Over Protective Brother
Hermione stood facing the closed casket, tears slide silently down her cheeks under her black veil. She couldn’t believe Ron was gone. She wish she could go back in time and undo his ill spoken phrase.
*Flash Back*
“Honey leave it be, Ginny is a big girl now and can date anyone she wants,” Hermione said trying to calm her irate Husband.
“But don’t you see Herm, it has to be a spell or potion or…or something. There is no way my baby sister would have anything to do with that git. I promise you, Malfoy won’t touch my sister ever again, I stake my life on that.” With that Ron stormed out, never noticing that he was glowing.
Hermione did though and knew what it meant. She tried to fire call Ginny but she wasn’t at home, nor was she at work. She even tried to fire call Draco but still she had no luck, finally she tried Harry and was explaining to him when a crying Ginny showed up. Hermione fell to her knees and cried clutching her sister in law.
*End Flash Back*
It turned out Ginny and Draco was having lunch at the Three Broom Sticks when Ron showed up. He had started ranting right away and when Draco placed his around Ginny shoulders he just stopped mid sentence and fell. His death was ruled an oath gone wrong.
Hermione placed one last kiss on the top of the casket and headed out to the reception.
“My condolences Mrs. Weasley,” came the seductive voice of Severus Snape. He had survived the war due to an anti-venom potion of his own creation that he took before every meeting.
“Thank you, Professor.”
“Severus, I am no longer your Professor.” Holding out his arm, “May I escort you to the reception?”
“Of Corse Pro-Severus,” was Hermione’s tired reply.
It would be another year before Severus asked Hermione out and a few more for him to ask her to become Mrs. Snape but when he did, she said yes to both.
A.N. Well I don't know how many times Ron has died so far(this will be chapter 59 but we had a few non story chapters so its less than that) but each way was interesting or silly (bother bother bother...hehe I was laughing for ten miniutes with that one.) This got stuck in my head when I was looking at the Draco/Ginny pairing so I figured I would kill Ron at least one more time.
