Here's Mud in Your Eye
Bryn stared out the window. She had just notified Kingsley (actually, she tried to go back to work and he wouldn’t let her) and he said that he would “look into it.” Whatever that is supposed to mean. And then he’d all but patted her on the head and told her to go play outside afterwards!
She growled, it had been a long time since anyone had been so disrespectful to her. Telling her that she shouldn’t worry about it now, telling her that she should go home and forget about work for a while. Well, she decided to do exactly that, just to spite him.
A tapping noise could be heard and she looked up. A tawny owl was waiting outside impatiently. Hopping up, she opened the window and let the bird in. Shutting it again, she almost caught a few of his tail feathers in her haste to keep out the chilly autumn air.
Removing the parchment, she saw it was from Sirius and smiled. Putting a few treats down for the owl, she sat and began to read.
Would you like to go to dinner with me again?
Sirius
It looked as if he’d scribbled it as fast as he could, there was an ink spot in the corner, and his name had been smudged. Wondering about what he’d been doing at the time, she pulled out a piece of parchment and a quill.
I’d love to, I had a good time last night. When and where?
Bryn
Blowing on it, she let it dry before folding it neatly. Looking at the owl, she waited a few minutes for him to warm up before sending him off into the cold with her reply. Smiling to herself, she hurried upstairs to get ready.
A short while later, a knock sounded on the door. Hearing the dog bark, she hurried downstairs and peeked out a window before letting Sirius in. He looked at her jeans and jumper, making her blush.
“I’m sorry, I haven’t changed because I didn’t know where we were going. You never wrote me back.”
Sirius nodded and grinned. “Well, how about staying casual tonight, then? I think we can find a place around here to get a bite to eat.”
Bryn thought for a moment. “Well, there’s a burger place about a mile from here, a restaurant with a decent shepherd’s pie down a bit further from that, or we could go to a little café by the river that has excellent sandwiches.” She replied as she got a jacket.
Sirius held it for her as she put it on and replied, “How about that café? I’m in the mood for a sandwich.” Bryn nodded and he continued. “The river is about a mile away, right? So why don’t we walk? It’s a lovely evening.” Bryn smiled and looped her arm through his as they headed out into the night.
Sirius set his sandwich down and gazed out onto the water, a smile playing on his lips. Bryn swallowed a bite of her ham sandwich and asked, “What?”
Shaking himself from his reverie, Sirius answered, “Hmm? Oh, nothing. I was just thinking. It’s rather funny actually.”
Bryn waited for him to continue, and when he didn’t she set her food down and asked, “What is rather funny?”
Frowning, he scratched his head. “Erm, well it’s not funny, really. I was just thinking how you’re only five years older than my godson, that’s all. Some might say you’re too young for me.”
“Oh? Too young for you how, Sirius? Just because I beat you in our race to get down here? I admit, it wasn’t fair that you got a head start; but, in the end, it didn’t really matter, did it?” Bryn shot him a coy smile, sweeping her hair behind her shoulder.
Sirius smiled and crossed his arms. “Hey, I’d have run just as fast if I had to train daily like you do. Really though, you are rather young. I don’t know how I would tell Harry what I think of you.”
Bryn’s eyebrows shot up, she hadn’t expected this. “Oh? And just what do you think of me, Mr. Black?”
He swallowed and took a minute before answering her. “Well, I think that you are by far the most beautiful creature I have ever laid eyes on and I would be daft not to want to kiss you, among other things.” He reached over and took her hand, giving her an unsure smile, before raising it to his lips. He brushed a feather-light kiss over it, his full lips sending a shot of warmth throughout her body.
She stared at him wide-eyed for a moment before blushing and biting her lip. Looking away, she regained her composure. “Well, you certainly know how to flatter a girl, Mr. Black.” Looking back at him, she blushed again when she saw he was staring intently at her.
“No, flattery is nothing but empty words and false promises. What I said is the truth.” Tilting her chin up, he continued. “You are absolutely exquisite.”
Shaking himself, he sat back. “I’m sorry, I’m not usually this forward.”
Bryn cleared her throat, feeling strangely giddy. “No, Sirius, you have nothing to apologize for. Any woman would love to hear a man say these things.” She smiled at him, willing the fluttering in her stomach would go away.
He stood suddenly and held out his hand to her. “I know it sounds somewhat cliché, but shall we go for a walk along the water? The moon is so bright tonight, I’d hate to go indoors at the moment.”
Bryn picked up a stone and inspected it. It was disk-like, flat on both sides and just right for her hand. Skimming it across the water, she counted the number of times it bounced before finally stopping with a splash and a “plunk.”
Sirius whistled next to her. “Five times, that beats my highest number tonight. I don’t know why I can’t find a good stone. All of the ones I’ve found tonight are round.”
Bryn giggled at him and scanned the ground for another one. “You’ve found plenty of flat ones tonight that SHOULD have done quite well. You’re just shite at skimming stones.”
