A/N: Ok just want to start off by saying that I am so sorry, I’ve been working on my book as of late and a lot of drama has been going on between me and my hubby, but things are better now and hopefully I can finish this story.
Oh and on that note, I hope to see more reviews from my readers, thank you Crazy Pedantic for your loyal reviews.

“Thank you, Ginny for agreeing to go out with me.” Ginny just nodded and looked towards Hermione who was about to break the glass she was holding, Blaise followed her line of sight and cleared his throat. “Sorry, Granger, I knew you wouldn’t come if I told you it was Draco, here, who was to accompany me.”
Hermione looked up at him and smiled slightly. “It’s ok. I should have known since you guys were almost attached at the hip in school.”
Draco smirked at her. “So you watched us in school then?”
She curled her lip up and rolled her eyes. “No, I just notice my surroundings and you were nothing more then an ugly ornament in my way.”
Blaise could tell Draco was furious. “Now, now let’s not ruin this date. If you two can’t say anything nice to each other then don’t say anything at all.”
Ginny laughed. “I doubt that will happen Zabini. Hermione is too outspoken to keep her mouth shut.”
Hermione glared at her. “Am not!”
“Are too.”
“Am not, so shut up.”
The men stared at them for a moment and then started laughing. Both women looked up at them and glared. “Shut up.” they said together.
Blaise and Draco turned to them. “Maybe we should go somewhere else. I’m not sure a restaurant is the right place for this type of date.” Blaise offered
“And where would we go Mr. Zabini?”
“Well Miss Granger I was thinking we could go to this new club in downtown.” she blanched and he chuckled. “Don’t worry it’s not one of those wild dance clubs, it’s more mellow. We can go and get some drinks and just talk, hopefully without a lot of hostility.”
She huffed and looked towards Ginny. “I guess we can go, if that’s ok with everyone?” Blaise could see her pleading with Ginny through her eyes.
“I’m up for it. Maybe I can find another girl to talk to.” Draco said with a wink at Blaise.
Ginny shook her head. “I don’t know. I mean if you don’t want to go Hermione then you can head back to your place if you want, I’ll see you there after.”
“No, no if everyone wants to go I don’t want to spoil the fun, I’ll come too.”
Blaise smiled at her. “Thanks for being such a trooper.”
She rolled her eyes and stood up. “Come on so we can get this over with. I have work I need to finish for Monday.”
Draco smirked. “Still the workaholic-know-it-all, I see.”
She stuck her tongue out at him and turned back to Ginny, “It’s ok we can go, I still have tomorrow and Sunday to work on it.”
Ginny smiled at her and stood up and hugged her. “Cool, come on Blaise you’ll have to apparate us there.”
Blaise took her hand and put his other hand on Draco’s shoulder, who took Hermione’s hand. After the familiar tug they landed outside of what looked like a coffee shop that was closed.
“I don’t get it Blaise I thought you said that this was a club, this is just a worn down coffee shop.”
He smirked and reached for the door, right before their eyes a sign lit up saying “Welcome” in bright blue letters. “It’s only for witches and wizards, only once we touch the door can we walk in. I came here opening night. I had to for work.”
Ginny smiled up at him. “Oh that’s right you work for the sector of the Ministry that deals with new businesses. I applied there but they thought that since my father was so into the muggles that I would be too, naturally. But I’m not.”
Hermione yanked her hand away from Draco who was still holding it. “Yea, well they thought that since I was a muggle-born that I would be interested in the job, which I wasn’t. I want to be a lawyer, but no.”
“What? How can they do that to you guys? You’re war heroes, you should get whatever you wanted.” Draco stated.
Hermione shook her head but Ginny answered. “We are the lowly sidekicks to Harry and Ron that’s all. It doesn’t matter that without us they wouldn’t have been able to do anything at all, well I didn’t do much until the war but Hermione was with them all along.”
Blaise grabbed her hand and started dragging her through the door, “Ok enough chit-chat out here, let’s go in and find a table and order some drinks. I’m thirsty and it’s hot out here.”
