*~*~*~*~*~*~Enjoy*~*~*~*~*~*~
The sun was slowly coming up as the knowledge of his parents at the Lestrange Manor buzzed through his head. After trying and failing to sleep for over an hour, Harry had had enough. From the position of the sun outside, he guessed it was getting toward eight. Harry rose and went down the hall to his godfather's room. Pausing outside the door, he knocked quietly.
"Sirius?" The door opened showing Sirius in only a pair of jeans.
"Ah Harry your up early. I didnt receive any letter from Bella." Harry frowned in confusion before remembering that Sirius didn't know he'd sent Bellatrix the book.
"Er. Right. I'm going to see my parents today. Do you want to come?" Harry knew he was being overly blunt, but he was very impatient to see the two people who he thought were dead for most of his life.
Sirius blinked rapidly.
"How do you know where they are?"
"I...uh. I got a letter from Bellatrix." Harry stammered, for some reason unwilling to tell his secret yet.
And it was technically true. He'd gotten several letters from her, just not through the post.
"They're living in the LeStrange's place..." Sirius sighs then nods.
"Alright i think i know where it is. Come on." Harry nodded and followed Sirius, determined to see if his parents were alive for himself.
Sirius led him to the apperation point. He was nervous about hearing that JAmes and Lily were alive. Once they apperated they stood on the cobblestone path leading up to the Lestrange Manor. The MAnor was very dark looking.
Once they arrived, Harry stared at the house that contained his parents and all of his confidence seemed to pour out of him, leaving him feeling frightened and very insecure. He turned to his godfather, his face white.
"I-I....I can't go in there. What if they hate me? What if..."
"Harry calm down... lets just go in and see if its true." Sirius said as he took Harry's hand.
Slowly he led his godson up the path and up to the door. Harry followed, his feet moving without any real input from his brain. He balked at the steps leading up to the heavy door, but when Sirius pulled his hand, he climbed them and stood before it, palms sweating and eyes wide.
Sirius reached up and pulled the door knocker as a very loud cathedrial like bell rang. A few minutes pass as the door opens showing a house else similar to Kreacher.
"Who are you?" he asked with a snide attitude. Harry stepped forward and swallowed.
"I-" he had to clear his throat before continuing.
"I'm Harry Potter." The elf blinks then nods slowly.
"Please come in." Harry nods, then looks back to Sirius, holding out his hand.
Sirius takes his hand and walks inside as the manor was huge and well decorated. The elf walks into a small room as heels were heard on the floor.
Suddenly a sharp cry was heard from the room as Lily stood at the door looking at Harry in shock. Harry felt his chest tighten alarmingly and gulped in a breath of air.
"M-....Mom...." He stood, frozen, as feelings he never thought he'd had washed over him and he thought he might remember the sound of her laughter and the feel of her lips on his forehead from somewhere deep in his memory.
Lily looked at him tears streaming down her cheeks.
"My baby..." she whimpered as she took a few hesitant steps foreward as James stepped around her.
Lily could feel the hole that was in her heart start to be fill. Her baby was back. Before Lily took more than a couple steps, Harry launched himself into her arms, his own coming around her waist and holding her tightly.
He buried his face in her shoulder and prayed he wouldn't cry. Lily latched onto him as she grips his shoulder and his hair almost fearing if she let go he would disappear.
"My baby... my baby..." she continues to chant softly. She kissed his hair holding him tight as James wraps his arms around both of them as Sirius watches all of them.
Harry can hold back no more as he feels a sob catch in his throat. He doesn't lift his head when he speaks, so that his words are muffled against Lily's shoulder and hair.
"I can't believe you're really here, alive." Lily pets his hair as she kisses his hair more.
"We thought we would never see you again." Lily sobbed into his head as James rubbed Harry's back.
Harry leans his head back, releasing Lily only long enough to wipe his eyes.
"I don't understand why this had to happen." Lily sniffed as she cupped his cheeks.
"It's because of that old fart." James said as he slowly let go of Lily and turned to Sirius as they hugged tight in a completely heterosexual hug.
"How could he think I would never find out?" Harry asked, trying to wrap his mind around the whole enigma.
