Part 5

Hermione was in complete shock. So much so that she didn\'t move until Minerva McGonagall gasped as she entered behind her.

\"Gran!\" Susana screamed.

Harry quickly moved off of her and scrambled for a blanket to cover their bodies.

Minerva covered her mouth. \"I do not even know what to say. I want the both of you dressed and in my office in five minutes.\"

Susana bit her lip. \"Gran...\"

\"Five minutes, Susana.\" She turned and left the room.

\"I am so sorry! I should have knocked or warned you or...\" Hermione apologized.

\"No, it\'s not your fault. We should have charmed the door before...\" Susana looked at Harry. He appeared to be blushing. \"Hermione, do you think you could go...\" She pointed to the door. \"...so we can get dressed.\"

Hermione gave a laughing grin as she saw how uncomfortable her best friend was. \"Sure.\" She turned to the door and exited the room.

\"Please tell me that didn\'t just happen.\" She dropped her head into her hands.

Harry put his arm around her. \"I would, but that would be lying. And I never want to lie to you.\" He kissed her sweetly. \"Now, we\'d better get a move on or Professor McGonagall may come back looking for us.\"

Susana and Harry sat in the leather chairs in front of Minerva\'s desk.

Minerva sat back in her chair with her elbow on the arm, her thumb hooked under her chin and her finger brushing her lips.

\"Gran...\"

She put her hand up to silence her. \"I am very disappointed ... in the both of you.\" She picked up her quill and began to fiddle with it. \"As your head of house, I could expel you.\"

Harry and Susana looked at each other.

\"But I\'m not. Now without going into detail, what brought the two of you together so intimately so quickly?\"

\"My scar.\" Harry swallowed. \"Last week, Susana brushed her thumb over it and I felt, I don\'t know, a spark of electricity. Tonight, I told her about my life and when she touched my scar this time, she felt it and then...\"

Minerva took a deep breath as she nodded. \"Oh dear.\" She stood. \"Follow me please.\"

They did as they were told.

She led them through the castle and to the entrance to Dumbledore\'s office.

\"Gran, no, please.\" Tears filled Susana\'s eyes. \"We can\'t tell Albie.\"

Minerva gave an apologetic look to her granddaughter. \"I\'m afraid we have no choice. ... Earwax.\" She opened the stairway.

\"But Daddy\'ll find out.\" Tears fell. \"He already thinks I\'m a slut.\"

Harry squeezed her hand. \"We\'re in this together.\"

She swallowed hard as they entered the stairway. She felt as if her world was closing in on her. \"I can\'t do this. Please don\'t make me do this.\"

\"It\'s out of my hands, dear.\" Her grandmother stated.

Dumbledore was sitting behind his desk, writing something on long piece of parchment. When he saw the state Susana was in he stood. \"My darling girl, what has you so upset?\"

She let go of Harry\'s hand and wrapped her arms around herself.

\"Why don\'t the two of you go and sit over there.\" Minerva pointed to the sitting area. \"Albus and I must speak first.\"

Harry put his arm around her and led her to the overstuffed couch.

Once they were out of earshot, the elder witch began to speak. \"It\'s happened, Albus. The prophecy has begun.\"

He was stoic for a few minutes. \"I believe now is a good time for a family meeting.\" He walked over to his granddaughter and sat next to her. He looked at Harry. I must apologize to you. Once again, I kept something from you for what I thought was for your own good and once again, I was wrong.\"

Harry had a look of confusion on his face. \"I don\'t understand.\"

\"You will ... soon.\" He took Susana\'s hand. \"I\'m afraid that we\'ve been hiding something from you as well, my dear.\"

\"What does this have to do with Harry and I making love?\" She bit her bottom lip.

\"Soon, my precious girl, soon.

After an hour, Susana and Harry were still clueless as to what was going on.

Her stomach growled.

\"I\'m hungry as well.\" Harry smiled. He stood and walked over to where Dumbledore and McGonagall were. \"Susana and I haven\'t had anything to eat since lunch. May we have permission go down to the kitchen and have a bite.\"

\"By all means.\" Dumbledore clapped his hands and a doorway opened. \"This will lead you directly to the kitchen.\"

\"Thank you, sir.\"

Harry went back to Susana, took her hand and led her through the doorway.

They took their time eating. Susana wasn\'t really in the mood to rejoin her grandparents in the Head Master\'s office.

\"What do you suppose is happening?\" She asked Harry.

Harry shook his head. \"I\'m not sure. I overheard McGonagall mention something about sending someone into Hogsmeade to pick someone up, but I couldn\'t hear who.\"

\"Begging your pardon, Harry Potter, sir.\"

\"Hello Dobby.\" Harry greeted the liberated house elf. \"Have you met my girlfriend, Susana?\"

\"It is an honor and a pleasure to meet the girl who has captured Harry Potter\'s heart.\" He bowed deeply. \"I have been sent by the great and powerful Head Master to inform both Harry Potter and Miss Susana Snape to hurry back to his office.\"

\"Thank you, Dobby.\" Harry looked at his girlfriend.

