Meet my sadistic delectation, as it melts down the lips sealed with mutilated screams-
I trimmed my landscape longings.

“This is so surreal!” gasped Hermione as she stepped through the brick alleyway.

Lucius laughed, he was in awe of this woman’s never ending enthusiasm, she seemed to want to know everything there was to know about being a witch. She was positively thrilled about being gifted with magic and couldn’t wait to meet Olivander.

As they stepped into the small store, Hermione let out a gleeful sigh. She stood open mouthed as she looked around the shop, trying hard to resist the urge to touch every thing that she could.

“Ahh, you’re Majesty!” smiled the white haired man as he emerged from the back.

“Good morning Olivander, this is Lady Hermione Granger.” he said as Hermione beamed at him.

“A late bloomer! Oh my so much power as well! What to do?” he said as he tapped his cheek with his finger, “Ahh! I have just the one!” he said with a smile.

He walked into the back of the store and selected a wand in a gold box; he hesitated for a minute, before opening the box and handing the wand to Hermione.

“Go on dear, give it a whirl!” he said.

Hermione flicked the wand and smiled widely as it shot out bright gold sparks.

“Dragon heartstring and Vine wood, most excellent for charms and defensive spells. It is most unusual for a witch or wizard to find their wand on the first try, I have only known of one other,” he said, “May I ask why you came so late into your magic?”.

“I think I can answer that,” smiled Lucius, “I have many suspicions that Hermione may be my soul mate. I felt the pull of her magic as soon as I set eyes on her and I felt the bond start almost straight away.” he admitted.

“Well then, congratulations, Your Majesty!” he said.

“Thank you, Olivander, you have been of much help.” he said as he placed several large gold coins upon counter and bid the man goodbye.

As they stepped out on to the magical alley, the handsomest men Hermione had ever seen greeted Lucius. They seemed to be twin brothers, both with dark hair that shone in the sun; they had bright clear blue eyes and neatly trimmed dark beards. Lucius quickly introduced them as Rodolphus and Rabastan LeStrange, whom where his first cousins.

They seemed to fall into natural step with Lucius as they walked, Hermione on one side of him, the brothers on the other. They seemed extremely lively and witty, full of suggestive banter which the king seemed to enjoy immensely. He replied back to the pair with scathing retorts that left them grinning. Hermione also noticed that they had shining white teeth.

“Lucius?” asked Hermione.

“Yes, my little Lionne?” he replied.

“Is your court magical?” she asked, not noticing Lucius’ little term of endearment.

Rodolphus and Rabastan laughed merrily as Hermione asked several questions about the royal court, mostly concerning who was a witch and who was not. Hermione was shocked to hear that her siblings almost certainly carried the magical gene. She almost instantly thought of Sirius, whose charm and cunning could make him a perfect wizard. She also thought of Narcissa, who would be thrilled to learn that she had some sort of magical power, although Hermione didn’t even want to think of what she would use it for.

She quickly concluded that Narcissa could not be trusted with any sort of power; she would undoubtedly use it to an unfair advantage. Hermione could not let this happen as she knew her sister could be an insanely jealous person when it came to something that she could not have.

Lucius had informed Hermione that she was to be schooled in all the best subjects to nurture her magic and strengthen it to the highest possible power. Hermione was overjoyed that the king had such faith in her. His confession of love had made her feel like she was on top of the world, and her feelings for him had brought a sweet ache to her heart. She had never felt this intensely for anyone before and it scared her slightly.

Lucius bid his cousins goodbye as they walked back toward the entrance to Diagon Alley. Rodolphus gave her a lazy wink as he and his brother vanished out of thin air, leaving Hermione standing open-mouthed staring at the spot where the brothers had just stood.

Lucius delicately closed her open mouth with his finger and smiled at her. She was so open to anything he couldn’t help but want to spoil her and wrap her in the finest silks and velvets. He wanted to see his ring on her finger, her body clinging to his in the throes of passion. He closed his eyes for a moment and he could see her beautiful face flushed as she writhed underneath him, crying out in ecstasy.

He was distracted from his thoughts by her small hand upon his, looking down he noted her warn brown eyes were filled with concern.

“I’m fine, Hermione.” he said softly.

Her worried expression turned back to one of pure mischievousness, he knew she was eager to know how the brothers had vanished from sight and could not resist pulling her to him so that she stood flush against his body. She let out a slightly breathy whimper as she was pressed tightly against him. She could feel something hard against her stomach; she wondered what it was…until it dawned on her. Lucius was aroused by having her so close! She whimpered again consumed by the feeling that was pooling in her stomach.

