For Me

I finally finished this chapter YAY!!! Sorry for the wait but school started and now I am swamped with homework, readings and projects, it's that wonderful =|. Anyways, enjoy!

‘Fred! Fred!’ Nuria yelled as she ran through the corridor. ‘Did you talk to Ron yet?’ She said breathlessly.

‘Ya, I just saw him a few minutes ago.’ Fred replied. ‘So, we are defiantly doing-’ He felt a sharp pain go through his feet. ‘What the bloody hell was-’

‘Good afternoon Professor Umbridge.’ Nuria said with a sickly sweet smile. ‘How has your day been treating you?’ Fred just looked at his girlfriend with complete shock. He has never seen her act this way and it scared him a little.

‘I’ve handed out a few detentions and gotten busy with next weeks work assignments, so I hope you are all ready to go. It will be very excited.’ Umbridge made a sort of face that looked like a toad trying to smile.

‘I bet it will be.’ Fred muttered under his breath.

‘What was that Mr. Weasley?’

‘I said I can’t wait till next weeks class Professor Umbridge.’ Fred had a weird smile on his face.

‘Well, then I will see you next class and I hope you do not get any detentions from me. Now good day to you Mr. Weasley and Miss Tristessa.’ Umbridge walked away telling off a couple who were making out in the hallway.

‘Good day to you, you ugly old toad.’ Nuria said with a sneer.

‘Now there’s my girlfriend. I was afraid you disappeared forever the way you talked to Umbridge.’ Fred kissed Nuria and put his arm around her waist.

‘It’s all an act and you know it.’ They started to walk down the hall to Nuria’s next class which was Arithmancy. ‘We are definitely doing this meeting right?’

‘Of course we are.’ Fred said with a big smile. ‘Imagine my younger brother is involved in doing a meeting that would go against toady back there. He is really shaping up to becoming a true Weasley.’

‘You’re proud of your brother. That’s sweet.’ She said smiling up at him.

‘I will be if only he just catches those goals before the next Quidditch match.’ Nuria rolled her eyes.

‘Men and their Quidditch, I will never understand it.’ Nuria said. ‘Anyways, here’s my class and I’ll see you at lunch.’ Nuria gave him a small kiss.

‘I can’t believe you’re still taking Arithmancy.’ Fred said still holding on to Nuria.
‘Me neither but ever since I got help from your brother Percy on how to study a couple of…’ Nuria stopped suddenly not realizing that she had said the name that made Fred mad. When she looked up, she noticed he wasn’t smiling anymore. ‘I’ll see you at lunch, alright love.’ She gave him another kiss.

‘Ya, I’ll see you at lunch.’ He let her go and walked away. Nuria bit her bottom lip hoping he wasn’t to mad at her and when he turned the corner she went into the classroom remembering what happened a few weeks before. She sat down at her desk next to her friends Leanne and Katie. She took out a quill and parchment knowing full well that her mind was not on the lesson.

~*~A few weeks ago~*~

‘Ria, are you almost done?’ Fred started to whine. ‘We are in my dorm room,’ he said slowly kissing her neck. ‘All alone, so we, and I mean you, shouldn’t be doing homework.’ Fred was happy that they were alone but annoyed that she would rather do homework then other things.

‘I, unlike you, would like to get good grades and make my mother happy.’ She said without pausing on what she was writing, yet loved having Fred’s lips on her neck. ‘And I also told you I was doing homework. So, stop pressuring me to stop, I’m almost done anyways I just have a foot to go.’

‘A foot?’ Fred flopped down onto his bed. ‘First, you take Arithmancy and now Ancient Runes. I didn’t think you were the brainy type.’

‘Oh shut up and let me finish you git.’ Nuria smiled at her boyfriend and went back into writing her essay on ‘Interpreting Runes from Different Countries.’ When she finally finished she packed up her stuff and laid down on Fred’s bed with her head on his chest.

‘So, why are you taking those classes?’ Fred asked linking his fingers with hers and stroking her hair. ‘I really didn’t think you were the brainy type.’

‘I wasn’t and I’m still not.’ She said looking up at him. ‘I thought it was interesting and getting help from your brother helped a whole lot. How’s Percy anyways? I haven’t heard from him since last year at the Tournament.’ Fred didn’t say anything. The hand that was stroking her hair suddenly became still. ‘Love, what’s wrong?’

‘Why do you want to know about Percy anyways?’ Fred asked with a stiff voice.

‘Because he is still a friend of mine.’ Nuria sat up in front him wondering why he got so hostile.

