Sorry this is not Chapter three, which by the way is going slower than expected so I am going to edit, answer some questions and do some background. Hasha is actually a lot better than Adali. In the first chapter I actually said she was friends with Loki but I didn’t really get into it. Whether Adali comes back you’ll have to wait and see, if she does it will be much later in the story. The reason the positions of First-born Daughter and Son is so coveted is because they are the public face of the royal siblings. They have the most privileges and will inherit a good chunk of the King’s estates (of course all the other children won‘t ever have to work either though having no profession is frowned upon). The First-borns have the most prestige and have a plethora of opportunities in anything they may want to do, as well as being the most sought after for marriage.
I am going to go into Loki’s past because in the story itself Loki will not be going in to deep because he was extremely young and doesn’t remember much. Harry was actually abandoned a little more than a week after he was placed with the Dursleys. By that time he was barely alive as it was, the Dursleys were too busy watching TV and catering to Dudley to feed, clothe and change him. In the afternoon of the 9th day they actually went into the middle of the worst part of London found a dumpster in an alley and threw him in like the trash they thought he was. Lucky for Harry the Dursleys didn’t notice three homeless men at the end of the alley. They saw them throw something into the dumpster and hoping it was food they went to check it out. Finding the child they didn’t know what to do. They didn’t want to take him to the police afraid that they would be accused of kidnapping so they kept him. They ended up pick-pocketing a few rich idiots and got enough for baby formula and some clothes since he was naked when he was abandoned. They were able to take care of him for about a year and a half, by that time there was only one of the three guys still alive (one by freezing to death, the other from some illness) the third man was also dying of a combination of starvation and dehydration. Pretty much everything went to Harry so when the old man knew he wouldn’t make it he started to try to find someone who would take the toddler. The man got a little way out into a ritzy neighborhood before his strength started to give out. He went into an alley figuring he would nap then finish making his way to a better part of town. Sadly when he did go to sleep he didn’t wake up. When Harry couldn’t get him to wake up he got upset. Now Harry is very powerful even then so when he started to cry and there was nobody to comfort him he became more and more upset, this caused his magic to sort of call out for comfort. He unconsciously sent out a magical pulse yelling for anyone to come for him. That same day Genia was on her way to Diagon alley with her fiancée, Jaldir, to meet with a very expensive and exclusive tailor. They felt the pulse and quickly followed it (the pulse was so erratic, unrefined and desperate that the only one who could have sent must be a child). Finally when they found the origin of the pulse they couldn’t see anybody until they heard a sniffle coming from inside a stack of boxes. There they found a toddler around 2 and a half years old and a body. Figuring the body of the man had been the child’s caretaker when they took the child they took the body as well. Genia had looked to her fiancée pleadingly and he caved saying they would take the child and adopt him after the marriage. So they cancelled their appointment and rescheduled for the next week. They went back home to Arabia where they buried the old man. A month later they were married and a week after that Loki was adopted. Loki always knew about the old man who was buried in the royal graveyard. He frequently visited the grave wondering who the man was and how he came to care for Loki. And yes they will figure out who Loki is.