Picking up another one, he tried again. It shot out across the moonlit water, bouncing twice before falling into the water for good. He stared out at the glittering waves it caused, trying to remember how he did it in school. Sighing, he glanced over to see Bryn right at the edge of the river, stooped down and gathering up stones. Picking up a large, round one next to his boot, he aimed just right. The resulting shriek as Bryn was drenched in the water it displaced caused him to bark out a laugh.
Standing up, she put her hands on her hips and glared at him. “Sirius Black! What on earth was that for?”
He grinned at her, enjoying the way her jeans were clinging to her, and replied, “I was just trying to skim it. Should I have throw it farther?”
Bryn gave him a sarcastic smile that transformed into a devious one. Sirius didn’t have any time to react before she pulled out her wand and sent him sailing into a huge expanse of mud. “I don’t know, Sirius,” she replied. “You tell me.”
He looked down at his form, brown paste covered him from the chest down. Laughing again, only much harder than before, he tried to stand. The mud happened to be extremely slippery, however, and he fell face-first back into it. Bryn started laughing at him and he pulled his own wand out.
“Oh really, Miss Wright? Does this amuse you? Well then, why don’t you join me?” He pointed his wand at her. “Accio Bryn!”
She landed with a thump next to him. Picking up a glob of mud, she flung it at him. “Okay, now we’re even. And yes, it does amuse me. No, for your information, I wouldn’t really want to join you right now. Thank you for asking.”
Sirius ineffectually wiped the mud off his face and pushed her into it before making his way to solid ground. “Oh dear, I thought you’d want to. After all, isn’t mud supposed to be good for the face? Muggle women use it all the time.”
Bryn threw more mud at him and struggled to dry land. “Yes, but they use special mud, not just anything they can find. And I severely hope there weren’t any leaches in there, or we’ll both be in trouble.” She glanced down her body and grimaced.
Sirius followed her up to her porch and smiled. “I had a lot of fun tonight.”
Bryn unlocked her door and turned around. “Yeah, me too.” She glanced down at his mud caked form and smirked. “Of course, I always had fun playing in the mud when I was little. At least now my mom can’t send me to my room for doing it.”
Sirius grinned and nodded. Taking a step closer, he cleared his throat. “So, erm… would you like to do this again? Maybe next week?”
Bryn smiled back at him. “Sounds fantastic. Next time, let’s make a pact to stay clean.”
Barking out a laugh, Sirius agreed. “Yes, no getting dirty. How about we go to London for dinner? I can get us reservations at The Capital. I have heard that they serve excellent lamb.”
Bryn bit her lip and nodded. “Sounds lovely.” She noticed he took another step forward and blushed.
Sirius smiled. “Then, Tuesday at six?” She nodded and his smile got a tiny bit bigger. “I’ll see you then.” He bent down and kissed her, his lips grazing hers.
Bryn felt as if she would melt from that touch alone. When he pulled back, she pressed forward and found his mouth again, willing the pool of desire she felt to transfer to him. His mouth opened and she eagerly explored it with her tongue, he tasted heavenly.
Sirius groaned and put his hands around her waist, pulling her closer to him. His kiss was hungry, mirroring her own feelings. When she felt as if her knees would give way, he broke the kiss.
Looking up at him, she felt the familiar heat flooding her face once more. “Um, I’ll see you next week, then.”
Sirius smiled down at her and released his hold on her. “Yeah, I’ll see you.” He ran a hand through mud caked hair and winced when he came to a clump. “Erm, goodbye.”
Bryn bit her lip and went inside. Closing the door, she slumped back against it and sighed. Wow, but that man could kiss. Touching her lips, she smiled at the memory.
This brought to mind other things that he could do with it. Bryn fantasized as she went up to her bathroom and started a shower. The images floated around in her mind, his tongue licking her clit, his teeth gently biting her nipples, nibbling on her neck, kissing her again… she groaned. He could be up here with her, getting in the shower with her, pressing his body into hers, kissing his way down her body until he licked her center, getting her ready for him.
Padfoot watched her in the shower, watched the way she licked her lips, touched herself, moaned. He nearly exploded when she slipped a finger into herself. She didn’t even notice when he came closer for a better view.
Her fingers worked her pussy frantically, pumping in and out with one hand while she massaged her clit with the other. It wasn’t long before she was crying out her ecstasy and he could have sworn he heard her say his name.
He trotted out to the bed and lay down, no need to let her know her dog watched her get off. Soon enough she joined him in bed, not even bothering to put on panties or a night shirt, and hugged him to her as she fell asleep.
Oh yes, this would be a very long night.
Author’s note: Sorry it took me so long! I had a million things to do and a bit of writer’s block. I’ll update soon, I promise! Review, that gives me a ton of inspiration to keep writing, not to mention the ego boost I get. hehe
