What a Sweaty Night
=========================================================================================
Hermione woke the next morning feeling groggy and sore. She rolled onto her back and winced from the bandages but also from something poking her in the back. Looking to her left, Hermione’s eyes widened and she nearly shot herself out of the bed. Draco Malfoy was sleeping in her bloody bed. Not only that, he was stark naked! Her eyes ran over his body and she groaned. Brilliant. Just Brilliant.
She hardly remembered the night before but what she did remember was sweating…an awful lot. She brought her hand to the curly mess a top her head and closed her eyes as images of the night before flashed into her mind. She had opened the door to yell at, who she assumed were students, only to come face to face with a peachy colored Malfoy. He reached in and grasped her by the back of the neck, pressing his lips against hers roughly.
She fought him, and fight him she did, but it only took a matter of seconds for her to be kissing him back. Their hands ripped at their clothing, both wincing from the pain when they touched their bandaged sides. He moved forward and she…she pulled him into her room, slamming the door shut. Draco grasped onto her bottom lip between his teeth and pulled as they stumbled toward her bed.
Hermione let out a small moan and winced when she fell against the bed, feeling Draco slide between her thighs. He pulled her shorts down and lifted her shirt from her body, breathing heavily when his lips traveled to her bare breasts. Hermione arched her back against him when she felt his lips collapse around a taut nipple and moaned heavily. Her fingers dug into his back as he lowered himself over her body, pulling her knickers down with his teeth.
Her eyes shot open when she felt his tongue caress the sweet engorged nubbin between her thighs. His hands were brought up against the swell of her hips, his lips buried deep between her legs. Hermione moaned louder, grasping onto the bedding as small beads of sweat began forming over her body. Draco’s tongue lapped at her nectar and dipped into her waiting hole. He pushed a finger inside, feeling her tighten around him and groaned when she brought a hand to the top of his head.
Draco brought his lips to her clit and sucked hard, sending Hermione over the edge. Before she knew it, Draco had pushed his lips against hers and she reveled in the taste of herself and his lips. Hermione pushed him back against the bed, listening to him shout in pain as he landed on his bandage, and jerked off his pajama bottoms. She inhaled at the sight of his hardened length, jutting straight up with a small curve to it. He was just as thick as he was long and Hermione whimpered at the thought of him sheathed inside her.
Draco closed his eyes when she lowered her lips to the tip of his seeping cock, running her tongue over the tip before swallowing his entire length. Thank Merlin for a lack of gag reflexes as Hermione was able to push every last inch of him into her mouth. Draco shuddered and let out a loud groan, bringing his hand to the top of her head as she began bobbing quickly.
She could taste the saltiness of his juices seeping from the tip of his cock and hummed lightly. The vibrations caused Draco to groan loudly, bucking his hips against her warm inviting mouth. His hand brushed the hair from her face and he leaned up flexing his abdomen muscles to watch her suck him off. Draco growled when her tongue traced over the bottom of his length, teasing and swirling around the spearhead.
Her reached for her arms and pulled her quickly to him, pressing her chest against his own as his hand snaked between them. Hermione panted and let out a loud moan when she felt himself push into her dripping glove. They rocked against one another, moaning in unison as his arms wrapped around her back, jerking his hips upward as she rolled them over her.
He leaned up and captured her mouth, swallowing her moans they moved together. Hermione rolled onto her back when Draco pushed her, still buried deep inside her and cried loudly as he began pumping savagely. Sweat began dripping from their bodies, mixing with other unsightly fluids beneath them. Hermione arched her back when Draco leaned away, grasping onto the crooks under her knees and splayed them over his thighs.
They stared at each other, eyes hazy with lust, as he began thrusting hard and rough. Hermione leaned back and moaned loudly, feeling every inch fill her and tear at her fluttering walls. When she brought her eyes to him, she found that he was staring at their union, watching his length disappear into her flesh dripping wet from her juices. Hermione leaned forward, wrapping an arm around his neck and rolled her hips hard against him. He brought her hands to her hips and began thrusting upward. Their lips crashed against one another and in one fail swoop Hermione pressed her chest against him and shouted his name.
