The next morning when Harry woke up, Snape was no longer there. He frowned and got up throwing on the pyjama from yesterday. He walked into the living room and to his surprise found Hermione and Ron there. They were sitting on the sofa and obviously felt uncomfortable.
When Hermione saw Harry she ran over and hugged him.
„Are you alright Harry? I was so worried about you.“ She blinked a few tears away and Harry could not help but beam at her. She had been one of the first people to show him kindness and he would never forget that.
Ron cleared his throat from the sofa and Harry turned around.
„Eh mate, I wanted, I mean I didn´t mean what I said yesterday.“ He sighed. „But I mean do you have any idea what you got yourself into? This thing you have with Snape?“
Harry sat down next to him.
„I have found a place where I feel like I belong you know? I was not forced into this or tricked- I did it because I wanted to.“
„But Harry, this is more serious than marriage. These kind of bonds link two people for eternity. Maybe in two years you wake up and realize you no longer wish to...“ He trailed off. „I love you mate and I am not saying that I think this is necessarily a bad thing, I am just not sure if you are going to be happy with this.“
Harry cocked his head. „But right now I am happy.“ When Ron winced he sighed. „I really love him and I want to be with him and even if you do not believe it, he loves me back. And that is all that counts for me.“
Ron stared at him until Hermione nudged him into his side. The witch smiled warmly.
„If you are happy we are happy too.“
And that was the last that was spoken about that. The next years passed with Harry defeating Voldemort, finishing his NEWTs and dividing his time between his friends and Severus. And he had to admit he had made the right decision back then and things had turned out well.
„How does it feel to be a fully educated wizard?“ Severus asked from the doorway.
Harry stared at himself in the mirror wearing his uniform for the last time and smiled gently.
„Perfect.“
Severus embraced him from behind and carefully did his tie once again.
„We want you to look good tonight at the feast.“
Harry pressed the other wizard´s arms against his chest.
„I will always look good- with you by my side Master.“
Severus liked the sound of that.
„And you will always be my pet- cared for and loved.“

AN: Okay this turned out to be rather fluffy at the end but I cannot help myself. I might consider writing a sequel, so tell me what you think alright?
