Chapter Five

Three days, and 54 Draco caused injuries later, Harry was more then ready for the potion and spell to be ready. Hermione had decided, after listening to Harry whine for the past several days, that if she skipped the step to make the potion taste more tolerable, she could get Harry off her back sooner and into Draco’s waiting arms – and bed. But of course she hadn’t mentioned that last bit. All Harry knew was that she was trying to get him off her back.

Harry had agreed. As Savior of the Wizarding World, he had downed more then his fair share of foul-tasting potions, and having one more would surely not kill him. So later that day, he found himself in the Common Room of Gryffindor Tower, accepting the spell and not one but TWO potion bottles from Hermione.

“Hermione, WHY are there TWO bottles here?”

“I never said there would be only one!” Hermione claimed, truthfully. “What you have to do is get Draco to drink one, and within an hour, you have to drink the other. Then you recite the spell, and burn that paper. The spell had to be adapted a little to be specific to your cause, so if you don’t burn the paper, it wont seal the spell.” She finished.

“But Hermione, HOW am I supposed to get Draco to drink this!?”

“I suggest tricking Crabbe and Goyle into giving it to Draco.” She said, before turning and leaving the room fairly quickly. The last thing she wanted was for Harry to get any more choice bits of information from her.

Like, for example, the fact that this spell and potion combo would cause both boys to be drawn together with so much force they couldn’t help but get together in the end.

She grinned almost evilly and flopped down on her bed. Nothing had been done that didn't need doing.
