Chapter 2-5 review:
Now I *know* I\'ve read this fic before. In the P&P fanfic, the elder Mr. Bennet was the kind old judge wasn\'t he? The younger one was Ms. Elizabeth Bennet.
I feel you ought to be honest and acknowledge your source. Otherwise this is blatant plagarism off another person\'s fic. Your storyline follows that P&P fanfic totally, only changing minor details to fit that story.
Unless you\'re the same author - which I seriously doubt, for that writer has a far better grasp of writing than this.
First of all, let me profoundly thank you, Campy Capybara, for your compliment on my writing skills in which you were kind enough to say that I have \"a far better grasp of writing than this.\"
With deep regret do I need to inform you that I am indeed the same Joanna as the author of the P&P story you mention and hold every single right to the plotline. You may choose not to believe it but that\'s entirely your problem. I have no wish to prove my identity.
For the information of other readers, the story on which this story is based was indeed published at austen.com, back in 1998. It was titled Difficult Parenthood and signed by Joanna, namely me.
Writing is a great experiment done by the author for the readers and I view it as a way of making readers have positive feelings. Negative ones are easy to evoke, even punching the person will do the trick :) The positive ones are the difficult ones because ridicule stands so close. I am very sorry, Campy Capybara, for having failed you as a writer.
I hope, however, that this situation will teach us all that jumping to conclusions, having no proof, is not a constructive method for anything. We, none of us, I believe, want to live in Orwell\'s \"1984\".
Kind regards,
Joanna a.k.a Joga
