"Longbottom!!" cried Draco, his jaw dropping.
Ron closes his eyes.. grabs his chest and says... "Bloody Hell, Harry or whatever the hell your name is.. Quit doing that!!! I can't handle anymore surprises."
Neville and Eneto shared a look that spoke volumes. There were many more surprises coming. The others just didn't know it yet. Hopefully they would be able to handle them.
Neville had grown up from the shy boy who blew up cauldrons and stuttered his way through his classes, afraid of everything and everyone. Harry had been his one true friend, and when he’d disappeared, Neville felt alone and adrift in life. He and the other Gryffindors had rallied together and held strong through the storms of Voldemort's return. Then, to everyone’s horror, came Headmaster Dumbledore's attempt to set him up as the new Boy-Who-Lived, in the prophecy.
His Gran had held strong against man. She wasn't going to see her Grandson used as a pawn against the Darkness rising in their world, especially by Albus Dumbledore. She never had much to say about the old man, only that he saw possibilities instead of people.
Neville remember feeling deathly ill in the months before he turned seventeen, the age of his magical maturity. Madam Pomfrey was totally flummoxed. The dedicated mediwitch had never seen anything like what Neville was suffering. It wasn’t until his Gran moved him to St. Mungo's and he was placed into to a warded room, away from the outside world-and it’s influences, including Albus Dumbledore. When the door closed, Dumbledore was standing outside looking grim.
It wasn’t until much later, after he had recovered and had time to process what had happened to him, that he realized what Dumbledore’s expression that day had meant. He knew exactly what was happening and had no intention of lifting a hand to stop what was happening to him and prevent it from hurting him.
Or from killing him.
Inside the warded room waiting to help him, were three goblins, and three men in hooded robes. He would later find out that one of the men was an adult Harry Potter, who had been alerted of his condition and had come to help him release his magical core. A recuperating Neville spent the summer learning many things. He and his Gran were sworn to secrecy. She was just grateful to not lose her grandson and last link to her son and daughter-in-law. He couldn't answer the Brotherhood’s Call until he graduated from Hogwarts. His education was one reason, and the other--the main one, was Albus Dumbledore.
When his core was unleashed, Neville experienced a freedom he had never known. The world was at his beck and call. The plants sang to him. The trees spoke in a language he could understand. The earth hummed under his feet. He was Mother Earth's protector--a role he embraced joyfully.
"So Neville has always known where you were?" Ron asked, in an icy tone, glaring at his fellow Gryffindor.
Eneto knew that tone. Ron was upset, and he really could not blame him. "I had an Oath to uphold, Ron. It was only now, that I could come to you."
"What do you mean, Eneto?" Hermione asked watching her other best friend hug himself, and moved to stand beside him. She rubbed Ron’s back in comfort as she waited for Eneto to answer her question.
Eneto and Neville exchanged a series of glances and nods, "Ron, I have so much to tell you. So much for you to learn. But you have to understand. I begged and pleaded with Dumbledore to let me see you and Hermione before I left. He refused to allow it. All he kept repeating was how much of a disappointment I was to him and the Wizarding World. That I had blood on my hands from all the people Voldemort had killed. He said I should have been able to fight off Voldemort and win. He refused to take into account that I was only a terrified fourteen-year-old boy, destined to do something an adult wizard wasn’t even capable of."
Remus rose from his place beside Lucius. "When this is over, Eneto, Dumbledore will pay for the wrongs he's committed. But you have to understand, we searched far and wide for you. Sirius was beside himself and would go days without eating or sleeping. You were the one reason he had to keep living."
Eneto looked to Sirius and felt the guilt roll through him. "I'm sorry Siri for the pain and hurt I caused you…all of you. But I won't apologize for what I did. I found a place I could be a normal child… a kid, for the first time in my life. I could be just me-not some hero of the Wizarding World. I didn't have to work like a house elf, or go without food for days at a time, or be beaten, because my Uncle thought I did some freakish thing again. There were no dangerous tasks I had to complete, or beasts to defeat. I was cared for, held… and loved… for just being me."
"Oh Harry." Sirius’ voice broke as he grabbed his godson and held him close, tears streaming down his face, and his shoulders shaking. Remus stepped forward and wrapped his arms tightly around the both of them, fighting a tightness in his chest. This was his missing cub who’d finally come home. The three men stood together, savoring the renewal of their bond, letting the moment calm them, as everyone watched quietly.