They all laughed at his childish pout her had adopted and followed him in. A big burly man at the door stopped them and used his wand to mark their wrists with a twisted line they glowed and then sent them on their way.
Draco stopped at the bar. “You guys get a table I’ll get the drinks.” he turned back to the bar tender.
Ginny fell back into step beside Hermione. “I can’t believe he grabbed your hand.”
Hermione blushed. “Yeah and then the bloody wanker didn’t want to let it go once we landed. He better not try anything I don’t care if he was once called the Slytherin Sex God.”
Ginny laughed at her brown eyed friend. “Calm down, Mione, just relax and have fun.”
They took their seats at a big round table in the back, most of the club was tables, there was a small area in the back with a DJ and dance floor, but it seemed like it was meant for drinks and talking more than dancing, Hermione was glad for this. Ginny slide around it until she was seated near Blaise and left room for Draco beside Hermione. When Hermione realized it she glared at Ginny who only shrugged.
“So Blaise, if I decided that I liked you and wanted a second date with you, without anyone else, where would you take me?”
He smiled down at her and put his arm around her shoulders. “Depends on what type of girl you are. Do you like the romantic stuff or not?”
She smiled coyly. “I can.” she said batting her eyelashes.
“Merlin, if you two are going to act like that I’m going to get another table.” Draco said as he sat down beside Hermione.”
Blaise ignored him. “Well in that case I would take you to my favorite restaurant, Italian of course.”
She giggled and took a drink out of the glass Draco had placed in front of her. She sighed at the taste of the apples and cinnamon. “This is good, what is it?” she said turning her head towards Draco, but keeping her body towards Blaise.
“Cinnamon apple martini. I didn’t know how hard you ladies drink so I kept it simple.”
“Well their good.” Ginny said before turning back to Blaise. “I would like that, that second date you have planned in you little head,” she taped his temple. “I think I’ll take you up on that offer.”
He cocked an eyebrow at her. “Are you sure? We haven’t even started talking yet.”
She nodded. “I think I know you well enough.”
Draco barked in laughter. “Ha, all you know about him is what you heard of him in school. And of course now you know that he has the job you wanted or maybe it’s the money he has.”
Hermione stared at him shocked, she hadn’t been listening to their conversation much she had mainly been watching the people around her. But she had heard Draco’s statement, after her initial shock she reached over and slapped him across the face. “How dare you speak of my friend like that? Just because she isn’t as wealthy as you or Zabini gives you no right.” she pushed him. “Move, so I can get out.”
He grabbed her shoulders and pushed her back. “Just because you got away with hitting me in third year doesn’t mean you’ll get away with it now.” he leaned forward and kissed her passionately. She pushed at him but he wouldn’t let her move after a long moment he pulled away. “Merlin, I’ve wanted to do that since seventh year.”
She slapped him once again and pushed him out of the booth before storming out of the club. Ginny apologized to Blaise quickly and ran after her. “Hermione! Hermione wait up!”
She didn’t catch up to her until she was a block away from the club. “I can’t believe him.”
Ginny watched her as she paced back and forth on the corner of the street. “Why are you so mad? He’s hot!”
“So what! What gives him the right to kiss me like that?”
Ginny smiled. “So you think he’s hot. You think Draco is hot! Wait till I tell Harry.”
Hermione stopped and looked at her with a smile. “I thought you weren’t talking to Harry. Besides that what made you want the second date with Zabini?”
“His name is Blaise, and Malfoy’s name is Draco, we aren’t in school anymore.”
“I know. But he still shouldn’t have kissed me.”
“Fine, can we go back to the club or are you ready to go home?”
Hermione sighed. “We can go back, but I’m not sitting next to Draco again.” they ventured back in together and took seats beside each other this time instead of sitting near the guys.
“Is everything ok?” Blaise asked.
“Yes, as long as people keep their hands to themselves.” Hermione stated and then took a drink of her martini.
