Jokes and Confessions
Chapter 5 Jokes and Confessions
I woke up early like I always did at the orphanage. I'm still a little disoriented about where I am when I first wake up. I softly got up and tip toe to the bathroom to freshen up and relive myself. On the way back I heard noise coming from Ron's room as I walked past. Curiosity gets the best of me and I look into the room through his slightly open door. What I saw made my mouth drop in shock. There was Ron naked and stroking a very hard penis. I knew I shouldn’t stare but I couldn’t make myself move. I started to feel myself grow moist with arousal. My hand slowly moved down the front of my panties as I began to stroke my velvety lips. My fingers teased my clit making my pussy wetter. I slipped my middle finger in and began to stroke that perfect spot right up there. I could tell he was almost going to cum and I quickly shove another finger in stroking myself harder, I was so close. I bit back a moan not wanting him to know I was there. Suddenly he screams out a name I didn’t expect to hear, ‘Harry’. I gasped. Ron was gay. I didn’t get a lot of time at the orphanage to masturbate and all of the pepped up arousal finally took over as an image of Harry and Ron flew into my mind making me cum hard. I quickly pulled my hand out of my pants and wiped my fingers clean rushing back to my room embarrassed and ashamed. I lay back down and thought about what just happened. Harry said something to me when we were flying; he thought that Ron liked Hermione. I came to the conclusion that he was bi.
A few minutes later Ginny woke up and I got up to get changed for the day.
“Hey” I said as I pulled off my tank top.
Turning around I saw a sleepy Ginny smile and said. “Hi yourself.” Her eyes couldn’t seem to leave my chest. Not that I minded, it meant that I might have a chance with her anyways. So I stood facing her and pulled on my bra self-consciously making my body look a bit sexier then it all ready was. I slowly pull my bottoms down grabbing my underwear with them. I turn around and lean forward with my butt in the air giving Ginny a full view of my round arse and lips still moist from my actions before. With my supreme hearing I heard her breath quicken. Pulling out a pair of clean underwear, I turn around to see two people staring at me. Hermione must have woken up sometime while I was turned around. They both shared a look of lust and desire.
“What?” I asked thinking that I tortured them enough and finished getting dressed.
“Nothing.” They both said simultaneously quickly averting their eyes. I just shrugged and laughed.
“I’m going downstairs for a walk in the woods, be back in half an hour.” I said grabbing the cloak and left the room. They both nod and slowly got up to get dressed.
It was a beautiful day outside. The cool morning breeze brushed across my face as I walked towards the woods. Once I was completely covered by the trees I pulled off the cloak and shoes and ran along the path we walked before, until I reached a clearing. There I stopped and spun looking up at the sky. I watched the morning light filter in through the trees dancing across my face and the earthen floor.
I’m quite content in nature’s natural habitat which has a lot to do with what I am. I’m the keeper of the elements or an elemental. I've known what I was since I was about nine. I found a magical ally somewhere in London and there was a bookstore. I looked around for a magical abilities book and found one. Of course I didn’t have any money, but I could read it every so often when I had some time out of the orphanage. For some reason they didn’t kick me out of the shop. Even now I can’t figure out how I got away with it.
An elemental is a being or a power that is part of another being such as gods, elves, and angels. They can control, communicate, and guide anywhere from one to all four of the elements. Most of the time an elemental can only guide one or two of the elements. Water and fire, and earth and wind are the most common combinations. Those that can guide all four have been extinct for many years now. They are very rare and are extremely powerful beings which makes them great additions in battles. I knew one thing that was wrong with the date that I read; those that controlled all four are not extinct.
I sat down on the grass by the lake, thinking about what I read as I pulled off my gloves and rested them on the ground beside me. I relax as I felt the grass pushing against me tickling my hand as it plays with it and wraps its blades around my fingers. I run my hand over their tips, sending my feeling and thoughts to them. Earth tents to give me support and advice, sometimes even when it wasn’t asked for or wanted. They answer back in their own way traveling through my skin and into my gut. It never spoke in words but pictures filled my heart with love. Today that told me two things: one, which the family I lived in was broken and needed my help; and two, that I need to be with them more than I was. The last one was always given each time I talked with them. Something I soon came to ignore.
I then leaned over and ran my hand through the water below, spinning my hand and making small ripples dance over my skin. It splashed up around my wrists almost trying to cling to me asking me to never let go. I smiled as I felt the cool rush going over me. Water is the element that can calm and sooth me. She almost reminds me of a mother washing away her child’s fears. When I play with water I can imagine that all my fears and problems are gone. That I can be me with no worries about what others would think. If I had to pick a favorite element it would be water but I fear that the other ones will feel jealous.
