Deadly Love

Draco nodded, remaining silent for once. They sat there for what seemed like hours. Neithe of them saying a single word to each other. Finally Meela broke the silence," Come let's go for a walk. I grow weary of this house." Draco rose to his feet and offered her his hand," Do you wish to walk in the gardens?" She shook her head and placed her hand in his," No let's go somewhere else." He helped her to her feet," Where might I ask do you want to go then?" She shrugged, leading him towards the doors," I was thinking Diagon Alley." Despite the fact that Draco knew more about Meela he still found that she was full of surprises. He didn't know how she knew about the wizarding world or if she had been a witch when she was human. He desperatly wanted to find out though.
Meela and Draco went to Diagon Alley. They did not take the family car like Narcissa would have wanted them to. Meela had insisted that they run to Diagon Alley. Draco did not understand what she meant at first. She explained that vampire's could move at the speed of light. Which was obviously very fast. Draco didn't believe her at first but then she showed him what she meant. He believed her after that. They arrived at Diagon Alley to see that it was still bustling with life. Almost all of the shops were still open, only Flourish and Blotts was closed. Meela hooked her arm through Draco's as they began to walk. Draco could sense people staring at them and whispering to each other. He had enhanced hearing so he could hear everything going on around him.
Meela leaned her head towards his and whispered," Pretend that you don't hear them." Draco nodded slowly and whispered back," Of course pet." She rolled her eyes once he called her pet. One of the habits he had gotten from her was her habit of using pet names for everyone. It annoyed to her to her wit's end. She nudged her hip against his," Behave." He laughed and took her hand in his," I wouldn't dream of not behaving my darling Meela." She shook her head as they walked past Leaky Cauldron.
"MALFOY!MALFOY!" shouted someone from behind them. Draco tensed up at the sound. It was Blaise Zambini! Meela looked over her shoulder then up at Draco," Who's the pretty boy?" Draco rubbed his temple in hopes to stop the headache that was suddenly coming on," His name is Blaise Zambini he goes to school with me." Meela's ruby red lips curved into a wicked smile. Her eyes began to dance with mischeif. Draco noticed and shook his head,"Don't you dare!" Meela giggled, clearly amused at the situation,"I wouldn't dream of it my darling Draco." Draco was about to open his mouth to scold her but Blaise had already reached them. The couple turned to face the Italin boy.
"Where have you-who is this?" asked Blaise, staring at Meela. Draco resisted the urge to smack his forehead with the palm of his hand," Blaise meet Meela. Meela meet Blaise." Meela put on a charming smile and held her hand out to him. Blaise took her hand and kissed it," It's a pleasure to meet you." Meela pretended to look flattered," The pleasure is all mine I assure you." Draco was already growing tired of this game that Meela was playing. He cleared his throat rather loudly before saying," Meela we are going to be late! William is waiting for us!" Meela glared at him at the name William. Blaise released Meela's hand," Who is William?" Meela opened her mouth to make up some lie. Before she could Draco had already opened his mouth," William is Meela's fiancee."
Blaise's face fell instantly. Meela had an angry look on her face. She clenched her jaw to control herself. Draco patted her hand sweetly," We best be going." He nodded curtly to Blaise before leading Meela away. Meela waited for them to be out of Blaise's ear range before saying," How dare you! I cannot believe that you would tell Blaise that I am engaged! TO WILLIAM!" Draco didn't even flinch instead he seeemed to be amused. He wrapped his arm around her waist," Oh, is someone upset that they don't have a new plaything?" Meela opened her mouth to show him her fangs and hissed. Draco glanced around, hoping that no one had seen it. He couldn't have any of his friends finding out that she was a vampire. If they did then there would be hell to pay.
They continued to walk, occasionly stopping to look in a shop. Meela suddenly asked," Are those friends of yours?" She was looking to her left. Draco looked in the same direction that she was. His eyes grew wide once he realized that it was the "golden trio".
