In the last chapter
A pink light surrounds the other two lights. They glowed brighter and brighter until everyone had to cover their eyes. When the light died down, everyone opened their eyes to see Hermione and Remus glowing in the mixed lights. “And you may kiss the bride.”

“About time.” Sirius whined. “The doggie is ssstttttrrrraaavvviiinnnggg.”
“Did you know that it is rude for a dog to eat near the dinner table?” Hermione joked.

“Oh my god. The baby just kicked.” Hermione said excitingly. She grabbed Remus’s hand and pressed up against where she felt the kick.
“You know that I love you, don’t you?” Remus asked, later after all the guests had left for the night. “I would do anything for you.” He caressed her face, slowly moving his hand down her body, moving over her breasts that swelled from her pregnancy. “Anything.” He put his hand on her stomach, feeling his baby move around. “Forever.”
“And I love you, Remus. More than anything in the world. I’m yours,” Hermione told him.
Remus growled lightly, and then leaned forward to capture Hermione’s lips in a passionate kiss.
“Always yours.”

5 years later
“Lucilla Eve Lupin! Not a step further or it’s no Uncle Sirius for you!” Hermione’s voice rang out.
“But Mama,” the young girl named Lucilla whined.
“No buts, we taught you some manners and we would like you to use them.” Beside her walked Remus, who was
fighting to swipe the grin off his face before his wife looked, “and I know you’re grinning Remus John Lupin.”
“Me? Grin?” Remus said, “Of course!”
Lucilla giggled as Remus walked up and picked her up.
2 years later
“REMUS LUPIN!” A muffle voice shouted. “Never AGAIN.”
“That’s what you said last time,” a voice said.
A light laugh sounded.
4 years later
“Why can’t I go to Hogwarts now, Ma?” a young boyish voice said over the loud din of 9 ¾ station.
“You haven’t gotten your letter yet, Jacques.” Hermione told him.
Some day in the future.
“I love you,” Remus whispered.
“I love you too,” Hermione whispered back
Always yours was the last thing both of them said before they took their last breath and went together into
death.