Lily rubbed his back.
"We have come to the conclution that he thought you would never question him. Which brings me to ask how you found us?"
"Bella. Er Bellatrix told me. She sent me a letter on my birthday..." Lily smiled brightly as James chuckled.
"God sometimes i wonder what is going through that nuts mind." Harry frowned slightly, suddenly feeling defensive on Bellatrix's behalf.
"S-she's not..."
"James... she gave us this place to live. Also she brought Harry to us isnt it time you treat her like a person." Lily said as James looked at her and sighed.
"Maybe..." Sirius chuckles.
"Hey you cant expect us to not pick on her abit." Harry's frown deepened as he looked over to Sirius.
"I can." Sirius blinked then grinned slightly.
"Of course you can Harry... especially because of what you told me last night Harry blinked, eyes wide, hoping Sirius wouldn't say anything in front of his parents.
"Er...right." Lily blinks and looks at him.
"Harry what is he talking about?" Harry gulps and glances over to Sirus for help.
"Uh, well....erm..." Sirius shrugs as he couldnt get out of it.
"Lily what is said between Sirius and Harry is private. Let them keep this secret." James said as Lily pouted then slowly nodded.
Harry released a breath, his cheeks going red.
"It doesn't matter anyway." Harry jumped when he felt the book in his inner pocket twitch.
He smiled, thinking Bellatrix must have bumped hers and absently pattet his pocket. Lily gently leads them into a parlor as they talk for an hour or so when the feeling of the journal being written in was felt. Harry can't contain his smile, partly for finally meeting his parents and partly for the feeling of Bellatrix next to his heart.
A few minutes pass as the feeling of the the journal hitting his chest hard. Then a sudden calm happened then writting again. Harry coughs at the heavy feeling against his chest, his smile faltering and his hand coming up to rest against the journal. Lily looks at him.
"Harry if you need to freshen up there is a bathroom over there." She gestured to a door leading to a bathroom.
Harry glances up and nods.
"Thanks." He makes his way quickly to the bathroom.
Once the door is shut, he pulls out the journal and a quill he'd tucked into the front page.
"Bloody hell." he whispered to himself, realizing he had no ink.
He glanced around for a moment before an idea struck him. He opened the door a small crack and cast a quiet *accio*. A moment later, a small pot of ink flew sedately into his hand. He glanced around, noting nothing unusual, then closed the door again. Turning back to the journal, he began to write.
"Bella? Are you alright?" For the moment, he ignored the words she had written in favor of an immediate answer.
The words that had been written before were written on the side page. One was Bellatrix's writting the other was no hers.
"Harry i dont have much time to write this... i was told that since i sent you multipule letters that i was a danger to others and im being moved i dont know if i will have this journal too much longer...." her writing was cut off.
The writing that followed wasnt hers.
"Harry Potter this is Lucius Malfoy... im going to guess that you own this Bella has been taken to isolation. She will be left there til they feel she isnt a threat anymore. They dragged her out of her kicking and screaming. I dont know how long Bella will last in isolation." Harry growled and threw an angry punch at the bathroom door.
"Damn them!" There was a quick knock to the door.
"Harry! Are you alright?" it was James.
Harry magicked the quill dry, slipping it into the opening page of the journal. He then it into his inner pocket, hiding the inkpot under the sink. Opening the door, he came face to face with his fater.
"Yeah." he responded, still angry.
"Yeah, I'm fine." James crosses his arms.
"Alright Harry whats going on? You have the same anger your mother does." Harry huffed, then forced himself to relax.
"I need to talk to Sirius." He hesitated a moment.
"You and Mom too..." James nodded slowly and led him back into the room.
Harry took a seat facing his three parental figures and sighed.
"Bellatrix has been taken into isolation for writing letters to me." Both James and Lily's jaws drop as Sirius looks at him in shock.
"Isolation... she isnt going to last long in there..." Lily looks to Sirius.
"What is isolation?" Sirius sighed deeply.
"24 hours of the day with nothing but a cot on the ground. There is a dementor posted outside the door all day." All the color drains from Harry's face, but his mouth is set in a grim frown.
