Beautify Me Love

Author's Note: Well I've had a lot of trouble with putting this chapter up. I had it 95% completed then my computer shut down and it wasn't saved. Then while trying to upload it my internet connection gave out not once, not twice, but THREE times and I had to edit each time. I'm now on my fourth try of putting it up and its late, so I'm sorry if I miss any mistakes. Its late and I have to go into the city tomorrow so I need to get up early.

Thanks to all that reviewed and because you're all dying to know, there will be some major Draco/Hermione action in the near future.

Let the Bad Parts In
Chapter Four: Beautify Me Love

The next morning Hermione walked into the bathroom and started brushing her teeth. She stared at her reflection. After she finished with her teeth she picked up her hairbrush. Slowly she pulled it through her hair. After ten minutes of trying to get her hair to calm down she sighed heavily. Malfoy's words echoed through her head tauntingly. She grabbed a fist full of hair and tried to play and style it. She wasn't going to lie, what he had said the night before bothered her a bit…okay a lot. Her hair wasn't THAT bad, right?

She ran her hands over her hair harshly, trying desperately to flatten it. She sighed in defeat when it just puffed up again with small wisps of hair flying everywhere. Oh, who was she kidding? She was in dire need of hair makeover. But what could she do? Granted she could make the same potion she used in her Fourth Year but she thought that it made her hair rather flat and it was a pain in the ass to make. With another sigh, Hermione put her head on her hands and gazed into the mirror.

Suddenly an idea popped into her head. She figured out the solution to her problem and she went by the name of Lavender Brown.

"Oh Hermione! I’m so glad you came to me for help! I've wanted to do something with your hair since our First year!" Lavender squealed as she sat Hermione down in front of the sink so her back was facing it. "Oh you're going to love it once its done! I can't wait!"

"Honestly, Lavender, I can't thank you enough! I don't know how I’m going to repay you for this." She said with a smile.

"Oh its nothing! Just help me with on the next Transfiguration test and we'll call it even, okay?" she giggled as she pushed Hermione back so her head was resting on the edge of the sink.

After two potions, a few wash, rinse, repeat cycles, and a quick drying spell Lavender declared that Hermione was cured of bad hair, but before Hermione could get up Lavender pushed her back down.

"Oh not yet, Hermione." She laughed as she started to search through her large bag of make up. "I'm giving you a totally new look! You're going to love me in the end!"

"Lavender, you really don't have-"

"Hermione let me do this for you, as a friend." She pleaded.

"Fine," she sighed. "But don't go too overboard!"

"Trust me Hermione, you're going to be gorgeous!" she squealed as she started to attack Hermione's eyebrows with a twizer.

After another half hour of being beautified by Lavender Brown, Hermione was finally allowed to view herself in the mirror. When she turned around she gasped at her reflection.

Her hair was no longer a bushy mass of frizzy curls; it was smooth and glossy. Her hair was still in curls but now they were much calmer and looser, falling gently over her shoulders and down her back. Her make up was natural with shades of pink and light browns to bring the golden hues out of Hermione's eyes.

"You like it?" Lavender asked. "I was thinking about making your hair straight but I just think curls suit you." She explained, fixing a few of Hermione's stray hairs.

"Lavender, its perfect!" Hermione exclaimed. She jumped up from her seat and hugged the other girl. "Thank you so much!"

Lavender hugged her back, happy that her friend was pleased with her work. "I can't wait to see how Harry and Ron react once they see it! Oh god! Think of the look on their faces once they see you!"

Hermione laughed. "Knowing them, Ron will stare dumbly with his mouth full of food and Harry will just…well I honestly don't know how he would react. He's not as predictable as Ron is."

"Well, lets not worry about them, lets get to more important things, shall we?"

Lavender, then taught Hermione different way to do her hair and to apply her make up. She gave her a few extra bottles of make up to hold her over until she could go out and get some more from Hogsmeade and gave her a list of ingredients for the potion for her hair, which she would have to reapply every four to six months.

