Disclaimer:
I don't own Harry potter and I make no money off of this.
With this ring...
Okay, this first part requires some explaination. I have plans for Hermione that have not only been aproved by Aqua_Star, but cannonized in her story as well. You will all see these plans start to come to fruition in this chapter. This is only the start. Also, I incorrectly mentioned that it was Saturday in my last chapter when it was infact Friday, story-wise. This takes place Saturday morning, shortly after awakening. Aqua has aproved of the starting scenario, so I am not taking liberties with Tia. And many thanks to Nari-chan for reviewing. Much appreciated, and I will try to live up to expectations.

Hermione's POV
'I have been stuck in here all night, and it is safe to say that it is incredibly boring. I have read all of my books several times since I awoke and now I really need to get out of here. I realize that Tia doesn't want me to see her mating, I get that. But I really need to go! Something in here feels all wrong! I feel so hot and bothered! I'm even blushing so heavily!'
I began to pound on the door as I thought this, needing desperatly to leave the room. Something was calling to me, and I felt so compelled to go to it, but the door was in my way!
"Tia, please let me out! I feel all weird in here! I need to come out, PLEASE!"
The door swung open and I saw an embarassed Tia as well as her mates (all thankfully clothed) looking at me.
"I'm sorry, Herms! I forgot to undo the locking charm on the door last night."
I rushed out of the room, my body feeling flushed and hot. I was panting and if felt like there was a fire inside of me. I had been noticing smells more and more, and I thought that maybe the smell of sex in Tia's rooms was getting to me. At that moment I noticed John Godheart standing by me.
"God, are you okay, Herm?" Tia's blue eyes were filled with concern.
"She's just fine, Tia. She's reacting to her mate being near her." God, I had never noticed how hot John was before. All of those sexy muscles under his blue shirt...
Draco sneered at me. "And you would know the mudblood is reacting because..."
John took that moment to defend me. "Don't call her that. She is a living being just like you." I swear I heard a low growl coming from him. Being beside him just made me feel so good.
Tia looked at Draco and John sternly. "Dragon, behave. John, don't growl at him, he's mine to growl at."
He wrapped his arm around me and I just pulled him in closer. He smelled so good, like a bonfire and cedar wood. Tia smirked at him as he just nodded. "She's yours, isn't she?" I personally had no idea what she was talking about, but John seemed to know.
"Yes. She is."

John's POV
I held Hermione close to me, loving the warmth of her body. I had seen that we would mate, and I knew it would be very soon. Her first transformation would be the first time. Then she would be able to change at will. She was very damaged, according to Tia. My mates and I would try our damnedest to show her she was special, and that we loved her no matter what. But first she had to willingly acknowledge me as her mate, or we wouldn't get anywhere with her.
"I would be more than willing to help her. And Jess and the twins as well. She's so beautiful."
All of us were walking down to get something to eat in the Great Hall. Tia had agreed to come with us to my old home and help me to discover its secrets. However, Jess had started to act neurotic recently, and was holding on to me, shaking. Since luna had told her about her sister Ava, poor Jess had been a wreck. She claimed to be seeing a young girl who resembled herself at age 13. We all decided that it was for the best that we bring all of our mates along to help us in our search. After eating we all headed down to Hogsmede, even Hermione coming along. Her smarts would probably be able to help us. I kept looking over at the twins. In the night I had seen Parvati giving birth in the future, with Padma and I holding her hands. I had told them when I woke up and, while Padma sighed with relief that she wasn't pregnant, Parvati seemed to be excited, like she had been hoping it was her. She seemed to be very motherly, and I had a good feeling that she would make a wonderful parent. During the bath that Parvati, Padma, Jess and I had taken, we all kept feeling her stomach, knowing that a new life was growing inside of her.