The wind is the next element that I reach out to. It tells me nameless tales of the past and present. Some of them are of heroic people, of romance and love, while others are filled with sadness and loss. They can make me laugh and cry. Wind always had a story that was perfect for the moment all according to my moods. Now it’s a story of love; undying love between two people and how long someone will wait for their true love. It was exactly what I needed to start off the day.
The only element missing was fire but I wouldn’t start one in the woods for fear of burning it down. My control was not as strong as I would like which is one reason for the gloves. Fire is almost like a child, it is always laughing and making jokes. When I put my hand in fire it reaches out for my hand and climbs itself up my hand trying to get to as much of me as possible. It never burns my skin yet it fills my soul and inner body with warmth. It is also the hardest element for me to control, almost like a rebellious teenager. If only I could talk to fire. Then my day would be set, all of my elements around me.
I slipped my hand out of the water and call for the fire inside to dry my hand before put the glove back on. I have to wear gloves because when I touch someone I have no clue what element is close to the surface. I could touch someone and give them a third degree burn or drown them in water that doesn’t exist. I could strangle them with vines that only they can feel or send them a blast of wind that could throw them straight across a room. It’s a bit lonely not being able to touch humans. I can’t even remember what human skin feels like besides my own. I know that there is more power within this power that I can get to yet. I really don’t know what it is and I’m a bit scared about what it is. When I get to Hogwarts I’m going to have to do some research to find out what I am.

On my way back to the house I ran into Fred and George having an early morning run. They were almost done so I joined them while finding a lot out about them.
“So, I heard that you liked to play jokes on people. What have you done already? Maybe I can give you some advice or new tricks.” I said with a hint of mischief.
“You’re a jokester, are you? Well, we’ll need to hear about your jokes and maybe you could help out in the shop.” Said Fred.
“Well I have expectations that you must met. Let’s see how good your jokes are. I will only then judge if I will accept your offer.” I said with a smirk.
“Great! Lets get talking.” George (I think it was him) said.
“We left Hogwarts on brooms to get away from the evil headmistress after insulting.” Said George.
“Now that’s the best you can do? What happened to Dumbledore?”
“Well he disappeared for a while now he’s back and a good thing, too. We also sent fireworks through out the school that would multiply if you used magic on them.” said Fred
“We had the whole 2nd floor covered in a bog. We did a few other things as well.” Said Fred and George at the same time.
“Well I’ll have to say that’s a bit better than just flying out of Hogwarts. Yet I’ve done better. I’ve cause a divorce by planting traps and tricks each step they took; I’ve caused someone to loose their job by putting home made listening devices and spying devices around finding out all they have done that was illegal. Yet I don’t know if that was a trick or out of necessity. Do I need to say more? From the looks on your faces I’ll take that as I don’t. So what's this joke shop like?”
“The joke shop is in Diagon Ally a wizarding town. We sell joke goods that we invented.”
“It's really cool if you ask me. We want the students to get jokes to play on some of the teachers at Hogwarts.”
“Especially Professor Snape. He teaches potions.”
“Evil guy.”
“Yes. He has no sense of humor.”
“Great person to pick on.”
“I can’t wait to meet this guy. I might be a bit of help getting him out of that school. Can I come see the shop some time soon?” I asked as we walked back to the house. I stopped to put the cloak on and followed them out of the woods.
“Sure we’re going today. You can come if you don’t have any plans.” Answered Fred.
“Sounds great! I’ll talk to Hermione about studying later in the evening. See you soon,” I said as I ran up the stairs to get ready and find Hermione.
*****
I decided today that I hate traveling by floo powder. It makes me so dizzy and feel sick but I have heard that Portkey is much worse. I plowed right into Fred almost falling on my face. George was already upstairs opening the shop for the day. I took a minute to look around. I was standing in the Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, in the middle of what looked to be some sort of storeroom. Yet how you could find anything in this place was a mystery to me, it was so messy. There were boxes everywhere stacked on top if each other that looked about to fall at any minute or if someone touched them. There was random junk thrown into the boxes then thrown anywhere in the small space. I knew then what my job would be while I was there if they would let me do it.
“This is so messy. How can you find anything?” I said
“Oh, you'll get used to it. It’s actually really organized.” Said Fred
“Organized! I don’t want to see what unorganized is. Can I clean it. Like, put labels on everything and put them in order and make it manageable, /Please/?” I responded. I hated when things were completely random and a mess when they should be clean. A messy room was fine but a work place wasn’t.