Her walls clamped around him, milking him of every drop of his seed while he continued pounding inside her tight heat. He growled and grunted, pumping two more times before falling over her, pressing her to her back. Hermione closed her eyes as he bathed her in kisses, nipping at her lips. Their limbs were intertwined and they were panting heavily. He rolled from her and let out a small hiss as he settled onto his back. Neither one of them said a thing but slowly drifted off into sleep.
And that was where she was at. Right at this moment those memories decided to drift back into her mind and she felt dirty and disgusted. Hermione lifted herself from the bed and walked to the bathroom, her legs and everything else about her sore as a motherfucker.
When she came out of the shower, she found Draco sitting on the edge of her bed, dressed in his pajama bottoms. He had his head in his hands and was groaning like he had a hang over. Hermione wrapped a towel around herself and walked across the room, not bothering to say anything as Draco watched her. What else was there to say? What could she have said?
Hermione slipped a pair of knickers under the towel and shimmed them up, ignoring Draco’s stares at her back and pulled on a worn gray t-shirt. She dropped her towel and slipped on a pair of sweats, drying her hair with the towel before deciding to turn around. Draco was still staring at her with his lips parted and hand resting on his knee.
“That was…”Draco began scratching his head, “Some night.”
“Indeed,” Hermione replied, awkwardly.
“Well, we don’t have to worry about dying now,” he laughed, but his laugh was short.
“What do you mean?” Hermione asked, moving to the bathroom to hang her towel up.
“In order to rid yourself of the poison you have to literally sweat it out and…from the looks of it we did a lot of sweating last night,” he didn’t smirk, or even look at all amused by their interactions.
That alone prompted her to believe that he was all talk and little walk. Draco had always been the one to chase after some one and once he got them, he gave up. It was clear now that after he had Hermione he’d leave her alone. So be it. As long as he didn’t lord it over her head, she didn’t care.
“Right,” Hermione nodded, running a hand over the bandage on her lower back.
“I should get going,” Draco said quietly, “I need to go a little research…”
“About what?” she asked, quirking an eyebrow.
“Why the Jormungandr are in the Black Lake and where the merpeople were during the attack,” Draco simply said, “I have a rotten feeling that some one put them there and it’s dangerous. They can potentially kill every living thing in the water…”
Hermione knew that of course. The Jormungandr, or World Serpent, was classified as a very dangerous creature. It can reach up to the size of a large ship within a few months. The last thing the school needed was gigantic sea creatures, outside of the giant squid, accosting the students and potentially killing them.
“If…”Hermione said, as Draco reached the door, “If you need any assistance, I would like to help.”
He looked at her and then away, nodding, “Alright.” And just like that, he was gone.
Hermione exhaled and shook her head, deciding to forgo any kind of explanation of the night before. She had to admit, though, that it was quite an experience. Not that she wanted to experience it ever again. Nope. No. Most certainly not.

You’re Assuming I Remember
=========================================================================================
Breakfast at the Great Hall was busy as usual. Gossip about what creatures lurked out in the Black Lake was the topic of most conversations. Students moved from table to table to compare rumors but they soon grew quiet when Hermione emerged from the entrance. She had changed into her weekend robes, a light yellow summer set, and moved through the crowds of whispering students.
Hermione sat next to Snape but found Draco’s seat empty. She sniffed and began picking at her potatoes, staring at her plate. Snape leaned over, the smell of potions made her feel a tad dizzy, “They are not going to eat you, Ms. Granger.”
She sighed and looked up at him, “What do you know about the Jormungandr poison?”
Snape quirked an eyebrow and leaned back in his seat, “I’m surprised you don’t already know.”
She flushed red and cleared her throat, placing her fork onto her plate, “Are you going to tell me or chastise me for not knowing?”
He chortled something scary and she realized she never wanted to hear him laugh again, but he continued.
“It is said that Jormungandr poison is lethal if not pushed out through one’s pores…”
“Yes, I know that but what are the side effects of the poison?” Hermione asked, staring at several quizzical faces looking at her. She quirked an eyebrow and they went back to their breakfast.
