“Just couldn’t stay away could you?” Sirius remarked, leaning back far on the bench at the Gryffindor table.
“I didn’t choose Gryffindor. The hat put me here. It has nothing to do with you—Or James.” She added before Sirius could start teasing her again.
She brightened in an instant.
“Lily! Guess you’re my roommate for the next seven years. Can you handle it?” She asked, sliding in next to the smiling red-head. James took a keen interest in both.
“With the way you fight with your brother? I don’t think so.”
“C’mon. I love Sirius. Don’t I, Sirius? I love you.”
“I love you too.”
“Yeah? That’s so sweet. See, Lily? We love each other. You don’t have an obnoxious brother at home?”
“I actually have an older sister.” Her face had a sad expression.
“I feel your pain. Sister’s suck.” Sirius quipped.
“We just made up Sirius.”
“Yes. I forgot. You’re correct. You’re so lucky to have a sister, Lily.”