After her quickly lesson on beauty treatments Hermione quickly made her way to the Common Room, trying to avoid the few people in the castle. She wanted her new look to be a surprise to all her friends and didn't want anyone ruining. After taking a few secret shortcuts that Harry had shown her on the map the twin's gave him, she made it the portrait in record time.

As soon as Hermione made it in to the Common Room she ran up stairs to the her room. She couldn't wait to see everyone's response to her change, especially Malfoy. He was the sole reason behind her new look after all. With a sigh she placed her bag down gently on the old wooden dresser top in her room. She carefully took out all the bottles, brushes, and powders Lavender gave her and set them neatly in front of the antique mirror. When she was done, Hermione stepped back to admire herself in the old mirror. She smiled pleasantly at her self.

Perfect, simply perfect.

Before Hermione knew it, it was time for dinner. She stopped doing her notes and walked over to her closet. She changed out of her old sweats into her uniform and stood to look at herself in the mirror and frowned. Her face and hair was pretty but the rest of her looked horrible. She studied herself some more and came to the conclusion that she looked like she was drowning in her uniform. With a smirk she took in her vest and shirt a little, making it more snug and form fitting and shrank the skirt so it was a few inches above her knees instead of below them. When she was finished she glanced at herself in the mirror and smiled at how mature and grown up she looked.

She jumped when she heard a bang, signaling her roommate had left to go eat dinner. She reapplied her makeup and fixed her hair before going downstairs. After wasting another five minutes organizing some notes left on a desk she went downstairs for dinner. Just as she hoped the halls were completely empty.

When she finally arrived at the huge oak doors she took a deep breath. She could hear the muffled voices from the other side and immediately regretted wanting a big entrance to show off to everyone. With another sigh she straightened her shoulders and pushed on the doors.

At first when she entered, no one really seemed to notice her, but as she got closer to the Gryffindor table the room slowly started to quiet down and everyone was whispering to each other. Hermione rubbed her arm nervously as she came around to the table, the feeling of thousands of eyes watching her started to upset her stomach. Finally, after what seemed to be a five mile walk through hell, she made it to her spot between Ron and Harry. As expected Ron stared at her with his mouth full of half eaten mashed potatoes falling out of his mouth and Harry just stared stupidly at her.

"'Mione is that really you?" asked Harry in disbelief.

"Well who else would it be?" she laughed nervously, playing with one of the curls while staring down at her empty plate.

"Bloody hell Hermione, what did you do to yourself?" Ron cried, staring at her as if she just sprouted five heads and claimed to be the heir to Salazar Slytherin himself.

Harry sent Ron a look over the top of Hermione's head. By, now most of the people had gone back to their original conversations, but Hermione could still here a few whispering about her. This of course made her feel even more uncomfortable.

"I just though I needed a change, Ron, okay? Now, drop it. I don't want to talk about it!" she snapped.

"Well I think you look wonderful, 'Moine." Harry told her, sensing her discomfort.

"Thank you Harry, but honestly guys. I like the way I look and I'm not changing so let' just drop the subject and move onto something else, please?" She pleaded as she started to load some food on her plate.

Their conversation then launched back to its normal topics of girls, Quidditch, Snape, Quidditch, girls, homework, Quidditch, and girls. Obviously the boys did most of the talking. Hermione just smiled as she listened to them bicker about the latest Quidditch game.

Soon the main dishes disappeared and were replaced by the desert dishes. Ice creams of all different flavors, candy, cookies, brownies, and any other sweet imaginable appeared in front of them. Hermione reached over and filled a bowl with vanilla ice cream. As she sat back down she felt someone staring at her. She looked up and her eyes met with the Slytherin prince himself.

Draco and Hermione stared across at each in silence. He smirked at her and noticeably looked her over. Hermione glanced down at her ice cream for a second and took a small bite and 'accidentally' got some on her lip. She sensually licked it off her lip and smirked at him. Without looking at his reaction she turned her full attention back to Harry and Ron's conversation about their Quidditch practice that night.

Soon dinner was over and Hermione made her way back to the Common Room. She felt very proud and confident about herself when she walked through the portrait hole. She couldn't wait to hear what Malfoy was going to say to her new look. When she walked in though she faltered, the room was dim with the giant fire being the only source of light. Malfoy seemed to be no where sight. Maybe he had rounds tonight and forgot to tell her. She shrugged it off and started walking towards the archway that lead upstairs.