"We have no choice. We have to get her out of there. I won't have someone punished for helping me." All the adults look at him in shock but agreement.
"I'll call our lord. He could send us some help." Harry looks to Sirius.
"You could probably help more than anyone Voldemort sends...I mean...you've gotten out before. You know the layout and it's weak points..." Sirius nods as James nods as well.
"Voldemort would want us to free the other death eaters there." Harry calms considerably with Sirius' consent.
"Alright, how are we going ot do this?" James walks out of the room as Lily brings Harry up the stairs and puts him in a black shirt and black pants with a cloak that would make him undetectable in the shadows.
Harry watches as his mother clips his cloak, her head bent just in front of him. He lifts a hand and touches the top of her head, suddenly overwhelmed with a familiar smell.
"You still use the same shampoo..." Lily looks at him and smiles petting his hair.
"James says that he enjoys smelling this scent. Also it was the only way to get you to sleep was to put my shampoo in your whisps of hair during your bedtime bath." Harry sighs and pulls his mother close for another hug.
"I think I hate Dumbledore for taking this away from me..." Lily holds him tight petting his hair.
"I do too Harry."
"Don't worry. What he doesn't know is going to bite him in his wrinkly old ass." Harry grins at his Lilly, looking even more like his father than usual.
Lily giggles slightly kissing his forehead.
"Come on." Harry follows wordlessly.
His nerves begin to act up, now that he's sure they're going to retrieve Bella and her comrades. He frowns, knowing he's not scared, and wondering then why he's so nervous. James and Sirius were dressed similarly as Lily kisses both Harry and James on the cheek.
"You three be careful please." James smiles.
"No Problem Voldemort has sent other Death Eaters to help out." Harry looks to his father curiously.
"Who?"
"Snape, Narcissa, Draco, and Blaise they will be waiting out the outskirts of Azkaban." James said as he led him and Sirius out of the house.
"Draco." Harry said with resignation.
"Alright. I'm ready when you all are." James and Sirius lead him to the apperation point and disappear to the docks where the death eaters are.
Draco turns from his mother and his eyes widen at the sight of Harry. Harry goes right up to Draco, his face serious.
"You and I need to talk once this is over." Draco sighs deeply and nods as Narcissa looks at Sirius who exchange a brief nod.
Snape looks at them.
"We have to destroy the wards. The ministry moved the point again since the first escape. Its over in the wester point. Aim for that point with Rictasempra." Snape said as everyone pulled out their wands.
Harry and Sirius followed Snape's directions, pointing their wands and casting the spell simultaneously. The streams of magic hit the point as a loud blast was heard as the wards disappear.
"Alright the Isolation is in the basement. Harry and I will get Bella the rest of you free as many people as you can. Once done apperate anywhere but at home til its quiet." Sirius said as everyone nodded.
"Ready Harry?" Harry nodded and quickly made his way forward. Sirius caught up with him easily and laid a hand on his shoulder, cautioning him to stay close.
They made their way silently and swiftly to the hall Bella's cell was in. The hall was long and the cold feeling of helplessness was felt.
"The dementors still here." Sirius breathes as his breath was seen in front of him.
In front of them was a Dementor standing in front of a cell door. Harry felt his hands go clammy, the hair on the back of his neck standing up.
"Can we cast a Patronus without getting the guards' attention?"
"I dont think so here he comes!" Sirius yells as the Dementor flew over fast towards them.
"EXPECTO PATRONUM!" Harry yelled, thinking of his mother's arms around him.
The white stag leapt from the tip of his wand and bounded toward the oncoming Dementor, goring it with it's long antlers and rending it to shreds. Harry stared at the floating debris as the stag trotted back to him with what he could have sworn was a smug look.
"Whoa. It's never done that before..."
"The love for your mother must have helpped. Come on lets go." Sirius said as he ran to the door where Bellatrix was curled up on the cot holding her knees tight.
Harry pushed past Sirius almost roughly, pointing his wand at the door.
"Demeto!" The door splintered against itself and crashed down into a pile of kindling.
Hardly waiting for the spell to finish, Harry leapt over what was left of the door and to Bellatrix when his energy seemed to suddenly leave him. He reached forward, his hand pausing an inch from her shoulder.