\"I guess this is it.\" She took a deep breath and stood. Taking Harry by the hand she looked down at him. \"In case I don\'t get a chance to tell you this later...\" She bit her bottom lip. \"I love you. I think I\'ve loved you from the moment I saw you.\"

He stood and wrapped his arms around her. \"I love you too.\"

\"Thank you.\"

A loud sobbing cry broke the moment.

Harry looked at the elf. \"What\'s wrong Dobby?\"

\"I\'m sorry sir. This is just such a beautiful moment for Dobby to be witnessing.\"

The teenagers smiled.

Harry then kissed her. \"Ready for whatever\'s coming.\"

\"As long as you\'re by my side.\" She nodded. \"Yeah.\"

Susana felt queasy when she saw who was waiting for them. \"Momma?\" She whispered.

Emily McGonagall turned to see her daughter. Severus had his arms around her waist.

\"What\'s going on?\" Susana looked at everyone in the room.

\"That\'s what I\'d like to know! I was pulled from a Slytherin Potions tutorial and told to meet my wife in Hogsmeade and bring her immediately to the castle. When we arrive, we are told to be patient. My patience is wearing.\" Severus said through clenched teeth.

\"Severus!\" Emily patted his hand. \"Come here, baby.\" She reached her arms out to her daughter.

\"So what\'s this about? Has my daughter become a discipline problem so soon in the school year? Why was I summoned here?\"

Susana eyes grew wide. Before anyone could answer, she stepped out of her mother\'s arms and took the initiative. \"I came her to form some kind of relationship with my father. Pretty difficult since he doesn\'t want me here. I met someone and fell in love.\" She pointed back and forth between them. \"Mom, Harry, Harry, Mom.\"

They nodded at each other.

\"I know it\'s only been a week, but he\'s the most incredible person. Anyway, he...\" She pointed to Severus. \"for some reason, hates Harry and tried to force me to date one of his little snake house vipers named Draco Malfoy, whose father by the way is in prison for trying to murder Harry, Albie and a whole buncha other people.\" Her accent was getting stronger. \"Harry and I spent today in Hogsmeade with our roommates. Someone, must have followed us all over town because they sold a picture to the paper.\"

\"It was Colin Creevey, dear.\" Minerva told her.

\"Whoever. ... Anyway, the article said I bought a buncha lingerie. I bought underwear, yes, but I also bought socks, shoes and this sweater.\" She pointed to the sweater she was wearing. \"This Colin kid took a picture of us kissing, Daddy saw it and accused me of whoring around. We got in a fight and I asked him why he hates Harry and he wouldn\'t answer me. I was in my room and Harry came to see of I was okay. I asked him to tell me why everyone was so interested in his life and why a boy had an enemy and he did. Then, one thing led to another and we made love. Gran caught us and that\'s why you\'re here.\" She blew out a deep breath.

Snape\'s face grew red with anger.

\"I love your daughter!\"

\"And that\'s supposed to make everything better?! You violated my daughter!\"

\"He did not violate me!\" Susana jumped in her father\'s face.

\"Everyone sit down!\" Dumbledore ordered.

Susana finally noticed the actions of her parents. \"What\'s up with you two? For a couple who\'s divorced, you sure don\'t act like it.\"

Minerva put her hand on her shoulder. \"It\'s all a part of what we must talk about.\"

Harry pulled her close to him and sat on the couch. He could feel her heartbeat racing. To comfort her, he simply rubbed the back of her hand with his thumb.

Once everyone was settled, Dumbledore began. \"Before either of you were born, your lives were predestined to join. A prophecy stating the two of you would one day be the most powerful witch and wizard who ever lived was made shortly after Harry\'s parents were killed. Voldemort\'s followers were still many and we did not want anything to happen to you. When you were two, we decided as a family that for your safety, you and your mother should be as far away from here as possible. Your father was devastated. He blamed himself.\"

\"Because you were one of Voldemort\'s followers.\" Susana addressed her father.

Severus didn\'t answer. He simply looked down at his hands.

Emily took up the tale. \"We thought it would be best if everyone thought that we were divorced.\"

\"Wait a minute. You\'re still married?\"

Emily nodded.

\"What about Martin? I thought you were serious?\"

\"Martin is a dear friend. He and Severus were friends at Hogwarts and he\'s known our secret for a long time.\"

Susana was getting pissed. \"So you\'ve all been lying to me my entire life!\" She looked at her grandfather. \"Even you Albie?\" She looked at Minerva. \"And you Gran?\" She stood and looked at her father. \"You were right. I never should have come here. If I hadn\'t, I\'d still trust my family!\" She ran out of the office door and down the spiral staircase.

Harry shook his head and followed after her.