"Well it seems someone got a head start on their homework." A voice teased from behind her.

Hermione whipped around to find that no one was there. She took a deep breath to calm her nerves, turned around, and opened her mouth to scream when she came in contact with someone's chest. Quickly realizing it was Malfoy she closed her mouth, not making a sound. She stepped back so she could look him in the eyes.

He was leaning against the archway with his arms crossed over his chest. He had taken off his vest off, un-tuck his shirt, tie loosened around his neck, and rolled up his sleeves showing off his Dark Mark and nicely toned pale arms. He stared down at her, smirking at her.

"What do you want Malfoy?" she asked pretending to be pissed. Secretly she was pleased to see him.

"Just came to grade your homework is all." He stated calmly, his smirk never leaving his face.

"That’s good, now if you don't mind I would like to go up to my room." She sidestepped him to go up the stairs but he stuck his arm out blocking her from the stairs.

"And where do you think you're going?" he demanded, straightening up and looking down at her as though to remind her who was more powerful in the situation.

"I already told you that I'm going to my room. I think you're starting to go deaf Malfoy, you might want to go get that check out." She teased.

"Shut up." He hissed and shoved her against the wall.

He didn't shove her roughly but she knew he was trying to show her that he was going to be the one in control here. That made her angry. No one controlled her. She was about to open her mouth when his covered hers, stopping any of her protests.

He kissed her violently yet passionately. He ran his hands up and down her sides roughly. She moaned into his mouth as his tongue played with hers. Suddenly he picked her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist. He put her down on the desk with a thump and moved his mouth to her neck. He licked and bit her leaving dark bruises up and down her necks. They parted briefly so he could take her vest off. She wrapped her hand around his green and sliver tie and pulled him for another kiss. His hands moved quickly to unbutton the top buttons of her shirt and pull it down over her shoulders. Once her arms were freed from the sleeves of her shirt she started to unbutton his. She got to middle of his shirt before he started to massage her breast through her bra. She gave a throaty moan and arched her back. Hermione gave up on his shirt and put her hands on his waist. She pulled him in and grinded herself into him making him groan in wait. Her hands then traveled to his belt buckle and almost had it undone when there was a load knock at the door.

"Hey Drakey, are you there?" called an annoying voice through the portrait. "Hello?"

Draco and Hermione jumped apart from each other (well Hermione tried, it was kinda hard to do while sitting on a desk) and stared at each other in shock. Hermione glanced from him to door then back again. His gaze ventured to the door when there was another knock. He looked back at Hermione who was staring back at him. Her skirt was pushed up to her mid-thigh, her swollen lips partly open, neck bruised, and shirt half off and her black bra strap was hanging off her shoulder. It was, absolutely, the sexiest thing that he's ever seen.

There was another loud knock that brought him out of his day dream. "Well what are you waiting for? Get up stairs!" he hissed at her. Hermione jumped at his voice. She quickly grabbed her vest and hoped off the desk, not even bother to fix her shirt.

He watched her walk away then decided to reached over and grabbed her arm. He pulled her towards him and gave her a soul searing kiss. He snuck his hand into her bra and grabbed her breast then teasingly squeezed her hard nipple. She yelp in surprise and he bit her lip to tell her to be quiet. He quickly pushed her away and nodded towards the stairs.

She walked backwards a bit; her eyes never leaving his then turned around and hurried up the stairs. When she finally made it to her room shut and locked the door. She leaned against it panting. Listening carefully she heard Draco talking to Pansy before the portrait door slamming shut.

With a sigh she dropped her vest and took the rest of her shirt off. Hermione walked over to the mirror and gazed at her neck. She gently touched the bruised bite marks he left and her swollen lips. She smiled to herself and ran a delicate finger over one large mark and she couldn't help the feeling of pride overwhelming her.

Then it accured to Hermione that Draco never told her what her grade was on her homework. She glanced at the bruises again, well she was sure that she passed with flying colors.
