Bonds by the Book
Chapter 5
Harry realized that he was still in Lucius’ arms and quickly moved back. Climbing off the bed he said the first thing that came to mind, “Is it time for dinner already? I’ll just take a quick shower and change, alright?” And with that, he made his escape into the bathroom, making sure to put strong locking charms on the door.
“What was that just now?” asked Draco, looking at his father accusingly.
“Nothing, Draco. He had a nightmare and I was comforting him,” said Lucius calmly.
“That is not what I walked in on. You were kissing him,” said Draco peevishly.
“I only stopped to check on him because I heard him having a nightmare. You, on the other hand, had some other purpose for coming in here, I’m sure,” said Lucius smugly, walking towards to the door. “Are you coming?”
Draco looked at his father, looked at the bathroom door, and looked back at his father. Sighing deeply, he just nodded and walked out of the room. ‘I should have gotten here sooner. Oh well, at least I got to kiss him first,’ he thought smugly.
*****
Harry quickly showered, took down the locking charms, and cautiously peaked his head around the door. Seeing no Malfoys in sight, he hurriedly went to his trunk to pick out some clothes to wear to dinner. He pulled on a pair of black trousers and a white button-up shirt. Of course, he only had two sets of clothes that actually fit right, so he didn’t have a lot to choose from.
He had just finished tying his shoes when Twinkle popped into the room. “Is Master Harry ready, sir?” she asked.
“Harry, and yes I am,” he said, moving to follow the diminutive house elf.
She led him to the dining hall, taking the same path they had used to get to Harry’s room, but taking a left when they reached the foyer. He walked into the dining hall and immediately stopped in the doorway. In the center of the room stood a long table that could easily seat twenty people or more. Lucius sat at one end while Draco sat in the center on the left.
“Come in, Harry. Have a seat,” said Lucius, gesturing towards the table.
Twinkle escorted Harry to the center seat to Lucius’ right and pulled out the chair. Harry stood for a moment in indecision, then stepped away from the chair. He briskly walked over to the chair directly to the right of Lucius, almost yanked it out of place, and quickly sat down. Crossing his arms, he silently dared Lucius to say anything about his decision.
Lucius just raised an eyebrow, glanced at Draco, and turned to Twinkle. “We’re ready for dinner now,” he said, dismissing the elf.
“If you wanted to sit beside me that badly, all you had to do was ask,” said Lucius, smiling smugly.
“It’s not really a desire to sit beside you, per se. I just hate eating alone,” said Harry, pouting petulantly.
“Well, if that’s the case, I suppose we must ask Draco to join us up here,” said Lucius, smirking in Draco’s direction.
“Whatever. Why do you sit so far away from each other anyway?” he asked.
“We’ve always sat like this,” said Lucius simply.
“You need a smaller table if that’s the only reason, and just use this one for special occasions,” said Harry reasonably. “Draco? Why are you still sitting down there? Come up here.”
Draco slowly walked to the end of the table and sat down in the chair to Lucius’ immediate left. “I didn’t know you feared eating alone,” said Draco.
“I don’t have a fear of eating alone; I just don’t like to. It probably has something to do with my childhood, or at least that’s what Hermione would say,” said Harry.
“What does your childhood have to do with anything? I thought those muggles simply adored you?” said Draco curiously.
“You have spending far too much time with Snape, haven’t you? No, those muggles did not adore me. Did you know my first Hogwart’s letter was addressed to the cupboard under the stairs because that was my room at the time? They only gave me Dudley’s second bedroom because they were afraid the house was being watched,” said Harry quietly.
Twinkle popped into the room at that moment and dinner was served. Harry pushed the food around his plate, not feeling very hungry. Lucius and Draco were both staring at Harry’s listless movements with concern.
“Are you not hungry, Harry?” asked Lucius. “You didn’t eat much at lunch, either.”
“I never have a big appetite,” he said, taking small bites more to appease them than through any real hunger.
“Well no wonder you’re so skinny. You should really eat more,” said Draco.
Harry just ignored that last statement and continued to push the food around his plate. He took a few more tiny bites and pushed his plate away. “I’m full now. May I be excused?”
“Actually, Harry, we would like to talk to you in the library,” said Lucius. “This way, if you will.” Lucius stood and gestured for Harry to precede him and follow Draco to the library.
The Malfoy library was absolutely awe-inspiring. It easily rivaled that of the Hogwart’s library. He wandered over to the nearest bookshelf and gazed at random titles lining the wall. He was so engrossed in his exploration that he totally forgot the other two in the room. He finally remembered their presence when Draco grabbed his arm and turned him around.
Harry blushed and muttered, “Sorry.”
“Harry, we want you to feel comfortable here. After all, we are all destined for a life together,” said Lucius, trying to put the brunette at ease.
