Disclaimer: I do not in any way, shape, or form own the rights to Harry Potter. That undoubtable honor goes to the mother of that wonderful creation, JK Rowling. She is a goddess of the literary arts and should be acknowledged. So, please, for the love of all that is holy, please do not sue me! After all, plagiarism is one of the most sincere forms of flattery. *bows and runs off stage*

Warnings: This is a very OOC fic, especially with Harry and Dumbledore, and is pro-Dark Lord. This fic contains slash! If you don\'t like male/male relationships, here\'s a hint: DON\'T READ IT! The flames will keep me nice and toasty warm, because, after all, I live in Alaska. We need all the heat we can get.

Thanks to my beta, Emmy.

Back to the boys! Not really evil this chappie, but it shows the transformation into what Harry is now.

ACK! *blushes* Thanks guys for pointing out that the owl was making a delivery to a dead man. I just noticed that. *chuckles weakly* Well, it has been fixed so no harm done.

Proditio
Chapter Six

Harry sat, leaning forward, his chin resting on his steepled fingers as he watch with a detached gaze out the window. The past three weeks had been hectic for both himself and Draco, as they filed for emancipation and became legal adults. Soon after the emancipation came an owl from Gringotts informing him that the res his his vaults, locked until he reached his majority, were now open to him.

That had been a pleasent surprise, especially with Harry wondering how he was going to support Draco and himself on his old vault, when the truth was that the Potters were every bit as rich as the Malfoys. Draco was overjoyed with the news, of course, and immediately took Harry shopping say that now he was rich, he had better learn how to act like it.

But beyond the clothing and the new accountrements for the posh three bedroom flat they had chosen to be their new home, there were dark arts books, potions ingrediants Snape could only dream of, and the employment of one Kiran Langley to make their flat -- even to the rest of the building -- unplottable with so many wards that it made Number 12 Grimmauld Place look unprotected. It was because of thes protections, Harry had had one of the most relaxing summers ever.

The annoyances that were his frieds never could contact him, no matter how hard they tried as no owl not bearing the Ghost Lord\'s crest on a collar around their neck could get through, leaving them with only old Hedwig and the two newest snowy owls Thanatos and Wrath for outside communication. Hedwig and Thanatos were with them now, and Wrath was informed to join them at Hogwarts after a delivery to Remus.

\"Are you still upset with me for dragging you to that Salon? I assure you it was for the best, especially since Granger can\'t even recognize you. She thought she did, but I saw the lack of recognition in her eyes.\"

Snorting slightly, Harry just gave Draco a smirk, closing his eyes and remembering. The salon was a magical punk makeover place, and Draco, getting iritated with the constant looks Harry got when ever they walked through Diagon Alley, decided it was time for Harry to change his look drastically. So on came the hair, magically grown to his ass, and dyed with everlasting dye that colored his hair at the roots as it grew. Then came the piercings, the earring charged with an extreme amount of protection spells, and the nose stud coated in anti-entrancement spells, proof against veela, sirens, and love spells. Next was a tattoo that both students got, the ghostly image of a thestral on their left upper arm, head and shoulders seen as the rest of the body faded away into wind. An finally, to finish the look off, a run was made to a wizard Optician for a pair of colored contacts to make Harry\'s eyes the icy blue they were now with the added bonus of having magical contacts that not only stranged in strength as needed but never had to be taken out.

Harry wat ext extremely pleased with having no choice on his look, but even he had to admit it was a grand disguise, allowing him to rid himself of the overbearing presence of the Boy-Who-Lived, and just become Ghost. Or in Hogwarts eyes, they were losing Harry Potter, and gaining one Lupus Umbra, called Ghost by the translation of his last name.

And I will be re-sorted. Reborn into Slytheriherehere I have belonged all along.

The letter to Dumbledore, requesting entrance had arrived on the headmaster\'s desk a week earlier, and was returned promptly, with a school letter informing Lupus of what suppies were neccessary for fifth years. Along with the question of why he did not attend Hogwarts in the first place.

Lupus\'s response had been to tell Dumbledore that Harry Potter no longer existed within it\'s mortal coil, and now was the home of Lupus Umbra.

Letters were rather silent after that.

