All the way

All three members of the Snape Family stayed in the Hospital wing that night.



The next day, the Weasleys, the Potters, the Lupins, Minerva and Lucius visited Hermione and Eileen. They all told Hermione how beautiful her daughter was and how lucky she was.



Finally, they went, leaving Hermione, Severus, Eileen and Lucius.



\"It seems that fate decided that you would be the only boy in this family, eh?\" Hermione smiled at the blonde who was holding her daughter.



Lucius looked up, \"Yeah, I guess.\"



\"What do you think about having a sort of sister?\"



\"Kind of...\" Lucius looked up frowning, \"Kind of proud I suppose.\"



\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"



Lucius left the Hospital wing, to go and do some homework, but he was called by Annie from down the corridor.



\"Hey,\" She said, after catching up with him.



\"Hi,\" Lucius smiled.



\"I guess you\'ll have no time for me now,\" Annie sighed, \"Seeing as you have a little sister to look after and all that.\"



Lucius put his arm around her, \"Of course I’ll have time for you, I promise I will.\"



Annie stopped and kissed his cheek, \"You\'re a love, you know that.\"



Smiling, she turned and hurried back down the corridor. Lucius touched his tingling cheek. She was one amazing girl, he though as he hurried after her.

\"You know,\" Hermione said as she finished changing back out of the night gown and into normal clothes, \"There\'s still one person who hasn\'t seen Eileen.\"



\"Oh,\" Severus\' smile just would not disappear, \"and who would that be?\"



Hermione looked up at him and said one word, \"Dumbledore.\"



\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"



Albus had to admit that being a portrait had its good and bad sides. On one hand, you didn\'t have to wash or bath, but on the other, the painted Lemon Drops didn\'t taste the same as real ones and he wasn\'t his usual all-knowing self.



Minerva was out, so it was a surprise when the door opened. What was behind the open door was an even bigger surprise.



Hermione Snape and her Husband entered the office, however, so did some one else.



\"Hermione! Severus!\" the portrait beamed, \"How good to see you, but it have yet to be introduced to your young companion.\"



\"Albus,\" Severus said slowly, \"Meet my daughter: Eileen Claire Snape.\"



Of course, Albus had known as soon as they had walked in that the baby was the couple’s daughter, but it was worth asking, just to hear the pride in Severus\' voice.



\"Ah,\" Albus smiled, \"She is beautiful, just like her mother.\"



Hermione smiled down at the girl in her arms, \"Thanks.\"



\"Severus,\" Albus looked to other the man, \"You are very lucky, but I think you know that.\"



Severus put his arm around his wife and smiled down at his daughter, \"I do, Albus... Believe me, I do.\"



The old man in the frame looked down on the young family. Hermione was glowing. Severus looked happy and slightly bemused. Eileen looked up in awe at her parents. Together, he knew they would be truly happy.



Albus looked back at Hermione and sighed.



She really had gone all the way.
