whistled as he strolled down the street. Life was good. No wait, life was more than good; life was fucking fantastic!

They had gone to dinner at The Capital last night and had a wonderful time. Bryn had looked lovely; she had been wearing a blue dress that showed off a good amount of cleavage. All night he had to tear his eyes away from it and focus on her face. She’d been extremely amused by it, taking deep breaths when he was looking all evening.

Getting back to her house, they’d kissed again and would have gone further if it weren’t for her neighbor. The old bat had come out of her house screaming about the indecency of women these days. Bryn collapsed into his arms in a fit of laughter when he replied, “Well, I’m trying to get her to do something indecent, you old hag. Leave us alone so I have a better chance of getting her inside!”

Life, for once, was good. Sirius frowned at the thought. Every time life was good, fate did something to bring it to a new low. He knew what Bella had said to Snape, she would be looking for Sirius and whatever girl he was currently interested in. Bryn was in danger and didn’t even know it. What was worse, she was in danger and he did know it. But he couldn’t bear letting Bella win.

Looking up at the stores he was passing, he spotted a barbershop. Glancing at his reflection in a window, he grimaced. Maybe a trim was in order. Grinning, he remembered what Bryn had said about how he needed a haircut. “Ah well, that settles it.” He murmured.

Opening the door, he stepped inside.

Bryn walked down the street, hoping for any sign of her dog. He’d been disappearing lately and she couldn’t figure out how he was getting out of the yard. Sure, he was huge, but the fence is just too high for him to jump. She’d looked around for holes underneath it, made sure none of the boards were loose, even took to putting him on a long leash while he was out there. The damn dog got away every time.

Peering in an alleyway, she whistled for him. A familiar voice behind her made her jump when she growled in frustration. “You know, there are other ways to go about challenging stray dogs to a fight.”

Turning around, she smiled at Sirius. “It’s not that, my dog has gone missing again.”

He nodded. “I took him. I wanted to surprise you.”

Bryn knit her brow. “Well, it’s surprising. Why would you take my dog? Can’t you get someone else’s?”

He barked out a laugh and put an arm around her, leading her down the street. “No, no one else’s dog needed to be groomed. I reckoned that I’d get it done for you, that’s all. By the way, what’s his name?”

Bryn laughed at the misunderstanding and put an arm around Sirius’s waist. “Oh, ok. Umm, name? I don’t know, I never named him. What is a good name for a dog?” She squeezed him closer and was surprised at how thin he was. Did the man never eat?

He shrugged. “Well, you could name him just about anything. I’d recommend staying away from names like Fluffy and Princess, though. What is he like?”

Thinking about his eating habits, she almost didn’t hear him. “Huh? Oh, um… I dunno. He’s quiet, loves my cooking for some odd reason, and we watch old reruns of Fawlty Towers together.”

“Quiet, eh? Did you expect him to talk to you? Maybe we can figure out a charm so that he can…” Sirius joked. She nudged him and he continued. “Of course, that means he could talk to me too. Not a bad idea… I might find out some interesting things about you.”

Bryn feigned indignation. “Mr. Black, I am shocked you would even think such a thing! Nothing about me is interesting.” She squeaked when he suddenly pulled her into an alley.

Pushing her up against the wall, he gazed intently at her. “On the contrary, you are the most interesting person I know. Everything about you captivates me.” He placed a warm kiss on her collarbone. “You’re smart and funny. You look absolutely breath taking in a certain blue dress that you wore last night. I enjoy every minute with you and I want you to know that no one could ever not find you interesting. Of course, if anybody ever thinks you’re dull, that just means that I have that much less competition.” He kissed his way up to her ear and nibbled on it, sending shivers down her spine.

She moaned softly and felt her cheeks heating up slightly. “Well, I guess you’re convincing me. And I don’t know what competition you’re talking about.”

He pulled back and frowned. “You guess? I’ll have to try harder then. The competition is every other guy out there who lays eyes on you. You’re gorgeous, Bryn. Don’t ever think otherwise. For now, I mean to have you all to myself.”

Bryn giggled and waved at a trash bin. “Yep, just you and some rotting fruit.”

He glanced around thoughtfully. “You’re right, this will never do. Fortunately, I know just the place.” He stepped back and held out his hand. “If you’ll come with me, my lady?”

Wondering what he had planned, Bryn took his hand. Within moments she felt the pull of being apparated with him.