“Whatever. Have fun.” Said Fred.
“Great so you have any empty boxes?”
“Look around you might find some.”
I groaned and walked over to my first task: getting rid of half opened boxes of the same thing and gathered all of the empty ones. This took about half the day, but I made great progress since I was used to cleaning and organizing. While I worked, I started to sing some of the old time orphanage favorites. I ended up with more boxes than I needed left over. So I stacked them on the corner in case I needed them later. I just started my next task of labeling all of the boxes when George came down. At first I didn’t hear him for I was too caught up in my work and songs to notice.
“Harriet, you’re a great singer. Where did you learn to sing so well?” he asked.
“I… well… um... I just sang a lot at the orphanage. I always had a good voice so I guess it runs in the family. Do you like what I did?” I said blushing.
“Yeah, it’s never been this clean in I don’t know how long. Hey Fred, look at this.”
“You labeled things! Even Ginny can’t get all this done in half a day. She gets so discouraged.” He said, “Hey bro, we're going have to hire her. I can’t wait to try to trick her.”
“You can try but you won’t succeed. Anyway, you already told me you were going to so something so now I know to keep by mind and eyes open.” I teased. “Hey guys when is lunch? I’m starved.”
“We flooed mom and said that we will be eating in Diagon Ally today. I just came down to get you when I heard you singing. Fred, have you ever heard her sing?”
“Nope. Harriet, delight me with a song.”
“Not right now. Come on, let’s eat.” I said while dragging them up the stairs and out of the shop, resisting a look around as I did so.
We ate at The Café on the Strip a lively little place with great food. I got a salad and some bread. They both said that I would have to eat more to gain some weight on those bones. Once Mrs. Weasley saw me she would serve me food until I burst. Afterwards we went to get some ice cream and then walked around some. Since I had never been in a wizard town before with a tour guide to explain what I was seeing, I wanted to see everything and I wanted them to explain everything. They acted annoyed but I knew they were having a great time showing off their knowledge.
Back at the shop they gave me a quick tour before opening for the afternoon. The shop had amazing little gidgets and gadgets that had some purpose on how to torture someone. I went back down stairs after the shop opened again and finished the labeling and work. When we went home, I flooed with Fred at the same time to avoid suspicion. Ginny and Hermione greeted us when we got home.
“So how was it?” asked Ginny, “A mess right.”
“Yep, but not anymore. I worked all day trying to clean it up.” I responded with a whisper from under the cloak.
“It is completely organized. She wants to add shelves sometime to make it cleaner. I swear she is an angel or something. It’s never been this clean, even when we bought it.” Fred said after stepping out of the fireplace.
“It still has a lot of work but it’s much better. Where are the boys?”
“You know them, out playing Quidditch.” Said Hermione.
“Oh, can we start today’s lessons before dinner?” I asked.
She smiled and ran up stairs not really giving an answer. I ran after her laughing. I tackled her to the bed.
She said, “Of course we can do lessons but I would rather see you with the cloak off.”
“But that’s dangerous. What if someone comes up?”
“We’ll keep the door closed and a please knock sign.”
“All right” I said as I pulled off the cloak.
She was so close to me I could feel her breath on my face. All I could do was stare into her eyes entranced by the milk chocolate hazel brown. My eyes slid down her face to her full reddish pink lips. I slowly began to lean over to towards her lips before I pulled away and went to the shelf as I pulled of the Magical History book. I remembered Harry’s words that night and felt bad. I couldn’t invade on what he wanted. It just wouldn’t be right. I could feel her eyes following me. I had no clue what I was doing this to the girl but I knew I would have to make this stop - and soon. Harry loves her and I can’t. I thought she was attractive, but I can’t love her. What was about to happen there must never happen again.
“Let’s start with the books” I said breaking the silence in the room.
She pulled up a chair and we started. I finished half of the book before dinner and with time to spare. We stopped there to pick it up tomorrow or after dinner. So we started to talk. I found out so much about her and her family. She told me about Hogwarts and the houses. I told her about being an orphan and the other girls. We were called down to eat when she asked about my life before the orphanage and if I remembered it. I was so glad that that conversation stopped - I didn’t want to answer the question. I never told anyone about my past. Partly because I don’t remember much of it and another reason is because it hurts to talk about it.

R&R Please, I would love to know what I am doing good and what I am doing bad.
I woke up early like I always did at the orphanage. I'm still a little disoriented about where I am when I first wake up. I softly got up and tip toe to the bathroom to freshen up and relive myself.