\"No. It was a good idea. I just wish I had a bit more say in the outcome. Now will you please throw me one of those blank uniforms? We\'re coming up on Hogsmeade.\" Lupus gazed out the window at the lights in the distance that were fast approaching as he shuffled his way into a white silk shirt, grey silk tie, finely woven grey linen slacks, expensive black italian leather shoes, and a perfectly cut, expansive-sleeved, open-front black linen robe devoid of house crest. The uniform was a bit more personalized than most, excluding Malfoy for the past five years, and now just Draco, but the uniform gave Lupus a sense of elegance even in school robes.

Then came the concealer. Lupus and Draco fought with spells to hide Harry\'s scar, but with the power contained within the scar, diguise came impossible without muggle aide. Fed up, Lupus stomped off to a muggle mall, and sat down at a make-up counter and ordered a worker to find him the perfect concealer for his scar. Twenty minutes later and three hundred pounds shorter, Lupus had a year\'s supply of cover up that he charmed to stay on without budging. The trick only worked until he had a shower, but it was easy enough to redo.

Draco was looking at Lupus with a degree of curiousity, before shaking himself and starting to don an outfit similar to Lupus\'s, but with a green and silver striped tie, a robe with the Slytherin crest, and darker grey slacks.

\"So,\" Lupus began, adjusting his tie, \"if what you have hinted at is true, will their be no shifts in your relationships within Slytherin?\" Lupus was trying to sound disinterested, but for once could not cover it up. Or, as Draco thought, Lupus was trying to make it look like he was covering up the emotion.

Draco scoffed at the remark. \"We\'re Slytherins, of course there will be some changes, all linked to politics though. Any friendly relationships, most will not change, such as my friendships with Vince, Greg, Milli, Blaise, and Pansy. Older students might become a bit more distant, now that my father is not an issue, but the younger students,\" He paused for a second pondering the few younger students he was friends with, \"they might stay near or they might leave, but then again I was never close to those younger than me.\"

Then whirling about, Draco fixed Lupus in a hard and searching gaze, which did nothing to unruffle the calm and utterly serene boy. \"How about you, Umbra, can you tear yourself away from your Gryffindors so easily? You seemed rather remorseful there for a second.\"

Chuckling with no mirth, smoothing the fine fabric of his robes, fingers lightly tracing the black on black embrodiery of vines on his cuffs, Lupus shook his head and looked up with a grin that never reached his intense icy stare. \"The Gryffindors have always been the first to put me away when I did not please them. They will give me no heartache. The only remorse I felt was the last of my feelings for an old friend. Nothing more.\"

I had to say good bye completely to Harry Potter. Harry could never betray his friends and he would forgive Dumbledore for making him nothing more than a tool of a prophecy. But Lupus Umbra will not.

Lupus was silent once more as he looked out the window, watching as the flickering lights of Hogsmeade came closer and closer, all at once looking like a gathering of fireflies, but then as the lights grew, the scene became warmth. Distasteful warmth. All these people snug and cozy in their houses, ready to believe anything that the Ministry told them. Ready to believe lies. Too blind to seek truth. And it was because of this blindness, Voldemort could reign free, until it was too late, and the deaths hit too close to home.

Sneering, Lupus tore his gaze from the window, thinking of how the blind would finally see, only after their saviour doomed them all with his proditio.

My betrayal.

He smirked slightly at that thought. Draco had been teaching Lupus the finer points of latin this last summer, and even though Lupus was rather hopeless at the language himself, he had learned a few words that intregued him. The history of betrayal in Roman society was rather famous, and they had such beautiful words for such a horrendous crime.

Kinda make you think doesn\'t it?

Shivering in morbid delight, Lupus ignored his thoughts for the time being as the train slowed to a halt. Draco and Lupus looked at each other for a moment, and then with a yawn from Draco and a show of boredom flickering in Lupus\'s eyes, the two lazily made their way from the train, through the crowds and into a carriage, filled with a group of second year Hufflepuffs.

Lupus turned to see Draco eyeing the children with an almost fanatical glee, but in an attept to seem mature he seemed to be holding back, sneering at the young and timid second years, who gazed back at Draco with a look bordering on terror.

\"Now, Draco, play nicely.\" Lupus said in a condescending tone, a smirk on his face as Draco turned to scowl at the former Harry Potter for the remi of of his father.

