Fighting Destiny

Dumbledore, Snape, Granger, and Weasley were all in shock as they looked at the parchment on the desk white now said that Zabini and Weasely had come back into the competition.

“Does this mean they’ve learned to compromise?” Asked Ginny

The rest of them nodded.

“Why though?” Asked Hermione

“Hum…” Said Albus as he stroked his chin as he started to slightly pace his room.

“You don’t think they are trying to win do you?” Asked Hermione

“Maybe. This would get back at Malfoy and Potter wouldn’t it.” Added Snape.

“Yes, that does seem to make sense. If they win, that means that Harry and Draco would feel guilty and well, I cannot speak for either of them but perhaps Harry would feel guilty and go back to Ron.” Said Albus

“Ugh!” Exclaimed Hermione, “Those evil conniving little-”

“Watch your language Ms. Granger.” Warned Snape

Hermione glared at him. “This isn’t fair. Harry WILL feel guilty. Without Harry, Draco would go back to Blaise and it’ll all fall apart. Our whole plan will be ruined!”

Albus smiled at the four. “Don’t worry you three. Thing’s will work out just fine.”

Both Draco and Harry had finished their work.

“Wanna go for a walk?” Asked Draco who was currently snuggled up to Harry.

“That sounds lovely. I wonder how things are going though.”

“Harry, stop thinking about it. Things will be fine.”

“I guess but I can’t help it.”

Draco leaned in to kiss Harry. When Draco pulled away he was smiling, “Maybe we should scratch the whole walking idea.”

Harry smiled back, “I think we should too.”

Draco leaned in for another kiss and started at Harry’s robes.

Harry moaned as Draco started making his way down Harry’s jaw.

Harry had also started tearing away at Draco’s robes.

“Draco, do you think we should do this in a bed?” Moaned Harry

“Why? It doesn’t make a difference to me.” As he started to give Harry’s skin little flicks with his tongue.

“Mmm… okay, then forget it just don’t stop.”

Draco smiled and gave Harry little love bites all along his neck.

When Draco got to Harry’s pants his eyes went wide, “Wow, Harry, what have you been hiding from everyone?”

Harry blushed, “Your not too bad yourself.”

Draco tackled Harry’s mouth again and Harry moaned with ght.ght.

They just continued their tongue wrestling until one or the other accidentally rubbed their members together and they both lost it. Draco released the mouth and was breathing rather rapidly. He picked up his wand, “Accio Lubricant.” He managed to moan out.

A tube of Lubricant flew to Draco and he caught it. His hands were shaking as he opened the tube and dipped his finger inside. He quickly rubbed it against Harry’s member and around his own entrance.

When he touched Harry’s, Harry gasped and shut his eyes.

Draco smiled and positioned Harry at his entrance.

Draco slowly allowed Harry to enter him. It didn’t hurt because he had done this with Blaise all the time but Blaise weverever anywhere as big as Harry is.

Draco groaned the entire time. Until Harry had stopped moving to make sure Draco was alright. Draco had only stopped to tell Harry to continue.

Smiling, the Griffindor continued but slowly until Draco gave word.

“Faster, Harry, please faster!”

Harry’s thrust’s came more rapidly and Draco moaned. Making love had never seemed so perfect before. It had never in his life felt so good.

“Oh, Harry, Oh God, Harry!”

“Draco, I’m coming.”

“Come, Harry Come!”

Harry released in Draco as Draco released all over Harry’s stomach. They had both screamed in ecstasy and saw those beautiful stars that clouded their vision.

Draco fell on top of Harry and held his Griffindor. “Mmmm… that was good.”

“Yes it was.”

“I love you Griffindor.”

“I love you too Slytherin.”

And the two fell asleep.

“What do you mean professor?” Asked Snape

“Yeah, there’s no way we can change things now.” Protested Hermione

“Look on the parchment and you shall see.” Instructed the Headmaster of Hogwarts still smiling joyfully.

They three looked down and all gasped. Beside the names of Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy it said ‘Won- One month, three days, eight hours forty two minutes and 18 seconds.’

“You mean they-” Said Ginny

The Headmaster smiled, “Yes, they told one another that they love each other. Now, I’m not sure if it went beyond that. But they love each other. They have won the competition.”

“Does that mean the competition is over?” Asked Hermione

“Yes, but you will all still be required to stay within your given rooms until the end of the school year. There will be no room changes. I think this will suit the winner’s quite well. And you too I suppose Ms. Granger.”

Hermione smiled at the Headmaster of Hogwarts and blushed as she saw the other two look at her dumbfounded.

The next day during dinner everyone was required to attend that dinner in the Great Hall.

The Headmaster stood before his body of students.

“Good evening witches and wizards! I am here to inform you all that the competition given a month ago has indeed come to an end for we have found winners!”

Everyone cheered. The Headmaster smiled and continued, “Thereby setting the first step to student unity!”

Everyone cheered again. Ron elbowed Blaise and Blaise smiled back both looking proudly up at the staff table.

“Now, I will have professor Snape read the names of the winners of this competition.”

