"If I ask you something, would you keep it secret?" he asked.

"Yes, Draco." She looked up into those baby blues.

"Promise you're not gonna go running to Potter." He bit his lip for a moment, and the vulnerability it showed made Ginny's heart flutt

"I promise. You have my word on that."

"If you loved someone you knew your parents would probably disown you for, what would you do?"

"Well, it depends on who it was to a degree, I guess. I would follow my heart though for the most part."

"I'm not telling you who it is, red." He looked slightly nervous.

"Can I ask why you don't want Harry knowing about this, I'm not going to tell him, but it doesn't seem like that kind of thing?" She looked terrified at having said this.

"I don't want anyone knowing, but he would love something to get at me with."

"He is really not like that, Draco."

"Sorry, I forgot about the big love of you two!" he sneered.

"We are not together, and we never were and we are not going to be either, so that comment is null and void." Ginny flushed a little at this, the nerve of him!

"Sorry. It's just—" he trailed off.

"I know a little more of what you speak than you'd imagine." Draco looked up at her, in disbelief.

"Shut up. You're hot for Potter, everyone knows it."

"Oh, do they? Well, "they" are wrong. I love Harry, yes as a friend. He's always there for me. I got over the schoolgirl crush a couple of years ago."

"Who then..?"

"You won't tell me, so I won't tell you, childish, maybe but fair in my eyes." She stood to leave, but Draco's hand shot out and gripped her wrist, albeit gently.
