Reunited 2
An explanation
The entire life story was explained to Jason back at the mansion. He discovered why his father was put in Azkaban and how he cold change into Padfoot. He found out that Remus would be leaving in two weeks to go to live in a shack because he was a werewolf. Everything that he needed to know, he learned it and more.
"Harry," Jason, Harry, and Hermoine sat on the living room floor that night in front of the fire. "Was it hard for you to get used to this place when you left the muggle world?"
"It wasn’t as bad as figuring out what I was and what I had to do every year," Harry replied as he shoved a handful of popcorn into his mouth.
"Do you still have to?"
"Nope. The dark lord is finally gone forever. Now all I have to worry about is the Death Eaters that are left."
"So, Jason," Hermoine began after she finished chewing her popcorn. "What was your life back in the muggle world?"
"It was really rather boring. I lived with my mom and one of her boyfriends every once in a while. I didn’t have a lot of friends because I was home schooled, so all I really had was my mom."
"You didn’t have any girlfriends or anything? I can‘t see why a woman wouldn’t go for you."
"Wait a minute, Hermoine," Harry interrupted. "What did you mean by that?"
"What?" her voice even sounded like she was hiding something. "He’s an attractive young man. I thought that he would be one to get any girl that he wanted."
"I think that you like him."
"What?! Harry, I’ve known him for not even an entire day."
Harry gave her the look of I-know-you-like-him-you-just-won’t-admit-it. Jason seemed to have the same expression on his face.
Hermoine slumped back against the couch, feeling a little embarrassed. She really did like Jason, but she was nowhere near admitting her crush.
"It’s okay, ‘Moine," Harry patted her thigh. "I still love you."
"And you don’t have to feel embarrassed, Hermoine," Jason broke in. "You’re quite gorgeous yourself."
This really wasn’t helping the fact that Hermoine was blushing. Her face only grew more red. "Thank you, I guess."