Lucius inhaled sharply as her whimpering shot straight to his rapidly hardening shaft, his fingers curled tighter around her waist and he felt her breath on his neck as she placed her head on his shoulder. He withdrew his wand and apparated them to within his chambers.

He needed her, desperately so. She had become his hunger. He wanted to sink himself within her and never leave. He had to have her.

Hermione gasped as his lips sought hers in a blaze of fiery passion, his hands roamed over her back and she arched into him as his hands drifted toward her bottom. She pulled away gasping as he bit softly on her uncovered neck.

“What was that?” she asked.

“Apparition.” he said as he leaned in for another kiss, but Hermione blocked him.

“What’s apparition?” she asked.

“Something I will teach you in the next coming weeks, now kiss me!” he grinned.

Hermione smiled before obeying the king, and allowing him to catch her lips once more, she did not object as his tongue met hers, but leaned in toward him even more.

She squeezed her thighs together tightly as she became aware of just how much the king’s kisses were affecting her, she could feel the bubbling pool of heat deep within her stomach. This feeling was foreign to her but she needed to relieve it, as Lucius’ kisses became more frantic, she could feel the ache increase dramatically.

“Touch me.” he breathed against her mouth.

She shakily placed her hand on his thigh and slowly ran her hand up, causing Lucius to moan hotly into her neck. She found herself panting along with him, lost in her lust for the man.

She cupped his erection through his velvet pants and he bit down on her neck gently. She ran her hand up and down his covered length, when he suddenly bucked into her hand and took her lips once more, wanting to get as close to her as he could. Her hand found the indent of his pants and he whispered encouragement into her mouth as she undid the buttons.

A loud banging on the door startled Hermione from her intended mission and Lucius groaned as the banging continued. He kissed her softly and stood up, righting his clothing as he went, and answered the door to his chambers.

“What on earth has you knocking like a madman!” said the king.

“Come quickly, Sir, it’s the Queen!” the Guard shrieked.

Lucius looked to Hermione, who rose and followed him; she was one of the queen’s ladies, so it was not unusual for her to be following the king. They quickly reached the queen’s quarters.

Hermione was not prepared for what she saw. The queen was lying on a crimson sheet, her wrists slashed to ribbons, her eyes bloodied and still open. Hermione felt her stomach lurch, threatening to empty itself as the smell of blood became overwhelming. She looked a little closer and noticed that the bed sheet was in fact white, although it was saturated with the queen’s blood.

Hermione looked to Lucius who dropped to his knees in shock beside the queen’s bed; he reached out and pulled her to him, looking into her glassy eyes, horrified at what he had found. He cradled her corpse close to his chest while his body shook with sobs.

“Lucy, what have you done?” he whispered into her russet curls.

He clung to her cold body like a child to its mother, Hermione could see the blood seeping through his white shirt, and she looked upon him, his grey eyes streaming with tears, guilt and heartbreak.

“Why? Why would she do this?” he asked as he turned toward Hermione.

She shook her head, her own eyes filled with tears at the sight of her fallen queen.

“I don’t know.” she whispered as she sank to her knees beside him.

“My wife.” he whispered as he kissed her cold cheek, rocking her body softly in his arms.

It seemed like hours before he stopped, and Hermione jumped as he rose and placed the queen’s body on the bed, righting her arms over her body to hide the slashes.

He held out a hand for Hermione, who accepted.

“I’m so sorry.” she said as stood.

He embraced her fiercely; he clung to her as if she was his last living possession, as if he was almost afraid to let her go.

He released her and cleared his throat.

“Have the healers come and tend to my wife, cleanse her and close her wounds.” he said to the remaining guard inside the room.

“Yes, you’re Majesty.” Said the guard who immediately left the room.

The king’s face was a picture of sorrow, and it broke Hermione’s heart to see him in such a state.

“Hermione, please go to the ladies chambers and inform them of the queens death, but please give no details, until we are sure of her cause of death.” he said

Hermione was unsettled by how quick the king’s demeanor could change; his face was now a cold mask, void of emotion. If she had not known he was heartbroken, she would never have guessed.

“At once, sir.” she said and left the room.

Severus Snape was a master of healing and potion making and available to the king at all times. When he had received word of the queen’s supposed suicide he knew something was amiss. What motives did the queen actually have to kill herself? Everything seemed a little too out of place to him. In addition, when he examined to the body he found the wounds to be not of the queen’s magical signature, but of someone else entirely. He found the wounds to her eyes to also be a spell that he had never encountered before….Therefore, Severus’ official conclusion was foul play…The queen had been murdered.