“How about I give you a tour tomorrow? I’ll show you all of my favourite places,” said Draco.
“I would like to see more of the Manor. This place is amazing. It’s no wonder you were such a prat at school, Draco,” said Harry, snickering at the indignant look on Draco’s face.
“Hey I resemble, I mean resent, that remark,” he said huffily, grinning when Harry giggled at the intentional slip.
“I asked you in here, really, to see if you had already completed your Christmas shopping. If not, I can arrange for us to take a trip to Diagon Alley sometime this week,” said Lucius.
“I haven’t bought single present, yet. I was in a coma for week, and then I had to catch up on all of work the next week from when I was in a coma, and now I’m here. A day in Diagon Alley would be greatly appreciated,” said Harry enthusiastically.
“Now that that’s settled, it’s rather late so we’ll walk you to your room,” said Lucius.
“Are your rooms on the same floor as mine?” asked Harry curiously.
“Yes. You have been given a room in the Malfoy family wing. We have another wing for guests,” said Draco, coming to stand beside Harry.
“Why did you put me there? I would have thought you would have given me a room in the guest wing,” said Harry, slightly baffled at this information. This whole situation was confusing for him. He had thought the Malfoys hated him, but Draco dispelled that notion with his kiss and parting remark. Then Lucius comforts and kisses him after a nightmare, and now he finds out that he is being housed in the family wing.
“Harry, we have a soul bond. You are family,” said Draco. “Did you really expect anything else?”
“I didn’t expect either of you to accept this situation as well as you have. I always thought you hated me,” said Harry pointedly. “Don’t give me that look, Draco. One kiss and a ‘we don’t hate you’ doesn’t just change the past and all you and your father have put me through. I’m trying to work past it but it will still take some time.”
When he didn’t receive an immediate response, he crossed his arms and pouted in aggravation. Lucius and Draco just looked at each other and pounced. Lucius framed his hands around Harry’s startled face and pressed his lips to Harry’s. At the surprised gasp parting those luscious lips, he quickly thrust his tongue into the warm depths.
Draco, on the other hand, had come up behind Harry pressing snugly against the lithe body in front of him. He then kissed, licked, and sucked a pattern across the slender throat before traveling up to a delicate ear, where he licked the shell of his ear and nibbled the earlobe.
Moaning into Lucius’ lips and wrapping his arms around his neck, Harry didn’t know whether to press back against Draco, or into Lucius. Quickly unbuttoning the shirt, Lucius took the decision out of his hands by finding an erect nipple and pinching lightly. Harry involuntarily thrust forward into the curve of Lucius’ hips and grinding against the impressive bulge located there.
Draco, not to be outdone, trailed a hand down to the waistband of Harry’s trousers, unzipped them, and pushed inside to stroke the rigid cock. Harry moaned an “Oh gods” and pressed his arse against Draco’s throbbing groin. With every stroke of his cock, Harry alternated between grinding back against Draco and forward into Lucius.
Lucius finally broke the kiss and licked and nibbled a trail down to the pretty nipple he had been teasing. Sucking on the nub lightly, he suddenly thrust against Harry hard while biting down around the nipple. Harry shattered with a scream, followed shortly by both Lucius and Draco.
Pulling his come-covered hand from Harry’s pants, he brought the hand to his mouth and licked the delicious substance with clear enjoyment. Lucius grabbed his hand, brought it to his own mouth, and sucked in a covered finger for a taste. Harry just leaned against Lucius weakly, half asleep.
“Let’s get him to bed. I need a shower,” said Lucius, picking up Harry and apparating them to his room. Carefully laying the brunette on the bed, he quickly stripped off his clothes, cast a cleaning charm to prevent stickiness, kissed his forehead, and left the room.
Stepping into the corridor, he called for Twinkle. She appeared with a pop and Lucius said, “We are going to Diagon Alley tomorrow. Make sure both Harry and Draco are awake by 8:00 tomorrow morning.”
“Yes, sir, Master Malfoy. Will there be anything else?” she asked respectfully.
“Yes. Put a monitoring spell on Harry’s room. I want to be able to hear if he has anymore nightmares,” said Lucius, thinking about the nightmare from earlier that evening.
“Yes, sir,” said Twinkle, putting the monitoring spell on Harry’s room and connecting it with Lucius’ room. With that done, she popped back out of the corridor.
Lucius just knocked on Draco’s door and informed him they would be going to Diagon Alley tomorrow. Once Draco had shut his door back, Lucius headed to his own room, took a quick shower, and climbed in the bed. ‘Hopefully Harry won’t freak out tomorrow. He really shouldn’t pout like that; it’s too adorable,’ he thought to himself.
