Chapter five
CHAPTER FIVE
Ron and Harry walked in comfortable silence down the road. Ron, becoming worried when he’d seen that Draco wasn’t at the party, had decided to go look for him. He knew Draco didn’t usually get drunk and he wanted to make sure he got home alright. Someone had told him that they’d seen him going this way, so he and Harry had set off in search of him.
It was nice to be able to walk in silence with Harry. Not because there was something that he couldn’t say, and not to avoid lying, but just because he was content. It felt odd and wonderful to not have a burning need inside of him to tell Harry something. Not to have to fill the silence with something, anything, to distract him.
Ron turned to Harry, about to tell him for the fifth time how great it was that Harry finally knew he was gay, when a groan drew his attention to the alleyway they had just past.
They approached the alley cautiously, wands drawn. When a lumos spell by Harry revealed a bloody and bruised Blaise not Draco, Ron sighed in relief. He’d been afriad it had been Draco lying there moaning in pain, but he was probably already back at his flat, which wasn’t far. They both knelt down, Ron quickly accessing the extant of the injuries and doing a few minor healing charms.
“What happened?” Ron asked as he skimmed his wand down Blaise’s legs making sure there weren’t any broken bones.
“I..I didn’t mean to. They threatened me. They said that they’d kill me, and I was so angry at him.” He broke off sobbing.
Ron who hadn’t seen Blaise since Hogwarts, and who didn’t remember seeing him at Draco’s flat, didn’t recognize him, but it was his duty to help people. He sighed and helped Blaise to his feet, resigning himself to the fact that he wasn’t going to be able to continue his search for Draco. “It’s all right,” he said absently patting his back. He was sure Draco had made it home. He was foolish for worrying.
“It’s not. IT”S NOT ALRIGHT,” he yelled suddenly pushing away from Ron.
Harry reached out a hand and laid it on his shoulder. “Calm down, mate. There’s no reason to yell. You’re safe now.”
“It’s not alright,” he said quietly. “I may be safe but Draco’s not.”
Ron, who had been listening with half an ear and calculating how far away Draco’s flat was and the odds that he would be attacked in such a short trip, whipped his head around so fast that he was surprised his neck didn’t snap. “What? Did you just say Draco? As in Draco Malfoy?”
Blaise shook his head yes, and found himself slammed against the wall, Ron’s furious eyes inches from his.
“What the hell did you do to him?”
“I..they threatened me.”
“Who?”
“Lucius..and some of his friends.”
“Death Eaters you mean?” He gripped Blaise’s shirt tighter and asked through gritted teeth. “You gave an auror over to Death eaters? You gave Draco Malfoy over to his father, who has been trying to kill him for years? You sent Draco to his death,” he spit out throwing him to the ground.
“Ron calm down,” Harry said, unnerved by the fury in his friend’s eyes. But Ron didn’t even hear him. All he could think of was that Draco was being hurt and would very probable be dead soon. And the person responsible was right in front of him.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean..” Blaise started, but Ron cut him off.
“Do not speak. If you say even one more word, I swear, I’ll kill you.” He took a few calming breaths and made a conscious effort to turn away from Blaise. Even looking at him was making Ron crazy with rage. He couldn’t trust himself.
“Harry I need you to take him to the Ministry. Tell them I said to charge him with entrapment and conspiracy to murder an auror. I have to go.”
“Ron, where are you..” Harry started to say, but Ron had already apparated.
Ron crept quietly through the trees, checking the area around the cabin for other people. He was sure that there would be someone guarding the perimeter. He’d been able to find Draco easily enough. They’d both agreed that it would be prudent to have some way to be able to find each other, considering how dangerous their missions were. Draco had wanted to enchant an object, but Ron knew that a simple spell would reveal that if one of them were captured. Ron had suggested they use something that he’d gotten from his father’s garage. A tracking device. A small black disc, sown into the collar of their robes and they could always find each other.. They had hidden the machine that tracked it in their office, neither really ever expecting to have to use it.
But Ron was happy they had, he was within fifteen feet of Draco, and hopefully he wasn’t too late.
Finally spotting the dark robed person walking a few yards off to his left, he crept up behind him. He whispered ‘Stupefy’ and caught what turned out to be a man, as he started to fall, laying him quietly on the forest floor.
After a few more minutes of searching to assure himself that there wasn’t anyone else lurking around, he flew his broom up to the roof and entered the cabin through the second story window.
He searched the room to make sure no one was in it and had his hand on the door when he heard a moan. His eyes flew to what looked like a small closet and he made his way quickly over to it.
When he opened the door a crack he almost fell over in shock at the sight that met his eyes. It wasn’t a closet, but a small room. It was empty except for a table, onto which Draco was strapped, naked with a woman on top of him licking his neck as she rode him. And he was crying. And shaking. Whispering quietly no,no,no, and twisting his ankles and wrists until they bleed.
Ron had his wand out and had stupified her within seconds. The force of his spell causing her to fall off the table and onto the floor. He rushed over to Draco’s side and started to unstrap him. His hands fumbling more from the shock than the slippery blood dripping from Draco’s wrists.
“Ron? Is that you?” It couldn’t be, he thought closing his eyes. Everything was wrong. It was all a dream, a horrible dream. The hazy edge everything had assured him of that. It wasn’t really happening. He would wake up soon and it would all be just a nightmare.
“Yes. I’m going to get you out of here,” he said with finality. As if there were no doubt that anything else could happen.
Draco had stopped crying, but he was still shaking, his eyes muddled, and darting around the room. They came back to Ron, and widened. “Ron?”
“Yes. Yes it’s me. What did they do to you? I think you’ve been drugged.”
His eyes widened as he remembered.“Yes they drugged me, so they could....” He stopped breathing quickly and shallowly. He didn’t want to say it. Saying it made it real. Remembering that he’d been drugged had destroyed any illusion that this was all a dream. “ He knows that I don’t like..he thought it would be funny. They cast ‘erectus’ and then.. She was the third.”
All of the saliva in Ron’s mouth dried up and he could only stare at him. His brain refusing to process the information.
“Could you,”Draco asked quietly, nodding towards his still erect penis.
“I..yes. Finite incantatem,” he whispered and Draco’s penis shriveled down, wet with juices from the women that had raped him.
“Thank you,” Draco whispered, before letting out the sobs he’d been holding in.
Ron finished unstrapping him. Taking him in his arms and lightly stroking his back. “It’s okay Draco. I’m here.”
“I..I didn’t want them to..I didn’t want them..it was a spell,” he choked out through the sobs.
“I know you didn’t. They’ll never touch you again I swear it. They’ll have to kill me first.”
Draco stopped sobbing at that, looking at Ron with terrified eyes. “You have to get out of here. He’ll be in here any minute. He..thinks it’s fun to watch.”
Ron felt a surge of rage shoot through him. And an almost suffocating desire to kill Lucius Malfoy. But he had to make sure Draco was safe. He had to get him out of there.
“Come on. We have to leave. Can you walk?”
Draco nodded, and Ron went to the corner and picked up his robes. He helped Draco put them on as he was still shaking badly and couldn’t manage himself.
They were halfway to the door when Lucius Malfoy walked in. “Are you enjoying yourself,” he started to ask, but stopped as he took in the scene in front of him.
There was a short moment, which seemed impossibly long, where no one moved.
Then Ron reached for his wand as did Lucius, but he wasn’t fast enough. It all happened so quickly, Ron couldn’t really process it.
“Avada Kedevra.”
A flash of green light. Pale blond hair spread against the stone floor. Blank dead eyes staring up at him, as Ron stood frozen in shock..
