Harry Potter And So It Begins

The next morning as they were preparing to begin their first official training session one of the female house elves popped in. "Lord Raven... Lord Raven the Longbottoms are under attack. The others have already gone ahead."

Raven turned and looked at Charlie. Without a word being spoken they both nod to each other. "You four back to the Mansion and stay there till we get back. Esmerelda go get Poppy, tell her to prepare for casualties." In a quick flash he and Charlie were both gone.

Harry and Ron were in the study playing wizards chest with hand carved marble and jade pieces that repaired themselves after use. Ginny and Angela were on the plushy leather couch talking about Hogwarts and the different Houses while Hermoine ready a book from one of the shelves. It had been more then two hours since most of the adults had left and there still had been no word from them.

A few minutes later there were a series of pops coming from the entrance hall down stairs. Everyone stopped what they were doing and as one entity they all rushed down the stairs to greet the Order and try to gather as much information as they could.

About half way down the stairs they could tell that none of the Order had escaped unharm, though the vast majority only had minor injuries. Remus smiled warily to them as they reached the bottom of the stairs. "Everyone's safe and thankfully there were no fatalities." He walked over to a chair in the sitting room and dropped into it from exhaustion. "Moody, Kingsly, Fred and Billy are the worst of the casualties but they'll all be fine withing a few days. Poppy's tending to them now." He saw the look of releif on Ron and Ginny's faces that their family was okay. "The upstairs family room's been converted to a clinic if you wish to visit them later." Remus added.

"The Longbottoms and the Bones were attacked at the same time to force us to divide our forces." The werewolf growled angerly.
"The plan would have worked too if Raven hadn't gone to the Bones' instead of the Longbottoms. How he knew it was a trap I don't know, but I'm glad he did."

"I was alerted to the attack on the Bones by the protection spell I had placed around the house." Raven answered as he entered the room. The sat down in the chair next to Remus and they could all see the scorch marks on his shirt from the battle. "After Amelia and The Tonks' death I placed a protection spell around the homes of all the families with members in the Order." They could all tell that he was extremely tired. He smiled reassuringly at them. "I'll be fine after I rest awhile." He chuckles to himself. "Fae resistance does have its advantages, but getting hit with stunning spells and killing curses still hurts like hell and can take alot out of you."

"Given the current situation the Bones and Longbottoms will be staying here till the wars over." Raven informed them. "Aunt Relina's brining them through the woods now and they should be here shortly." He looks at Remus. "I'm goning to bring this up at the meeting tonight but I wanted to let you know first. I want the entire Order and their families to come to the island till this is over."

"I understand," Remus replied. "They've proven that we're vounerable and that they can get to us at anytime." He looks at Raven and the young man can see the look of consern in his eyes. "What about Tonks?" He askes. "You know she refuses to set foot on the island and has stopped attending meetings since we relocated here."

Raven slump further into his chair. "I know and I wish she didn't feel that way." The look of pain on his face was obvius to everyone around him. "I'll habe Charlie go talk to her after the meeting tonight. Maybe he can get her to listen to reason."

"And if she doesn't listen to him?" Remus asks.

"Then I'll send Aunt Minnerva and Molly to talk some sense into her. If that doesn't work there's always plan B."

"What's plan B?" Ginny asked. She didn't undertand what was going on or why Tonks wouldn't come to the Island.

Raven took a deep breath to center himself before answering. "Plan B is were I stun her and bring her here whether she likes it or not."

Before anything else could be said the front door opened and they all went to greet the new arrivals.
