AN: I’m back with another chapter. I apologize for the time it has taken me to update. Over a foot of snow and it’s still coming, winter is such a pain in my bottom. Anyhow enough of my rambling, on with the next chapter of Ultimate Betrayal.




Ultimate Betrayal: Chapter 43


Avalon

“Severus it seems that Miss Black has flown the coup. Aiden and I have recently received a letter from the Goblins. She has revoked her sanctuary and returned to Britain.” Wyatt stated grimly as he held Aiden in his arms.

Severus was shocked at what Narcissa had done. And from the look on Aiden’s face, he was scared of what would likely happen now. “Do you know if she has been captured at this point?”

“Not that we know of. However, that does not mean that it hasn’t occurred. Britain’s so called Dark Lord and the Ministry has joined sides. So they can try and defend themselves against us.” Wyatt sighed as he watched the Potion Masters face.

“So from what I gather we are going to take precautions and assume that Narcissa has already told of Aiden’s former identity.”


Wyatt nodded, “Yes, the precautions and alerts have already been sent. More guards will be stationed around everyone here. I fear that they may try to take Aiden while still in America. On that note, I need to know if you will talk to Mr. Malfoy or me.”

“I shall discuss the problem with Draco myself. Was they anything else we needed to discuss?” Severus remarked as he watched both the King and Consort. Knowing what this would mean for everyone that had no clue who Aiden really was.


“Very well. And no there is nothing to discuss at this moment.” Wyatt stated calmly.

Severus nodded sharply before walking out of the room. He needed to find Draco and explain what had happened to his mother, before the boy realized she was missing. And knowing Draco it would be soon, for the two of them had dinner together every other day.

Once Severus left, Aiden turned around to straddle his husbands lap. Wrapping his arms around him as he laid his head on his shoulder. There were no words exchanged as they sat in silence, holding each other close.

Draco sat speechless as he listened to his Uncle Sev. He couldn’t believe his own mother would do something so ignorant. Not only did her actions put her in danger, but everyone else as well. Knowing that if she told who Aiden was then the Dark Lord would send someone after him. On the outside, his face was blank, but on the inside, his emotions were working non-stop. Fear was winning out with anger and shock following.

“Draco, are you alright?” Severus asked in concern as he looked upon his godson’s blank face, knowing that the young man was trying to keep from breaking down.

“Honestly? I’m afraid. What if she is caught and tells them all she knows. Not only will they be after Aiden but me as well. We’re not safe anymore are we Sev?”


“No one is safe now. What Narcissa has done as put everyone in danger? I feel that the King will make an announcement of what has occurred soon. Then we will just have to go from there. Draco I can not stress enough on your need to remain cautious, more so now than before.”


Draco nodded sharply before standing and heading through the garden gate and out of site. Now alone Severus closed his eyes trying to get his thoughts together. He knew that Draco was afraid and hoped that the boy did not do anything that would put him in harms way.

At dinnertime, the whole Halliwell sister’s were sitting around the table waiting for Wyatt and Aiden. When a letter flamed in before them. Piper and the others looked at the letter then each other. This was not the first time that Wyatt and Aiden had declined having dinner with them. What surprised them was being told to meet the two after dinner in the royal conservatory.

“Piper?” Phoebe whispered as she pulled the letter back from her sister to read it again.

“Something has them worried. You can tell by the way it was written.” Piper exclaimed as she looked down at her plate.

“You’re right Piper, that letter is too formal. Normally Wyatt would just say ’hey we’re not coming’ or ’see you tomorrow, enjoy your dinner’. Having to see a letter like this has me not only worried but nervous as well.” Phoebe exclaimed before handing the letter to Paige again.

“Well let’s eat then we can find out what’s going on. Because we all know, that Wyatt will not tell us until then. And we may not even get all the information later Piper. It could come down to you, Piper forcing the boys to come out with that’s going on to begin with.” Paige stated as she folded the letter back up before laying it beside her.

“I wonder if I should call Leo and have him come as well?” Piper sighed not wanting to deal with her husband.

Phoebe and Paige glanced at each other for a moment. Both knowing that Leo had been avoiding their sister for a long time. Since she found out a few things. Things that neither Leo nor the boys had spoken about. It was as if they were trying to avoid certain subjects. Phoebe was the only one that knew about Leo’s avoidance with only marrying Piper instead of bonding with her. And that was one thing she had refused to tell her sisters about. Everything else she had talked with her sisters about. Piper’s question went unanswered as they began eating all three lost in their own thoughts.

They knew about Chris and Draco courting, but that was after Piper had found out they had slept together. The two had kept their relationship very quite until after that. Now however the two were not seen without the other. Then they had the issue with Wyatt and Aiden’s immortality. Which the two had only scratched the surface with when they finally told them.


What had made it so bad was that Wyatt had explained that it was because of him being the King of Magic. That they had been gifted immortality by Magic, herself and that was the end of it. But the three sisters knew there was more to it than that and tried to push the issue until Wyatt had put his foot down. And stated that he refused to go into detail until the time was right. Problem was that the time never seemed to be right. And when they had finished their dinner, the three of them moved quickly toward their destination. Hoping that Wyatt would give them an answer to the questions, they all wanted. Little did they know was that this meeting would not.

Conservatory

Wyatt and Aiden stood side by side looking out at one of the gardens in silence. Both not knowing what would happen next, but had a feeling it would be anything but pleasant. Turning around slowly as they heard the door open and shut revealing the three people, they needed to see.


