Chapter 6
When he got down to the dungeons he saw that Snape was up and when he saw Harry he quickly hid a crumpled piece of parchment in his cloak pocket. Harry had not noticed, he was too exited.
“Guess what I am allowed to? Dumbledore gave me permission to move into your house if I
want.” Said Harry hysterically.
“You do know what you’d be giving up, don’t you son?” Said Snape worried.
“It’s worth i.t” Harry said happily.
“If you think so.” Snape said amused.
“So officially I will be your son now.”
“Yes I\'ll tell everyone tomorrow when the first years have been sorted. You should move your things upstairs into the Slytherin common room tomorrow before everyone arrives.”
“Ok, I cant wait.”
“One more thing, Harry. I know how close you were with Sirius and so all this summer I have been trying tnd and a way to get him out of that veil and I have worked out how to do it.”
“Really that\'s great.”
“The only thing is that we are the only ones who can try. I don\'t think Dumbledore would approve this if he found out.”
“When are we going to try?”
“Tonight. You see, there are less people here now so there is less chance of being found, when we get out of Hogwarts I can Apparate us into the Ministry of Magic, but I cannot get us into the room because it is protected. So we will have to find it by ourselves. Remember if we go ahead with this it will be at great rio ifo if you are scared I could go on my own.”
“No, I cant leave you.”

“Well if you are sure... But if anything goes wrong get yourself out of there, no questions asked. Are you ready to go? ” Snape said sternly.
“Yes I think so.” Harry alleged.
When they arrived at the Ministry they saw to there amazement that everyone had left so they just strolled right through. However, when they reached the door leading to the place where Sirius had died Harry took a deep breath and closed his eyes and after a few seconds the door flew open.
“How did you do that?” asked Snape puzzled.
“Do what?” Said Harry to absorbed in what to do next.
“Oh nothing it doesn\'t matter.” Snape replied.
They eventually found the room and as they stepped into the room both of them felt a nervous jolt in their stomachs.
“Ok, Crutatuast OplementarSnapSnape said with a sparkle in his eye.
“Nothing’s happened father,” Harry commented.
“Wait for it” Snape said happily.
“Wait for wha........” Harry started but at that moment he finished his sentence because there in front of him stood Sirius.
“Hello Harry, how did you get me out of that thing” said Sirius gratefully.
“Actually it’s not me you have to thank, it’s my father.” said Harry.
“James, but how?” asked Sirius.
“No not James, Snape,” said Harry amused.
“Sorry I thought you just said father, not evil greasy git.” Sirius said puzzled.
“I did said father, Sirius!” said Harry assuming Sirius knew about Snape.
“Let me take over Harry.” Snape interrupted, “You see I am Harry’s real father. Lily and I had a thing for each other for ages and we kept on seeing each other and I got her pregnant. I will tell you the full story later but while we are here we are still in danger. We must leave right away.”
“What are you saying?!?!” Sirius shouted.
“There is no time we must leave”
“You will not be leaving at all, Severus.” came a voice from a corner of the room.
Snape leaned over to Harry and said,
“Get yourself and Sirius out of here now.”
“Why” Harry asked.
“Voldemort, now go.” said Snape slightly afraid.
As if knowing what was going to happen Voldemort came out from the corner and said,
“Mr Potter, Sirius how nice it is to see you. By the way there is no point in trying to escape because I have my faithful Death Eaters guarding all entrances and escape routes.” Voldemort gave a shrill laugh and pointed his finger at Snape.
“Severus, come over here I want to talk to you.” bellowed Voldemort. Snape knew what Voldemort was going to do he had seen it happen all too often and this was the worst thing
that a Death Eater could do to betray his master. He was going to be punished severely but he didn\'t want Harry to know until it happened incase he did something stupid. Snape walked up to Voldemort bravely. Voldemort leaned towards Snape and said,
“You used to be my favourite, Severus. Why?” he leaned back without another word, pulled his wandout of his cloak and pointed it at Snape who looked straight into Voldemort’s red eyes.
Meanwhile three Death Eaters had stepped out of the dark corners of the room and confiscated Harry\'s wand ( Sirius did not have one) and threw the wand to another corner.
Harry and Sirius were grabbed, a way that they could not attempt to save Severus. Harry wiggled furiously. He had worked out what was going to happen while Sirius looked on dazed. Voldemort raised his hand ready to fire a spell to a helpless Snape and said,
“Atrio alomorius.” The spell hit Snape sending him flying backwards into the wall with great force. Trying hard to pretend that he wasn\'t too hurt for Harry\'s sake Snape got up, but
staggered and collapsed from the force of the spell. There was an unexpected bang and Voldemort stopped laughing at Snape’s pain and looked to a corner where still some Death Eaters had to e standing.
“What\'s happening?” Voldemort yelled and started to fear for his life which could be no longer in his own hands. There was no reply for a minute or so and then, suddenly, a young lady’s voice replied.