“It depends how long one has had the poison in their system,” Snape answered with a shrug, “It’s highly acidic and wrecks havoc on the nervous system, and slowly numbing your body until you can’t move at all. Their poison seeps through the water around them and because aquatic life does not sweat, it’s the inevitable. Why do you ask?”
“Malfoy said he believes some one put the Jormungandr into the lake,” Hermione said quietly, “But the question is why. Why would some one do that?”
“If you know anything, Ms. Granger, it is that water is what gives life to many things…” Snape replied, “Think about what would happen if the poison in the lake gets into…say Hagrid’s cabbage patch.”
Hermione’s eyes widened and she looked at him, “Everyone would get sick and…”
“Exactly, but not to worry,” Snape pulled apart a roll and began buttering it, “Professor Malfoy is already preparing to handle the creatures with Hagrid.”
“What?” Hermione looked around and noticed that Hagrid was missing as well. “That’s dangerous, he can’t do it alone…”
“Hence why Hagrid is with him,” Snape said in a matter-of-fact tone, lowering his roll to look at Hermione, “Are you worried for him?”
“What? No! Of course not,” Hermione sputtered, rising from her seat, “I’m…going to be in the library.”
“If you say so,” Snape grinned menacingly, causing two first years unlucky enough to catch that grin break out into tears.
Hermione sighed and left the hall. She tied her hair up as she reached Hagrid’s hut and opened the door without knocking. Hagird nearly stumbled back while Draco sat patiently at his table, Fang snoring with his head on his lap.
“Hermione!” Hagrid said happily, “What brings ya ‘ere? Come to help Professor Malfoy and I wrestle with them World Serpents.”
“Yes,” Hermione affirmed, allowing herself to sit across from him.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea, you might get us killed,” Draco warned, nodding as Hagrid poured him some tea.
“Oh nonsense, Hermione is the smartest witch in all of Britain,” Hermione beamed at Hagrid and grinned wickedly at Draco.
“Even so, she doesn’t know a lick about the Jormungandr or how to combat them,” Draco huffed, glaring at Hermione.
“I just need to know the basics and I’m sure you’ll let me help, considering what you agreed to earlier this morning,” Hermione grinned at him, and poor Hagrid was none the wiser.
“Fine, but if you die don’t come crying to me,” Draco snapped, rising from his seat. “Let’s go. They should be sleeping still the sun isn’t high enough yet.”
Hagrid nodded and grabbed onto his crossbow, leaving first. Hermione turned to follow but felt Draco’s hand on her arm.
“You’re staying here,” he said firmly, looking at her with narrowed eyes.
“How about…no?” Hermione replied, yanking her arm free, “You told me that I could help and I’m going to.”
“You’re going to get killed,” Draco whispered, “And if that happens it’s not going to be on my head.”
“Of course it won’t,” she answered, “because I won’t die. Now…”
She turned again but found Draco in front of her. “Don’t. Hermione. Please.”
What’s this? Draco actually begging her not to go? Oh this was going to be delicious. She shrugged and shoved past him, walking down the steps of Hagrid’s hut.
“Ready there Hagrid?” Hermione asked happily as Hagrid pulled several large buckets of what looked like chum onto a sleigh.
“Of course! Let’s get ‘em buggers!” Hagrid looked more excited to see one than actually capturing them.
She exhaled followed Hagrid, hearing Draco stepping on the stones behind them. He grasped the crook of her arm and jerked her back.
“Well, if you die,” Draco said calmly, “At least you’ll know what it’s like to have a Malfoy bed you.”
“You’re assuming I remember,” Hermione replied as they reached the shore, “And it’s a sad thing that I don’t. Not quite up to par down there, are you?”
She grinned when Draco dropped his hand from hers and clenched his wand. Hermione cleared her throat and stepped into a large boat, Hagrid already in another other. She turned and sat, pulling her wand out and resting it on her lap.
“Coming?” She asked in a small innocent voice.
Draco snarled and climbed into the boat, pushing it off the shore as they slowly set out to rid the world of evil. Kind of.
