*+*The Dark Princess*+*
Chapter 6

Hermione sat waiting for her father to come and get her for the meeting. This was the night she was to be marked by her father. He had not told her where or what it would look like, but that it would hurt. Hermione hadn’t changed much from the time she was kidnapped to the time she beat up Draco but she had changed greatly since then. She was now taller about 5”7’ which is the height she wanted to be. She still had the black hair but she found a spell that made it fall in waves but not the bushy waves of her childhood but beautiful tame waves. Her eyes were red but more of an intense red of fire than the soft dull red of her fathers. Due to training she had gained a lot of muscle in her body but lost a lot of fat, she was a perfect size 9. The one thing that stood out was a scar she had on her face from dueling her father; it was medium thickness about the size of a pen around and ran from above left her eyebrow to below her eye. It would have been possible to remove but because of the power of the spell he hit her with it was never going to be able to be removed, like Harry’s. She sat waiting in her own room, ready to go. She had on leather strapless bustier with leather pants and her boots. She was wearing all black, and her Deatheaters robes were over the top. Her mask was on her bed. ‘I wish he would get here soon.’ She thought. The door opened and in walked Elowes her house elf to do her hair.

“How would the misses like it today?” asked Elowes her high and squeaky voice was shaking.

“Just get it up and out of my face, a high ponytail perhaps.” Hermione answered her, harsh and quick. Her hair was quickly done and the house elf left, glad, it would seem, to escape Hermione’s presence. Hermione checked herself in the mirror and was just about to give up on the meeting when Voldermort entered her room wearing the finest robes she had ever seen. They were a black, but blacker than anything she had ever seen, and along the cuffs and the hem was embroidery of runes that Hermione knew read “And He Shall Rise Again.” Hermione thought it was a nice touch as she rose to follow him.
“Come my daughter, it is time.” Voldermort said staring in Hermione’s eyes.

“God’s Damn it!” Severus Snape yelled as he felt his mark flare to life. He was sitting in his private labs taking notes on a potion he was researching. He quickly placed a spell on the caldron that would keep the potion suspended until he could get back to it. He walked into his room and grabbed his robes and mask before Floo’ing to the Headmaster’s room.
“Drop the wards I have to go, I don’t know when I will be back.” Severus stated before Albus dropped the wards. “Good luck, Severus.” Albus said as Severus apperated out of the room. Once Snape was gone Albus Floo’ed Harry and Ron.
“Harry, nice to talk to you to, is Ron there somewhere? Severus was called away to a meeting. Is there anywhere that you can follow him with out him or the Deatheaters knowing?” Albus asked Harry since Ron had not shown up yet.
“Yeah, we found this spell that will not only keep you invisible but also undetectable. We will head out now, I’ll track Snape right away.” Harry answered and left his living room.
“Good Luck,” Albus said sadly.

“My Children, as some of you know I have been working on a very important project. One that will launch us back to the great power we need to defeat Dumbledore. This person will be the one that everyone fears. They will tip the scales. I give you my daughter, Hermione Granger-Riddle.” The gasps were great and many; some of the followers even went to the extent of shaking their heads in disbelief.
“My dear will you please come up here.” Voldermort held his hand out for Hermione.
Someone in the middle of the Deatheaters crowd started walking to the front. The persinalinally made it to the front and turned to face the crowd. The hood was lowered by the wearer and was revealed to a very fit young girl that strongly resembled Hermione Granger, except the hair was black and the eyes were red with a scar across her left eye.
“Sir, this girl does resemble the Granger girl, and I … don’t mean to um well doubt you, but I-I-I think we need more proof.” An unidentified Deatheater said from somewhere in the crowd.

Harry and Ron couldn’t believe what they were seeing, this girl in front of them was, no doubt about it, their Hermione, the hair and eyes didn’t change her enough that they couldn’t recognize her.
“Holy shit, what is going on?” Harry asked Ron from their hiding spot just behind the tree line that was the backdrop behind the Deatheaters.
“We need to talk to Dumbledore about this.” Ron answered. The two apperated to Hogwarts and quickly made their way to the Headmaster’s office.

“You don’t trust my judgment? Well, I’ll let your insolence go but I am disappointed.” Voldermort turned to Hermione. “My dear would you please show our followers your power.” Voldermort asked sweetly and moved over to the side.
“Of course, father.” And with that Hermione advanced upon an unidentified Deatheater. The Deatheater back up only to be shoved back forward by the others surrounding them.
Hermione stalked the Deatheater around the circle, her eyes never coming off the prey.
“Expelliarmus!” yelled the Deatheater. Hermione’s wand flew from her hand into the waiting outstretched hand.
“Crucio,” yelled the Deatheaterrmiormione stood proud and tall, unwavering as if the curse had never been cast. A horrible laugh that seeped evil suddenly could be heard. Hermione stood in the middle of the circle with the Cruciatus curse on her, laughing.
“Whats going on? Why haven’t you fallen? You should have fallen!” the voice was frantic and the Deatheater was looking around as if someone in the crowd was going to tell him what was going. The evil laugh permeated the air again.
“I don’t fall victim to the Cruciatus curse, I’ve learned to defeat it. I’m stronger.” Hermione’s eyes flashed dangerously. “But lets see how you do against it.”
Hermione flung her hand out sending a wave of the Cruciatus curse to the Deatheater who quickly fell and curled into a ball.
“What, you can’t fight it? Oh, how sad.” Hermione mocked the Deatheater. She quickly turned to her father, “What would you like me to do with him?”
“My daughter, would you please make an example of him.” The Dark Lord answered and gave her a nod of the head.
“Yes father,” Hermione said then turned her attention back to her prey. “It’s your lucky day.” Hermione walked around the man for a minute then stopped across from him but the whole circle away. She rasied her arms and aimed her palms at the man.
“Avada Kedva” Hermione felt the bolt of green light leave her hands and she willed it with all her might. ‘Gods, forgive me but I have to do this. I WILL be the next ruler. I am strong enough to do this.’ Hermione thought as she watched the man fall back with a look of horror on his face.
