Let The Chase Begin!

ONE YEAR LATER

“Run Harry!”

Her blonde and purple streaked locks escaped from the elastic band as she ran fast down the crowded streets, gripping onto the weighty three leather pouches in her hand.

Each black material pouch containing objects worth far more than money could buy, but they would have a go at selling them later anyways.

The people who they had nicked these from we're more than just a little bit pissed and we're currently chasing her and Harry who was god knows where, down central London, to be honest they were lucky the bobbies weren’t onto them. Yet.

“Wotcha sis ,” the filthy black haired boy cackled as he continued running and slid under a table that were selling little trinkets for the holiday makers skinning his knees in the process, before throwing himself back to his feet almost tripping over and dodging more couples and wondering families from abroad.

“Keep up,” he laughed like a mad man and he turned swiftly down another busy road, clutching three silken bags of his own, two of the men chasing her, split from the group of four men, racing after the little black haired shit who weaved in and out of the crowded streets, enjoying the high he got from the exhilarating game of cat and mouse.

Her blue eyes narrowed at him before she lost sight of him and they separated as she cut down the next alleyway and raced along down it, well aware of the footsteps behind her and they were closing in fast on her.

Making a quick decision she launched herself over the broken brick wall and into the pillow pile in the same street as her brother, hissing as she knocked her elbow on the crumbling bricks and thanking her many stars for the pillow vender, who screamed at her as she clambered over the multicoloured cushions, finding her feet once more before she took off again gaining that precious ground between her and the men.

The men who were still chasing her! They were climbing over the wall when she turned around for a quick glimpse to see if they were still there and apparently they weren’t giving up that easily.

She gave a frustrated scream as her brother laughed at her again, taking the lead once more, before giving a yell and tripping over into a pile of rubbish, causing her to snicker and take first place.

She ran down another street, this one was thankfully not as busy as the last and she shimmed through the people, snickered to herself, Harry was right she should lighten up a bit more in the chase, it was actually quite fun.

With a small smile she dived into a small dead end alley, a smile which soon left her face as she spotted her only hide out. She clambered quickly into a large green bin and gritted her teeth, she cursed violently as the smashed glass blades cut through her pale skin and she slammed the lid down upon herself, closing her in the dark.

The intoxicating smell of wine and beer filled her nose and she threw up next to her, trembling tiredly in the pitch black, the was only one thing left to do and that was to wait.

Half an hour later, when she was sure she was going to pass out from the pain in her cramped legs, she threw the bin lid off and fell out of the glass bank, slivers of the green, brown and clear blades embedded in her skin and her clothes.

“Hiya stranger,” she looked up at the familiar voice and locked onto green eyes she rolled over and moaned in agony before allowing herself to be picked up with a sigh from Harry and letting the world of darkness greet her as she passed out.