"Bella..." Bellatrix slowly lifted her head seeing him as she was even more sunken in than before even though she only spent a little bit in the room she looked about 10 years oldder.
"Harry..." Harry wrapped Bellatrix in his arms and lifted her against his chest, alarmed at how little she seemed to weigh.
He turned to Sirius.
"We have to get her out of here, now." Sirius nods and walks over gently picking Bellatrix up cradleing her.
"Go on." Sirius adjusts Bellatrix to keep her safe.
Harry is reluctant to let Bellatrix go, but understands that, while Sirius is stronger than him, Harry has the superior reflexes needed to keep the two of them safe. He turns back into the hall, stopping short when he feels a wave of cold on his skin.
His sight fades slightly as screams echo in his head and he feels a cold hand touch his throat. A dementor was in front of him as a loud yell is heard down the hall.
"Expecto Petronum!" A pegasus stampeds toward the dememtor ripping him to streds.
With the source of the cold gone, Harry takes a deep breath and moves forward again, watching the pegasus curiously. Narcissa stands at the end of the hall as she runs over.
"Bella? Is she alright?" Harry nods.
"She's fine for now, but we need to get out of here. Have you freed everyone you can?"
"Yes i came here when i saw that demetor come down here lets go." Narcissa takes Harry's hand as all of them run up the stairs and off the island.
Harry follows, staring at his hand in Narcissa's and wondering what it means when the mother of your enemy takes your hand. Then Harry remembers, Narcissa is not only the mother of his supposed enemy, but the sister of his...
Harry nearly balks as that thought stutters to a stop in his brain. His what? Sirius and Narcissa continues to run as they get to an inn where Draco Blaise and Snape were hiding. Once safe, Harry turns immediately to Sirius.
"Give her to me." Sirius gently hands her to Harry.
Bellatrix laid her head on Harry's shoulder. Her body was almost skeletal feeling. Harry takes Bella to the other side of the room, away from prying eyes, and sits down gently in a soft chair, Bella in his lap.
"Are you alright now? Is...is there anything I can get you?" Slowly her eyes try to stay open but her hand just takes his and clutches it.
"Just... hold me... please." Her voice that like a small child reaching for any kind of comfort.
Harry tightens his arms around her and lays his cheek against her hair. When he speaks, it's quiet and not meant to be heard.
"I'll never let you go..." Bellatrix's barly consious mind files his words away as she drifts off into a peaceful sleep.
Harry closes his eyes, his hands stroking Bellatrix's arms unconsciously as he thinks over the drastic changes in his life and how he will deal with the man who started it all. Several hours pass as they were moved back to the Lestrange Manor.
Bellatrix had been cleaned fed and given regrowth potion so she didnt look sickly anymore. She was laying in her room asleep on the bed. Harry stood in the doorway, looking at Bellatrix and trying to figure out exactly how he felt about her. His hand lifted to his chest, touching the journal there as he watched the steady rhythm of her breathing. Bellatrix slowly started to wake up with a groan.
"Huh... where?" Harry's heart beat faster at the prospect of actually talking to the woman in the bed and he took a hasty step backward, but nto fast enough.
Slowly Bellatrix's eyes moved to him as a soft smile appeared on her lips.
"My hero." Harry swallowed hard.
"Uh." He cleared his throat and took a couple halting steps into the room.
"N-not really. I had a lot of help..."
"You can come in i dont have the strength to hurt you." Bellatrix still didnt move much.
Harry hurried to her side.
"T-that's not it! I don't think you want to hurt me." Bellatrix smiled softly.
"That got you over here." Harry chuckled lightly.
"You seem to know me pretty well." He looked at Bellatrix's face and his eyes softened.
"Can I call you Bella?" Bella nodded slowly.
"Most people do. You dont actually look that much like JAmes... there is a softness to your face." Harry looked away as a blush claimed his cheeks.
Nonetheless, he took Bella's hand, his own shaking slightly.
"Er. Do you need anything? Anything at all?" Bella smiles and holds his hand softly.
"Im fine for now... do i make you nervus?" Harry almost bit his tongue.
"O-of course not! Why would I be n-nervous?"