Draco then just smirked back and said in a light voice that was just dripping in hidden sarcasm, \"But, of course, dear Umbra. I always play nicely.\"

Giving the terror stricken children a rather feral grin, Draco then leaned back in his seat and the rest of the trip was made in silence as they made their way to the castle. The Hufflepuffs were too terrified to do much more than look between Lupus and Draco, their looks at Lupus touched slightly with curiousity. But as they reached the castle, the Hufflepuffs could not be faster in bailing out of the carriage, followed by Draco and Lupus at a more sedate pace.

\"Well, Ghost, off to be sorted with you. I\'ll be saving you a seat at the Slytherin table.\" Draco said with a nod and a smirk, marching off in a fluof rof robes as Lupus remained on the stairs, waiting for the arrival of Hagrid and McGonagall.

Hagrid. THe first wizard I ever met. He told me that all dark wizards hailed from Slytherin. Another planted idea from Dumbledore, especially concidering Pettigrew.

The doors of the Entrance Hall then slammed open, and wild, yet semi-tamed Hagrid bounded through like an overjoyed bloodhound. Lupus sniffed rather disgustedly at his former identity\'s choices in friends and stood tall and proud as small, frightened first years made their way up the steps to join him.

\"Ah! There ye are! Lupus Umbra, I sup\'ose?\" Hagrid said, his voice booming about the hall. \"Ye were ter take the boats \'cross the lake, but ye made it \'ere just fine.\"

Lupus sniffed once more, his black glaved hand rubbing underneath his nose as if ridding himself of a bad smell, \"Yes, I suppose I have. But then again that would be perfectly obvious wouldn\'t it?\" Lupus stated in an icy tone, taking great pleasure as he saw the massive man practically deflate under Lupus\'s biting tone.

A few of the first years snickered, and Lupus\'s eyes flashed about, measuring the offending first years. Most of them had the look about them of old wizarding families with lots of old money to throw about. Families like those of the Malfoy line.

Future Slytherins, I suppose. Future followers if I try.

Hagrid shuffled away then, under the cool and even gaze of Lupus, and left the children waiting on the stairs until Professor McGonagall made an appearance. She spoke of the houses as a family (Ha! Tell that to the Gryffindors!) and told them about the points which were fairly useless in Lupus\'s opinion as they really did nothing to increase your worth. Then the stern woman gestured for the students to follow her as the door to the Great Hall were opened and the children to be sorted were let down the hall between tufflufflepuff and Ravenclaw tables. Whispers errupted about the hall, some coming from the first years as they looked at the ceiling with awe, some coming from hungry diners waiting for the feast, but most coming from students who watched Lupus with a wary eye, wondering about this obviously older student amidst the first years.

A/N: Sorry I didn\'t get to Snape\'s reaction as I ran out of time. I had a bit of writer\'s block, and the only time I could set aside was rather hectic! I promise I\'ll make it up to you all. But please please please, make an attempt to review! It makes me happy and more willing to write longer chappies! Mata ne!

Confused *blinks* Dude. I bow before your logic. I guess this shows I didn\'t think of this too deeply, huh? *chuckles* But then again as the author I have the power.... to do this! *plops a sign before a rather large hole in the text that says Caution: Plotholes AHEAD!* *chuckles* Well now that I made that perfectly clear..... I will say one thing. Ochi has no logic. She lacks in the logic department. She is like the midget, but instead of being heightness-impaired, she is logic-impaired. She also has no common sense, so see where that leaves her. *grins* I was talking in third person and babbling again wasn\'t I? *shrugs* Thanks for pointing that out nicely though. I do appreciate it. Just think of the Unnaming the product of a bunch of really obscure wizard laws.

Lupusdragon Oh, I hate Ron too, don\'t get me wrong, and no he will Not be the third wand holder, but even if you paint someone flatteringly iphysphysical sense, doesn\'t mean you can\'t shoot them down later. And before you ask, I named Lupus Umbra before I saw your name so don\'t go getting any ideas! *grins mischievously* On all the rest of your questions... *winks* You\'ll just have to stay tuned to find out!

To all the review peoples *blushes* Thank you all for your lovely pe ofe of me. You have no idea now much it is all appreciated!