Looking around, she saw they were in some sort of drawing room. The walls were a nice shade of red and comfortable furniture abounded. She gave Sirius a quizzical look.

He held his hands out and responded, “Welcome to my home. Please, make yourself comfortable. Or, better yet, let me.” He picked her up, eliciting a shriek from her, and carried her to a big squashy couch. Laying her on it, he grinned. “No, where was I? Oh yes, having you all to myself.” He leaned in and kissed her, moaning when she tangled her hands in his hair and pulled him closer.

He pulled back when they heard a thump upstairs and then the sound of something falling down the stairs. This set something else off, which starting screaming obscenities and other remarks, punctuated by the use of Sirius’s name.

Looking up at him, Bryn wondered what kind of place he brought her to. “Old girlfriend?”

He shook his head and drew his wand as he started for the hallway. “My mother,” he replied. Peeking out of the doorway, he relaxed. “Tonks! What are you doing here?”

Bryn couldn’t hear an answer through all the yelling, and apparently Sirius couldn’t either. He threw open the door and went out for a moment. Suddenly the screaming stopped and he and Nymphadora Tonks came back into the room. “Well, Tonks, I believe you and Bryn know each other?”

The pink haired witch grinned down at her. “Yep. How are you, Bryn?”

“Um, a little concerned about where I am at the moment. That was your mother, Sirius?”

Sirius smiled tightly and plopped down in a chair. “Yeah, dear old mum. It didn’t take us long to shut her up this time, thankfully.”

Tonks snorted. “At least it’s better than when she was alive, now all you have to do is close the curtain and she’ll stop.”

Bryn frowned in confusion. “Are we talking about a painting, then, or a ghost?”

Sirius shrugged, affecting an air of nonchalance. “A painting, it’s got a permanent sticking charm on it so I can’t get rid of it.” Bryn noticed that he said it a little too casually and decided to change the subject.

“Ah. Alright. So, where are we?” /Seems like a safe enough question./

He grimaced slightly. “Number 12 Grimmwauld Place. It’s a house I inherited from my parents.” /Ok, maybe not./

Tonks stood up. “I’m sorry, I didn’t know you’d be home today. I just came over to get that lunascope Remus left over here the other day. He can keep track of the moon phases without it but I keep forgetting. Do you know where it is?”

Sirius nodded. “In his old bedroom. I found it last week and put it on his desk.”

Tonks smiled. “Thanks, I’ll just get it and leave. Good to see you, Bryn.”

A thought occurred to Bryn as she said this. “Tonks, wait! What do we know of the break in over in Bristol? Any new developments?”

Tonks swallowed and looked at her cousin before answering. “Erm… no, not really. The ministry’s chalking it up as just a run of the mill muggle hunt.”

Bryn gave her a flat stare. “That wasn’t a muggle hunt, I know for a fact that a wizard had rented it for a couple of months. It’s all in an affidavit on my desk. Kingsley can’t be standing aside and letting that pass?”

Tonks gave her a tight smile. “Well, the affidavit was a fake. The individual who signed it was under the effects of a memory charm at the time. Kingsley’s taking care of the case personally.”

Bryn raised an eyebrow. “Oh, really? Thank you, Tonks. That’s all I needed to know.” She said a little too sweetly.

Tonks gulped before turning and leaving the room. Sirius frowned at Bryn after they heard a crack from upstairs, telling them that she had gone. “What was that all about? Don’t go beating up Kingsley, please. He works very hard and besides, he’s one of the only friends I have left.”

Bryn got the impression that he hadn’t meant to say that last part and smiled at him. “Alright, I’ll leave him alone. But only because you asked me to.”

Sirius grinned at her and got off the chair to kneel in front of her. “Well, since we’re alone again…” he leaned forward and began kissing the exposed flesh above the neckline of her shirt.

A voice could be heard from the kitchen. “Sirius, are you here?”

He sighed and pulled away. “Yes, Molly, I’m in here.”

Molly could be heard coming up the steps, talking the whole way. “Oh good, I thought you might be at that g…” she came in the room and saw Bryn and tried to cover it up. “Gorilla’s cage.”

Bryn burst into laughter. “A gorilla’s cage? Is that where you go when you’re not at my house?”

Sirius offered her a weak smile and shot a glare at Molly. “Erm, no. Molly is just apparently having trouble distinguishing between reality and fantasy. If you’ll excuse me?” He didn’t wait for an answer as he guided Molly out of the room.

