Bella of Delphi

Now a few weeks later, the group was still all chatter and loudness. Bella thrived in the house, she awoke with a smile everyday. thinking of what new trouble Harry and Ron would be trying to get out of. She giggled when Severus would get offended by almost every movement in the house. He was unusually friendly to her, she shared alot in common with him, despite what he might of thought. Bella had found Severus to be warm, and friendly to herself. Yet she did see him around the others where he was cold and disarming. Yet one night Bella awoke listening to howls outside in the surrounding woods. She knew exactly what it was, her knowledge told her that she falls back asleep and giggles to him about it in the morning. Yet, inside her she wants to defy what is scheduled to happen. Instead she gets up, and walks downstairs to the kitchen. She begins rummaging around, and doesn\'t leave for another two hours. She returned to her bed around 4 a.m. There she slept soundly until mid-morning. As she made her way down the stairs she heard the commotion.

\"Who made this?\" Ginny was squealing her fingers touching the golden flaky crust of the pie sitting on the counter top.

\"I don\'t know Ginny, darling, but stop touching it! It says \'For Remus Lupin\'. He is still sleeping so until he wakes up, we shall elave it alone.\" Molly pulled her daughters hand away.

\"Alright, but i wonder who made it?\" Ginny still inquired while Ron, and Harry were playing chess in the kitchen. Bella walked in and smiled at the pie.

\"What a lovely pie Molly. Did you make it?\" She questioned.

\"No actually, we came downstairs and found it here. It\'s for Remus, so i don\'t know. Do you want some breakfast dear? Maybe eggs, or waffles?\" Molly started sifting through cabinets.

\"Oooh Waffles sound delicious, Mom!\" Ron piped up looking at his mother.

\"Alright waffles it is!\" Remus quietly chatting with Sirius entered the kitchen. Remus quickly spotted Bella\'s honeyed green eyes fixed on him, he smiled at her, before he was pulled by molly to the counter.

\"Remus! Some one left this for you.\" Ginny yelped. Remus touched the new scratch on his cheek, then looked over to Bella. Bella couldn\'t contain her smile, biting down on her lower lip her eyes fluttered.

\"Well, I don\'t know this could be from? I\'m sure it\'s delicious!\" Ron stepped over

\"You should have me test it first just so i can uhhh..check it for poison.\"

\"You may have a piece Ron.\" Remus smiled. \"Infact, everyone have a piece.\"

\"Remus it\'ll spoil their breakfast.\"

\"It\'s just pie mol.\" Remus smiled and molly gave in, herself having a small piece of the delicious apple pie. The kids atrt doing the dishes after everyone finishes, and Sirius walks back upstairs to nap until lunch.

\"Alright, kids! We\'ve got to go to Diagon Alley, to pick up the remainder of your school supplies. Go grab your cloaks, come come!\" Molly made her way to the door. Remus stood talking to the kids about what they will need to bring for the upcoming year, the kids were laughing with Remus. Bella quietly made her way to the living room. She said goodbye as everyone left the house. She turned back to the daily prophet that sat on the couch cushion next to her. Remus made his way into the room, and sat down in the chair adjacent to the couch.

\"Thank you for the pie, that was very sweet.\"

\"It was no problem, I actually woke up because i could hear your howling. So i changed alittle fate and went downstairs and made that pie for you. You just seemed so happy when you spoke of your mother. I wanted to make you that happy.\" Bella looked back down folding the paper, she felt her cheeks start to burn up, and the blood rushing to her face making her glow like a little red flame.

\"So, I believe you still have yet to tell me about your family...\" Remus leaned forward on his knees.

\"My mother was humble, and my father was proud. My brother was a trickster, he loved to mess with his friends at school all the time. He knew the exact way to pull things off, my mum would say he uses his powers for wickedness. Yet she still forgave him for every mistake. My dad though, he thought his son could do no wrong. They were like any other parents really, they never forced me to learn about anything i didn\'t want to know. They were very caring.\"

\"They sound like they were wonderful people.\"

\"Thank you.\" Bella leaned off the couch towards Remus, her cheeks still red. \"Do you miss teaching?\"

\"Yes, but i guess it was for the better safety of the children, and I get to be with my favorite students here, plus my best friend.\"

\"Always a plus to have your friends around.\"

\"Yes, Do you enjoy it here Bella?\"

\"More then anything. Mainly i enjoy that you\'re here.\" She leaned in closer to him, preparing for their lips to touch. She knew they were too kiss, her knowledge told her so. Yet he pulled away.

\"Excuse me Bella, i really must be off. Sorry.. I... I shall see you at dinner.\"

\"Goodbye Remus.\" He walked out quickly, her was flabbergasted by those events, her mind was wrong. She thought what had she done. by changing her own fate that prior night, had she changed everything else. Just then sharp pains fluxuated through her body. She couldn\'t move, she screamed out in pain. Sirius came rushing down the stairs. She couldn\'t move though, then her eyes closed, and an entirely new page of lfie entered her head. The thoughts were too much for her, so without any consent she went blank, and passed out.
