"Guys, I'll meet you at the Three Broomsticks, okay? There's something I need to take care of first." Hermione told Harry and Ron on Saturday in Hogsmeade.

"It's not Malfoy and Zabini, is it?"

"No Ron. This is just something I have to take care of for myself, okay?"

"It's alright, 'Mione. How long will you be?" Harry asked.

"I'm not sure, actually. I shouldn't be longer than an hour though."

"Alright. We'll meet you in an hour then." Hermione smiled at Harry and turned to leave Hogsmeade.

She wasn't about to tell Harry and Ron but Draco and Blaise had decided to spend the day together in their dorm. She was happy for them, they seemed to be perfect for each other.

Hermione reached into her pocket to make sure she had the vial of Veritaserum from Snape's stores. She was sure with as much as he had that he'd never miss one little vial.

"Miss Granger."

Hermione entered the clearing to come face to face with, "Lucius Malfoy. I knew I'd seen that crest before." Her mind flashed to Draco's family ring.

"I knew you wouldn't agree if you knew it was me. I thought if you thought it was Draco you would."

"You were right. If you'll excuse me." She turned to walk away.

"Wait, please." Lucius reached out to grab her arm. "Here, just hold this and let me talk. Just a few minutes. Please?"

"That's the second time you've said please." Hermione turned back to him and took his wand as he offered it. "But I will insist that you drink this."

"Of course." Lucius took the Veritaserum she handed him and took a small drink, handing her back the vial.

"Okay, why did you contact me?"

"My wife is expecting another child. I do not want this one to grow up the way Draco did. I need to make sure the Order will not harm my wife and new child when they win this war. I have information that can help them."

"I thought you fell out of favor with the Dark Lord?"

"I have. Bellatrix has not. She brags to me when she's been drinking."

"Okay. What information do you have for me?"

"There is a spy in the Order. His name is Dedalus Diggle. He was giving the Dark Lord information on Potter's family and from inside the Order."

"Thank you, Lucius. I will tell Dumbledore. When you have anything else, write to me and sign it 'Luc', okay?"

"Absolutely."

"And should your wife write to me, I ask that she sign it 'Cissa'."

"Of course."

"Good. Write me when you have something else useful." Handing him back his wand, Hermione left Lucius in the clearing and went back to Hogsmeade and Harry and Ron.

She had to sit in the Three Broomsticks for 20 minutes before the boys showed up. The three friends spent the day wandering around the town until nearly dinner when they went back to the castle.

When Hermione went back to her dorm after dinner it was to find Draco and Blaise sitting, facing each other, on the window seat.

"How was Hogsmeande?" Blaise asked.

"It was... Hogsmeade. Hasn't changed." She smiled. "I'll be right back though. I have a letter to write real quick."

"We'll be here." Draco smiled. Hermione hurried to her room and wrote a letter to Dumbledore.

Headmaster,
There is an Order member who is a spy. He has been giving the Dark Lord information about Harry Potter's muggle family and from inside the Order of the Pheonix. His name is Dedalus Diggle.

Hermione left the note unsigned, not sure if Lucius had been told the correct information. She put the letter in her pocket to mail off later.

"So, how was your day today?" She asked the two Slytherins when she walked back into the common room.

"It was... productive, I suppose." Draco answered.

"How so?" She asked, turning the armchair to face them and sitting in it with her legs slung over one arm.

The two of them looked at each other for a moment. "Well, you don't know this, but we've been together for over a year. Before that we were just casual lovers and before that we were best mates. Anyway, we realized today that we're not... complete." Draco said.

"Don't misunderstand, Hermione. We do love each other very much. There's just... someone missing. As friends, we had Pansy. When we were just lovers and even now, Pansy's helped us stay in the background. Away from prying gossips. But we want someone to bring into our relationship. Someone else to love. Does that make sense?" Blaise asked.

"It does." Hermione turned pensive. "Do you know who you want?" She asked. They both nodded. "Then my advice is to get them. You are Slytherins, after all. Gently seduce them, though. Make sure they know that you do want a realtionship, not just a fling."

"Wait, you're encouraging us to enter a commited threesome relationship?" Draco asked.

"'Course I am. You're both my friends and I'll stand by any desicions you make. Just tell me two things. Witch or wizard and would they be open to a commited threesome relationship?"

"Witch and we think she will be." Blaise answered.

"Then the best of luck to the two of you." Hermione smiled at them.


A/N: Okay, for those of you who read my 'Circumstances of Change' story, I need help. It occured to me today that Potter Manor for the name of a castle is rather boring. SO if you have any new name suggestions, I will gladly take them and give you credit for them, of course. The next chapter, by the way, should be out later tonight or sometime tomorrow.