"You almost are leaping out of your skin." Bella gently laced their fingers.
Harry watched their fingers intertwine and forced himself to relax. He skated his thumb over hers and smiled slightly.
"I-I guess I am, aren't I? Maybe you make me...a little nervous." Bella giggled softly and squeezed his hand.
"You dont have to be. If you promise to just talk to me i promise i wont do anything to hurt you."
"I'm not worried about you hurting me." Harry glanced up toward Bella's eyes, but his gaze cought on her lips.
Even after her time in Azkaban, they were full and lush and the color on Harry's cheeks deepened as he looked away.
*What is this feeling? Why does she make me so...jittery?* he thought to himself.
Bella looked at him oddly.
"Harry are you alright?" Harry choked for a moment, but replied.
"F-fine. I'm fine..." Bella forces herself to sit up.
The blanket covering her fell showing her black night gown that showed her pale skin and full breasts.
"Are you sure? You seem very jittery." Harry stumbles backwards, quickly getting to his feet, eyes wide.
"Good! I'm good! I just have...uh...book! I'm supposed to be reading!" He makes a mad dash for the door, and nearly bowls over Draco in the hallway.
"S-sorry!" Harry pauses to make sure his classmate is alright.
Draco looks at him oddly grabbing his shoulders.
"Whoah whats going on? Why did you run from my aunts room?" Harry gulps.
"Er...I...ah..." Draco walks over and looks into the room then grins slightly.
"Harry can i talk to you real quick?" "Yeah?" Harry keeps close to Draco.
Draco pulls him into a space room.
"You have the hots for my aunty Bella." Harry coughs roughly.
"I- *what*? Who the hell told you that?!" Draco crosses his arms tapping his foot.
"Come on any guy with a pulse would think my aunty is hot but you ran out there fast you like like her."
"I..." Harry cleared his throat feeling trapped. "Your logic is shit, Malfoy."
Draco slaps Harry hard.
"Knock off the Malfoy crap Harry. Your on our side besides you wanted to talk to me anyway. Look my aunty is simple she knows what she likes problem is she goes after what she likes."
"Ow! Just because we're on the same side doesn't mean you get to hit me!" Harry pokes Draco in the ribs.
"And anyway, what does Bella's wants have to do with me?" Draco shakes his head as he looks at him.
"Sirius told us about you two talking. Also i know what its like to see an attractive older woman in a nighty. Its an arouseing thought."
"Ew. Dude, she's your aunt." Harry grins at Draco plafully.
Draco glares.
"I was not talking about my aunt i was talking about another older woman." Harry's look turns curious.
"Who?" Draco blushes slightly and coughs.
"I dont want to talk about it."
"Oh, yet you expect me to talk to you? Yeah right, Malfoy." Harry crosses his arms, ready to be stubborn before a thought strikes him.
"Merlin, it's not my mother is it?" Draco lets his head fall.
"No your mother is took much like my mother. No shes our age but i just happen to be younger than her." Harry steps closer to Draco.
"Oh, come on. You can't give me hints like that, then not tell me!" Draco sighs deeply and sits on the bed.
"It's Hermione."
"He...*Hermione*? But you called her a mudblood!" Harry stares at Draco incredulously.
"I know its strange..." Draco sighs as a soft smile comes to his lips.
"I just saw her in the library one day chewing on her quill and i felt my heart soar." Harry snorts.
"You felt your 'heart soar'? What are you talking about?"
"I fell in love with her! Did you not hear me!" Draco glares at him and turns to the window.
"Let me guess you felt the same thing for my aunty?" Harry frowned, thinking.
Was that what the feeling was? When his chest felt warm and wanted to fly and sink at the same time? When the thought of never seeing her again was physically painful?
"Draco...I really don't know..."
"Look just take my advice. Dont run from her." Draco said as he walked over to the door.
"Er...yeah. Thanks..." Harry watched Draco for a moment, before remembering somethimg.
"Oh! I wanted to talk to you...I forgot."
"We can talk sometime later." Draco walks down the hall.
Harry sighs and slides down the wall beind him. He pulls his knees up to his chest and wraps his arms around them, wondering what he's supposed to do now.