“Mom, Aunt Phoebe, Aunt Paige please have a seat.” Wyatt stated as he motioned for them toward the chairs closet to them.

Once they were seated, Wyatt pulled Aiden toward him. Waiting to see which one of the three would speak up first. Both of them knowing it would not take long.

“What’s going on Wyatt?” Piper exclaimed not liking the looks on either of the boy’s faces. While Phoebe and Paige remained silent, for they too wanted to know what the nature of this meeting was about.

“Miss Black has defected from Avalon and returned to Britain.” Wyatt sighed waiting for the explosion.

“WHAT!” The three sisters yelled, causing Wyatt to wince and Aiden to flinch at the loudness.

“She has left according to the Goblins. We have no idea if their Ministry or the Dark Lord has captured her. What makes this worse is that she knew of Aiden’s previous identity and as we speak someone from Britain my be heading our way.” Wyatt announced.

“What do you mean that she knew of Aiden being Harry Potter?” Paige exclaimed in confusion, she thought that just the Ministry and their family knew of this.

“Just what Wyatt said. Narcissa knew who I was the day I meet them in Gringotts. And she and Draco were granted sanctuary.” Aiden whispered not taking his eyes off the floor.


Piper was fuming inside. Not only had the two put their lives in danger but because of this piece of information everyone else. Shaking her head, she stood up quickly before storming out of the room with out a word. Not seeing the look of horror on her son’s face or the tear that ran down Aiden’s cheek.

“Wyatt why would you grant them sanctuary if they knew who Aiden had been?” Phoebe whispered, wanting to know why they had done so.

“Granting them sanctuary kept Aiden’s secret safe. The Great Mother gave me a choice. Either grant them both sanctuary or send them away. Even though Mr. Malfoy was the only one completely trust worthy at the time.” Wyatt tried to explain, but it was hard knowing that he had upset his mother.

“You should have just sent them away. Or sent them to the Minister. That way Aiden’s secret would have been safe and this would never have happened.” Paige exclaimed before she too walked out.

“What about you Aunt Phoebe, are you going to storm out as well? I already told Dad and let’s just say, he had a few choice words as well.” Wyatt asked, he was tired and knew that Aiden was as well.

“No, I’m not. But Wyatt I understand where everyone is coming from. You made a bad choice and now everyone is going to pay for it. But what I want to know is, what are you going to do now?”

“Extra guards have been placed and no one will leave Avalon. Secretary Jengens has already been notified of what has occurred so that end has been dealt with. For now all we can do is continue on as we have been and see what happens.” Wyatt stated with conviction.

“I see, well let me know if anything changes. I’m going to check on the kids and my husband. Because they weren’t at dinner, something about spending time with their dad.” Phoebe exclaimed as she then hugged them both before leaving.

“That went well.” Aiden replied with sadness.

“Yes.” Wyatt sighed as he orbed them back to their quarters.

Hogwarts School


“Avada Kedavra!” Snarled Voldemort with malice watching on his throne beside the Demon Lord Artemis as the late Lady Malfoy now Black took her last breath.


“I think we should send your son a message Lucius.” Voldemort hissed as he cast a stasis charm on the body.


“My Lord?” Lucius smirked as he looked from his dead ex-wife’s body toward the Dark Lord.

“Have her boxed at shipped back to America Lucius. To show Draco what happens to those who defy me.” Voldemort exclaimed, “Then return here, I have a mission for you. Bring Nott and Avery with you.”

“Yes My Lord.” Lucius replied with a bow before floated Narcissa’s battered body away.


Artemis watched in concern. This was not what he and the Counsel agreed too. They did not want to get involved with the King of Magic. Now it seemed as though that was exactly what was happening. Not only was the King involved but also the Consort was no other than Harry Potter under another name.

“Who would have thought the boy would be living with the King of Magic himself. The thought as having the King under my control. All I need to do is kidnap Potter and everything will fall completely into place.” Voldemort chuckled coldly not once looking at the Demon Lord beside him.


That shook Artemis out of his thoughts. He couldn’t believe how foolish this mortal was becoming. To try at take on the King by taking his husband was suicide. “Foolish mortal, if you go after the King’s Consort you do it alone. Not one of my Demons will help you.”

“We have a deal! You and your would help me fight this war.” Voldemort hissed in anger at the Demon beside him.


“Yes we had a deal to help you fight wizards. There was nothing in the contract that stated we would help you fight the King of Magic.” Artemis smirked coldly before standing up making his way toward the exit.

And when he was at the door, Artemis looked up at the mortal Dark Lord and exclaimed. “Mortal you should have read the full contract. For it you had you would have notice the clause at the end saying. ‘This contract will become null and void if the King of Magic enters this war.’ Have a good day Dark Lord.”


Voldemort screamed as the Demon Lord walked out. Causing the walls of the castle to shake. Before Lucius and the others entered the room and fell to their knees before him.


“My Lord.” The three whispered as the Dark Lord released his rage.



“Lucius, Nott, Avery you three will go to America and bring me Harry Potter. Also known as Aiden Kage. I don’t care how you get him just make sure he is still alive upon arrival.” Voldemort snarled out at them.

“Yes My Lord.” “At once, My Lord.” “As you will it My Lord.” Came the three replies before leaving the Dark Lord alone again in the room.