A few minutes later, he returned to find her looking at some pictures of him on the mantle. “Having fun?”

Bryn looked up from the mantle and nodded. “I’m assuming that’s Harry in this one with you?”

Sirius came over and looked down at the one she was holding. “Um, no. That’s his dad. We were celebrating Halloween in our own apartment that year. Had a huge party and invited everyone we could think of. The mess afterward was bloody unbelievable!”

She nodded and then began to giggle. “Ah, and why, may I ask, did you decide to go as Bo Peep?”

He chuckled. “Well, why not? We made Remus dress in a sheep costume as part of our own little joke and that prompted me to get that rather horrid costume. You have no idea how much those pantaloons rode up on me.”

She bit her lip and shrugged. “Oh I don’t know, I’d think the stuffed bra would be worse. So, Remus… that would be the one who worked at Hogwarts for a time, right? The werewolf?” Sirius nodded and her eyes brightened. “Oh, I get it! You had him go as a wolf in sheep’s clothing! Brilliant!”

He beamed at the compliment and brushed her hair away from her neck. “Why thank you. Now, on to more pleasurable activities.” He murmured as he began nibbling on her neck.

Bryn tilted her head so he would have better access and brought a hand up to tangle in his hair. “Oh, well don’t let me keep you from… from…” She couldn’t complete this thought as Sirius had moved up her neck and was currently working on her ear.

He chuckled. “From what? Doing this?” he asked as he sucked on her earlobe.

The woman in his arms moaned. “Yes, that.”

He let his hands roam over her body and moved to the other side of her neck. “Having a bit of trouble thinking, are we?”

She broke free and whipped around to face him. “No, thinking plenty. It’s just the only thoughts I had were what else you could do with your mouth.”

Sirius gave her a lecherous grin and advanced on her. “Oh? Well, shall we turn those thoughts into reality?”

Bryn giggled at him as she backed away. “You really need to work on your pick up lines.”

He advanced on her again, making a vexed sound when she took another few steps away from him. “I’ll make a note of that. For now, I want to show the other talents my mouth has.” He backed her against the wall and stepped in close. Bryn managed to twist out of his grasp and scampered across the room, taking up a defensive position behind a chair. Sirius turned to her and darted forward again, only to be thwarted by the chair being moved into his path. “Will you hold still, woman?”

Bryn laughed at him and made a dash for the stairs. “So, you want me to go all droopy on you?”

Sirius lunged for her, barely missing her foot. Falling to the ground, he responded, “Oof, that hurt. No, I just want you, but I’m finding that rather hard at the moment because you won’t bloody let me near you!” He ran after her up two flights of stairs before bursting in to Fred and George’s bedroom. Cornering his prey, he shut the door and sealed the room before leaning against an old wardrobe. “Now, about my mouth…”

Bryn studied him for a moment, her jaw set, before relaxing and saying, “Yes, about your mouth, I’ll bet you put a password on that door, didn’t you?” Sirius nodded. “Uh huh, and I’ll bet you’re not going to tell me what it is?” He nodded again. “Alright, then I’ll just have to test the door to see what kind of traps you’ve set on it.”

Sirius stepped aside with a smug smile on his face as Bryn made her way over to the door. She expected him to grab her as she walked past, but he remained motionless with the exception of turning his head to watch her pass.

The curiosity was overwhelming as she reached out her hand. The sensations that that one simple touch caused were the very last thing she would have expected. The most intense pleasure imaginable coursed through her, pooling in her abdomen. She gasped and felt warm hands pull her away from it.

Once she regained her senses, she gazed up at Sirius in wonder. “You know, I’ve never thought of using the Inimicus Remando in that way before. Will anyone try to come in this room while we’re here?”

Sirius smiled down at her and stroked her cheek with his hand. “Not that I know of. Although, if Molly comes back…”

Bryn leaned her head into his chest and laughed silently. “Won’t she get the shock of her life?” Sirius didn’t say anything so Bryn asked, “You did know that it will effect both sides of the door, right? You can’t just limit it to one side.”

His face suddenly had a light of understanding cross it and he barked out a laugh. “I didn’t know that, but thanks for telling me. I’ll have to use it on Tonks and her husband the next time they get in an argument.”

Bryn looked up at him, mirth shining in her eyes. “Alright, now I find out what your mouth can do.”