‘Well, if he’s such a friend then why hasn’t he sent an owl saying how he’s been?’ Fred was sitting up as well, his arms crossed over his chest and his face slowly turning red with anger. ‘Also, why is he sending my girlfriend messages?’ Nuria just sat there while Fred gave her an accusing stare. She couldn’t believe he felt so much animosity towards his older brother.

‘He could be busy, he does work at the ministry Fred.’ Nuria said feeling herself get angry. ‘And why does it bloody matter if he owls me? He is my friend and we have been friends since he tutored me in my 4th year. Also, Percy and I have been writing long before you and I started going out. I thought you knew that.’

‘I knew you guys were talking but I thought it was just about school. I didn’t think you guys were… friends.’ Fred said the last word in disgust.

‘What is the matter with you? You’re talking about your brother like he was the grim or something.’ Nuria felt angry and shocked.

‘What’s the matter with me? He’s the one with the bloody problem.’ Fred stood up and started to pace in front of her. ‘He’s the one that left our family. He thinks he’s all high and mighty because he has a higher position then dad. He thinks the ministry is bloody perfect.’

‘He left? But why?’ Nuria asked softly. Fred stopped pacing and just looked at her. He ran his hands through his hair and sighed.

‘Because he thinks that his family is less important then his career.’

‘He probably didn’t mean it. He loves you guys.’ Nuria placed her hand on his arm but took it away after seeing the look in his eyes.

‘Yes, of course he didn’t mean it. Like he didn’t mean for mum to cry when he left the house for good.’ Fred started his rant again and began to pace. ‘He didn’t mean to yell at dad...’

‘Ok, Fred I get it.’ Nuria interrupted feeling a bit scared by the way Fred was talking. ‘You never told me this. How was I supposed to know it was such a touchy subject for you?’

‘How was I supposed to know that you and my so called brother were “friends”?’ Fred had a small sneer on his face and Nuria knew that the fight seemed like it wouldn’t end.

‘You know what?’ She picked up her things and got off the bed. ‘I’m going to go. I’ll see you later once you’ve cooled off. I’ll probably be with Katie or Leanne.’ Before Fred said anything else she left his room.

‘Ria, you alright? You seem a bit distracted.’ Leanne asked softly to her friend. ‘Did you guys have a fight again?’ Ria just nodded her head and tried to copy the notes that the professor was putting on the bored.

‘Can we talk about this later? I don’t want us to get in trouble.’ Leanne nodded her head and they both went back to writing out the notes.

When the class ended both Leanne and Nuria went back to the common room to talk. Katie couldn’t join because, unlike Leanne and Nuria who had a free period, had to go to Muggle Studies.

The two went to their dorm room and just sat quietly on Nuria’s bed. Leanne wanted to ask but she knew better so she just waited for her friend to speak up.

‘It was about Percy again.’ Nuria finally started. ‘I didn’t realize what I said and well, you know how Fred gets. He didn’t want to seem mad but I knew he was.’ Nuria sighed.

‘Do you know the full story of it?’ Leanne asked.

‘I just know his mum is heartbroken, his dad is pissed and Percy left. He didn’t tell me much after that.’ Nuria just stared at the fire. ‘I was afraid to ask what exactly happened but I didn’t want him to get angry again.’ Nuria sat up straighter and looked at her friend. ‘You’ve seen Fred mad right?’ Leanne nodded her head in agreement. ‘Well, this was different, he seemed angrier. It was a bit scary really. I’ve never seen him act like this. I knew him and Percy didn’t really get along but I didn’t think Fred would dislike him so much.’

‘Well, if you want to know then why don’t to ask Ron or Ginny, maybe even George.’ Leanne suggested. ‘George has less of a temper then Fred, he might not blow up in your face.’ Nuria thought about it for a moment, thinking who would be better to talk to when the portrait door opened. Ginny came in with a few of her friends laughing.

‘Gin, can I talk to you for a moment?’ Nuria asked. Leanne got up off her seat making an excuse that she had some homework to do. Ginny told her friends that she would be up in a minute and came to sit down with Nuria.

‘Sure, what’s up?’ Ginny asked.

‘Well, I know this may seem personal but I just want to know what happened between your family and Percy over the summer.’ Nuria said looking a bit nervous. She noticed Ginny had a scowl on her face when Percy’s name was mentioned.

‘That prat. Why didn’t Fred tell you?’ Ginny asked.

‘Well, he just told me that Percy left and your parents are either mad or heartbroken, nothing else.’

‘It was because Percy got promoted to Junior Assistant to the Minister, even though he pretty much fucked up last year.’ Ginny said re-calling the fight.

It's a bit of a cliff hanger but the next chapter will hopefully be easier to write for me... as you can tell it's probably going to be about the fight lol. Anyways, don't forget the reviews!