As we reached the house, Draco, Blaze and Padma shivered, creeped out by the obvious spookyness of an abandoned home. It didn't help that we all knew that my mother was killed here. We approached the wall where the secret entrance was and I opened it, being bathed in the firelight of the ever-burning torches. As we went further in, Jess began to let go of me, the same sense of wonder and welcoming most likely overtaking her. We came upon the word wall and I touched it, running my fingers against the scratches. Suddenly the four doors disappeared and the wordwall split open, revealing a new chamber housed within. Draco, Blaze and Padma were reluctant to follow the rest of us inside, but when threatened with punishment by Tia and I came along just the same.
The inside of the chamber housed several large table-like structures. Each one had a name in the dragon language, as well as a marking that read "God-King". There was a pillar in the center with an intricate inscription.
"We, the Dovah Kings of old, are here to guide those who have the Dovah blood of the kings. Our history shall be passed to them as well as the ancient gifts recieved by the first King, Durnehviir, whose body shall live forever more."
Tia looked at me as I read the inscription aloud. "An infiri King?"
Jess shook her head, understanding the inscription like I did. "It's an undead King. His name is Durnehviir. Like most Dovah names, his can be broken into three parts. 'Dur' means 'Curse', 'neh' means 'never', and 'viir' means 'dying'. He wasn't dead when he was cursed."
We all heard a voice around us. ~Clever little girl. And beautiful. It is a shame she is already taken.~
I glared at the source of the voice, a white Dovah with silver highlights around his lips and on the leather of his white bat-like wings. He was tall, at the very least 7 feet. Jess and I changed into our Dovah forms, still dwarved by him. He wore a purple cape and silvery armor that covered even his tail. It had intricate patterns etched into it in the shape of old japanese or maybe chinese symbols. It was definitly the armor of a samuri without the helmet. He looked very out of place in this ancient stone chamber.
~Durneviir, I presume. Keep your hands off of my mates or there will be hell to pay.~ I had already noticed Tia in her beautiful Other form, her white hair with silver hilights whipping in the breeze her magic created, her white angelic wings with silver tips fully extended, ready to propell her forward at the first sign of danger.
"And mine."
Durnehviir laughed heartily at that. ~My dear children, I would never dream of taking your mates from you. It is I who wishes to guide you, much as Lilinoxa guides the Other queen to her destiny. And before you ask, yes, I know of Lil very well. We were... close... a very long time ago. I simply wish to pass along the gift of knowledge to my decendants, that it may help in the future.~
"I am not your descendant. I am an Other."
~You are correct in stating that you are not my descendant. You are, however, of a Dovah line as well as an Other line. You are the child of a seer, and all seers descend from Dovah. Enough talk. My descendants need only place their hands on the pillar before them to recieve the gift of knowledge.~
Jess and I warrily did as we were told, and were amazed as beams of dancing light began shooting out from the inscribed structures in the many floored chamber and twisted and flowed their way to us. We instantly knew the history of the Dovah race. Our mates looked on in shock, as did Tia and her mates.
~Now step forward to recieve your gifts.~ We did as we were asked, and Durnehviir took out a knife and cut into his hand, allowing the blood to flow into a bowl on the pedestal beside him. He sat down in a stone throne and gestured towards the bowl. ~Use your knowledge to create our weapon for the Other.~
I stepped forward and placed my hands above the bowl, concentrating. As I did so, a small circle began to appear in the blood. It grew at the bottom of the bowl untill a crystal formed at the top of it, at which point the ring boiled to the surface of the blood. It was red as blood, but it looked also to be solid as metal and the stone was semi-translucent, much like a round ruby.
~Take it, and present it to her.~
It felt cool to the touch, and I again did as I was told. Tia took it, and I knew she was more than a little creeped out at the fact that she was essentially holding solid blood in her hand.
~You will need this in your fight. The initial nine will be needed to enhance the abilities of you and your mates if you are to banish the blights once and for all.~
Tia looked at him. "You said blights. You are talking about the Damon, correct?"
He smilled at that. ~Yes and no. You will know more when you next speak to Lil. Ask her about the Forsaken.~
