Ok so yeah RL kinda sucks at the min. My mum just got made redundant and diagnosed with something new and crappy plus at the minute she's pretty much crippled with her arthritis so it sucks all round for her and since she's not well my dad's taking his crappy attitude out on me instead *sigh* luckily after years of pratice it pretty much just rolls off me

Anyway on the upside my sexy new corset came today!! So that made me happy XD
That and I'm bored as hell so I thought I'd put up the new chapter
It's only a short one I know but never mind
I might put the next one up tommorrow as that's even shorted but it's an important filler [and another piece of fantastic spur of the minute ad-libbing!]
In my notebook I've just written something that I'm not entirely sure was a good idea... oh well I refuse to get rid of anything so I'll just have to MAKE it work!

“You’ve got to be kidding me?!” he said, looking in shocked disbelief at the other two occupants of the room who were sat on the couch across from him.

“Nope,” Harry said with a smile.

“Bonded?”

“Yep.”

“Is this all some kind of big joke or did I pass out from blood loss and this is all just one really screwed up dream?”

“No. We are indeed bonded and very happy about it,” Severus said.

For the last hour they had sat in the living room, Draco telling them about everything that had happened to him over the summer, Harry and Severus promising him that they would do everything in their power to prevent him from going back there. Harry had also made Draco promise to stop cutting himself, instead giving him the option of working through the rough times by training with them. With that agreed upon, the issue of Severus and Harry could no longer be ignored and so the lengthy process of explaining everything from Harry’s life to their wholly unexpected relationship had begun. By the time they were done, Draco’s mouth had dropped so far that Harry was sure that he was trying to catch birds, not just flies.

“Well that’s… unexpected,” he said, finally closing his mouth.

“Even I’ll toast to that,” Harry laughed, ignoring the look Severus gave him.

“So who knows about this?”

“Including you? Errr… that would be seven people and it’s going to stay that way isn’t it,” he voice dropping to a quiet, deadly tone, that brokered no argument as to what would happen if Draco were to tell anyone their secret.

“Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone. After everything the both of you have been through you deserve this at the very least.”

“I must say that you are taking this remarkably well Draco,” Severus said.

“What can I say? I’m jealous I suppose but I’m happy for you Uncle Severus. I want what you two have. You’re my godfather and you’ve always been kind to me and I love you for that. I wasn’t lying about what I said earlier either Potter when I said that I’ve always wanted to be your friend. I didn’t even know who you were to start with but I’ll admit that after I did realise I wanted to be friends with you for that reason. Over the years though… I’ve watched how you are with your friends and the others around you. I know that you’d defend your friends against anything and there’s an ease between you that I’ve never experienced. All the while I’ve been growing up, even here in Slytherin, you’re alone. You look out for number one and that’s it. You don’t make close friends, only alliances and acquaintances that can help you later on. Blaise is the closest thing I have to a friend and even then we’re not like you are with Weasley and Granger. I want friends that I can really laugh and joke with, that’ll help me if I need them… and I want love,” he said quietly, silence descending on them.

“You know, I was nearly in Slytherin,” Harry said quite suddenly, breaking the silence as they looked at him with a mixture of shock and surprise, making him laugh into his tea.

“Pardon?” said Severus.

“The hat couldn’t decide on whether to put my in Gryffindor or Slytherin. In the end I asked it to make me a lion since I’d only heard bad things about the people that ended up in Slytherin. Something about bad boys and evil men,” he muttered, watching them. “Funny really. Whoever told me that must have got there sources wrong, because it looks like not everyone from Slytherin is that bad, after all I’ve got a snake for a lover now and one for a friend,” he said with a smile at Draco.

“You mean it?” Draco asked, hope shining in his eyes.

“Yup. Welcome to the gang,” he said, sticking his hand out.

As Draco shook it he smiled. He had a real friend, one that wasn’t just trying to use him for their own means. It gave him a warm feeling inside that he’d never experienced before.

“You know most of the sixth and seventh years in Slytherin are being trained to join the Dark Lord as soon as they graduate. There are a few though, Pansy and Blaise included, that want nothing to do with it. The thing is that as soon as the rest find out that we want nothing to do with it, they’ll turn on us. The younger years won’t be too much of a problem as a lot of them are already starting to make friends in other houses but the top two years are too set in their ways. They’ve been brainwashed and we’ll just be seen as traitors. I don’t want to think about what they might do to us,” he said.

“I’ll talk to the Headmaster. He should be able to sort you out some accommodation and protection, ok?” Severus said, refilling their cups with tea.

“I’ll back you up as well,” Harry said.

“Thank you, that means a lot.”

“You should start training with us as well. Meet me tomorrow night at eight in the room next door to here. Knock and I’ll let you in. Ron and Hermione will be there so you’re going to need to play nice,” Harry smiled.

“I will, don’t worry. I’d like to be their friend as well.”

For the next hour they sat and talked about meaningless things, concreting their new friendship. Dobby brought them some food after a while, Draco receiving a shock when the house elf popped into the room. After a quick round of explanations everything was smoothed out and not long after that Draco felt strong enough to return to his dorm, under strict instructions that should he feel unwell he was to return immediately. He was also sent away with a small arsenal of potions and orders on how to use them should he need to. Once he’d left, Severus pulled Harry up and took him through to the bedroom, stripping them both of their clothes before crawling into bed with him. Wrapping his arms around him, he pulled Harry flush against his chest and spooned around him, twining their legs together.

“Are you ok?” he murmured, carding his fingers through the silky raven locks.

“Yeah, I’m fine,” he sighed.

“Sure?”

“Yeah. We can help him, can’t we Sev?”

“We’ll do everything we can Harry. He’s my godson, I won’t let him go through that.”

“I knew Lucius was cruel but I never thought he’d do that, not to his own son.”

“There is nothing that Lucius will not do to gain favour with the Dark Lord.”

“I’m just glad we got to him before he had to go back to that. Can I stay here tonight?” he mumbled, running his fingers softly up and down the arm that was over his waist, feeling his eyelids growing heavier by the second.

“Of course you can. I’ll make sure you’re up on time.”

“Thanks Sev. I love you.”

“And I you my Harry,” he said, feeling Harry’s breathing start to even out as he drifted off. Not long after he followed him, their hands entwined over his smaller lovers heart.

Werewolf Mistress -- lol i liked the last two books it's just that when it comes to this story... well i don't believe in their exhistance!! yeah poor poor draco

Amanda Rose -- nope sorry so Right of Retribution this time. Although it was horrible what Lucius did it wasn't bad enough for that law to work... besides i need the bastard alive for the end!

Kurai -- yeah happyville doesn't come back for quite a while i just realised... oh well never mind everyone needs a bit of angst

Nat -- Yeah pretty crappy home life really but don't worry things to get better for him, I promise!

Dolly -- I copped out, sowwy :( at the time i really couldn't be othered to write it all out but the explanation chapter to ron and hermione kind makes up for it instead

mis -- no don't fight me for him... pwease :( *huggles sev closer* i needs him so i can finish! glad your liking draco so far, wasn't ever really sure about his part to begin with... seems to have panned out alright though

hawkswench -- well i do have that design drawn up i just haven't been able to get on the other comp and get it scanned yet... hopefully tommorrow and yeah i should think that harry ends up wearing sev's boxers a lot of the time XD

ladyroo88 -- sorry i have to torture in order to make it better for them later on! he will get some warm fluffies later honest with a kind and warm lover all to himself :) so the draco torture is pretty much over for now... harry on the other hand...

DTDY -- sev'll be alright for now and yeah poor draco... moldyshorts pet *shudders* glad i got him out of there in time