"I'm not letting you out of my sight. So you're stuck with me, Harry. Eneto. Whatever. Just give an old man some time to adjust." Sirius wiped at his wet cheeks and eyes, as he attempted a watery smile.
Eneto smiled at them both. ”I love you, Siri…and you too, Remus. Take all the time you need. I don’t plan on going anywhere again anytime soon.” Eneto placed a warm loving kiss on each man’s cheek. Merlin! He had missed them so much. His only family in this world, and he fully intended to never break contact with them ever again.

Tom Riddle, also known as Lord Voldemort, was pacing the confines of the parlor in Lestrange Manor. Tonight's fiasco was nothing more than a loss. The Brotherhood was a formidable enemy; a powerful organization not to be underestimated.
He had done his research before approaching them, and assumed that with the temptation of additional power, they would be more amenable to join him. But no, they were admirable and full of righteousness; an organization that upheld the beliefs of King Arthur and his Knights. Their ideals would move them to stop him from obtaining his goal of immortality.
He growled and slammed his fist on the table in frustration, causing his guard to flinch at the sudden explosive sound.
He wanted to see that interfering old wizard, Dumbledore on his knees, at his feet, suffering. He had done more than his share of damage to Tom’s plans in the past, and he was still a problem-one that had to be eliminated.
Tom walked to the large mirror on the far wall, stopping in front of it to study his reflection. The image looking back at him was an old but familiar one. Gone were the hideous serpentine features, scaled skin, and androgynous body. A handsome middle-aged wizard, with smooth skin, curling auburn hair and rich hazel eyes, stared back at him. His hair brushed his collar, and his face was framed with a trim beard and mustache. Stepping back, he surveyed his body that was now most obviously male, muscular and toned, and clothed in rich robes of velvet.
Stepping back, he surveyed his body that was now most obviously male, muscular and toned. Yes, his charisma only added to his…
His reverie was interrupted when he heard a sharp knock on the doors.
"Enter!"
A petite woman dressed in elegant bronze robes, glided into the room. Her hip-length, flaming red hair flowed around her body as she moved gracefully across the room to stop in front of him. She dropped immediately to the floor and bowed her head, waiting for him to speak.
He reached down to her, gently lifting her chin until her eyes locked with his. He held out his hand. She lifted her hand to place it elegantly into his. Helping her to her feet, he leaned in and brushed a kiss against those red lips.
“My Ginevra.”

A gong sounded through the complex, Neville and Eneto waved their hands, the occupants of the room were wearing the same robes as them without the emblem.
Ron looked down at his clothes, "What's going on?"
"Its time for you to understand exactly why I came back when I did," Eneto said.
"If you will follow us. Don't say anything until you are spoken to," Neville said as they followed Eneto out of the room. Severus walking at his side.
The former Gryffindor smirked, a lover at the side of the heir. One who would carry two swords. One to fight with, the other to protect his lover in battle.
As they grew closer, they could hear singing, voices raised in chants and calling of souls. Drums beating with step they took.
What was happening?
As they grew closer two large double doors opened of their own accord, swinging inward. Severus felt a pull. A call.
"The sword has called once more my friends," Eneto said has he stepped into the room.
The Hogwarts contignent stood in awe. In the center of the hall was a round table. They watched as Eneto and Neville stook places behind chairs around the table. In moments all but a few spots were filled.
They watched as one all the men and women pulled their swords. "At this round table we are all equal. Let us not forget those who have passed on before us. May we honor their memories and their deeds," Eneto said. Then he lowered his sword to the table, blade flat and pointed away. Then one by one the others did the same.
When the last blade was placed, the table glowed. The power grew in the room bringing gasps from the new arrivals.
Severus was watching the room, learning it. Feeling the power and age swirl around him. Welcoming him home.
Home. He had finally come home.
"Severus Snape."
The dark man turned to who was calling him to see three woman standing behind the round table. Right behind Eneto.
Priestesses of Avalon. Then it hit him and by the looks of his companion's faces, it dwelled on them as well. They were being called by the Brotherhood. The Sword of Arthur found them pure enough and brave of heart to join them.
Oh Merlin, Albus Dumbledore was going to just choke on his lemon drops on this one!!!