Professor Snape stood up and opened the scroll he held a month and five days ago.
“The winners of the Unity Competition between houses at Hogwarts are Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy with the time of One month, three days, eight hours forty two minutes and eighteen seconds.”

There was silence that fell about the Great Hall. Neither Harry nor Draco knew what to do. They couldn’t move, this didn’t make sense. But it wasn’t either of them who spoke next.

“WHAT?” Shouted Blaise standing up.

Snape glared at Blaise, “Did you not hear me the first time Mr. Zabini. I said Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy, now, would these two winners please step up and receive the prize.”

“This doesn’t make sense! We should have won! We became friends!” Shouted Ron joining his room mate in standing before the school.

“Yes you did Mr. Weasley and Mr. Zabini, too bad you had already lost One month, and three days prior to this show of unity. The competition was for those paired up to be able to look past their differences that they had to start with.”

“WHAT?” Shouted Blaise.

“Mr. Zabini, perhaps you should get your hearing checked if you could not here me that time. You and Mr. Weasley here had already lost the competition five minutes and thirty six seconds into the competition.”

The entire school broke out in laughter and the two standing competitors both turned red. Ron was red with embarrassment and Blaise was red with anger.

Blaise grabbed hold of Ron’s arm and dragged him out of the Great Hall.

After everyone had quieted down professor Snape spoke once more. “Now, I will ask once more for Mr. Harry Potter and Mr. Draco Malfoy to please step up and receive their prizes.”

They both slowly made their way up to the front of the school nervously while all the students clapped and cheered them both on. Even the Slytherin were glad that it was one of their own who won the competition and not only a Griffindor.

Snape stepped out from behind the staff table and held a rectangular shaped.

Albus had also stood up and made his way to greet the boys. “Boys, you have done well in brining our school unity. We admire your charisma and your willingness to put aside both your differences and help make our halls a safer and more peaceful place to walk through.”

“But professor, what did we do?” Asked Harry

Albus bent down, but not much, and whispered in both their ears, “You told one another that you love each other and the words were spoken from deep winthin your hearts. That was what helped you both win.”

Harry blushed and Draco smiled. But they had both let their jaw drop mom moment Snape had opened the box.

Inside held two sets of wrist clasps and two identical keys.

“Gentlemen, please pick up your clasps and fasten it on the other’s wrist.”

They both did as they were told. Draco’s clasp was sterling gold and had red rubies on it in the shape of a dragon, which moved when it felt like it. Harry’s clasp was sterling silver with green emeralds on it in the form of a snake, which also moved whenever it felt like it.

“Now, gentlemen, these keys’ belong to the two of you. They open the door to a condo in London. You may both do as you wish with the condo. If you decide to sell it and split the gold, it is alright, if you both wish to share the condo, that is alright as well.”

The two boys looked at one another and they made a silent agreement. Now they wouldn’t have to think of where to buy a house after Hogwarts.

“Also.” Said Albus addressing the student body, “The competition rooms will stay as they are. All competitors must keep up the competition rules for the rest of the school year even though the competition is now officially over. It will show the rest of the school initiative to bring about school unity as well.”

Albus nodded his head to signify that the two boys were now allowed to go. As they went, Hermione jumped Harry and took him into a hug, “Oh Harry! Congratulations! I’m so glad you won and not those two fools!”

“Oh, uh thanks Hermione.”

Draco eyed Hermione suspiciously but let it go, for now.

After fighting the crowed and finally getting the chance to slip away back into their own room Draco tugged Hermione to come along.

“Draco, what is it?”

“You set it up didn’t you? What for though?”

“I didn’t do anything.”

“Yes you did. Our reflections told us the first time we entered into our room. You know something we don’t.”

Hermione looked at Harry but Harry was just as curious to what his best friend had to say.

“Okay, well, it was actually Ginny and Snape’s plan. They saw you and saw how your old boyfriends had forcing the two of you into the whole staying with the relationship thing so, they decided to do something about it. The only other people who know about it are the Headmaster and myself.”

“What?” Asked Harry

“They wanted you both to be happy.” Replied Hermione

“But Snape helped, ME?” Asked Harry

“Yes, actually he was the one who informed Ginny that he saw something and Ginny had noticed as well so they planned it and got Dumbledore and me involved.”

Draco hugged Hermione, which was a shock to both the Griffindor’s.

“Thanks.” Whispered Draco.

Hermione smiled, “Glad to have helped.”

Pansy came out of the Great Hall, “Hey! Hands off! You’ve got your own! This one’s mine.”

They all stood there smiling. This is where the unity of the school begins.

Snape stood a distance away from the group of four along with the Headmaster and Ginny.

“This will truly be an unforgiving winter.”

Albus nodded his head. “I’m glad it doesn’t involve the happy four.”

“Ron and Blaise are going to be in for a rough winter aren’t they?” Asked Ginny who was trying to be included into this weird conversation between the two older men.

Snape smiled at her, “Yes, this winter will be unforgiving to them indeed.”

Ginny smiled, “Good. Serves them right!”
