A couple of days passed. Draco couldn’t live with himself. He would see her in the halls and want to cry out his love but before he could the rest of the gang would surround him. He decided he no longer cared wanyoanyone else thought. He was going to profess his love in a letter. He found an empty classroom right after the last class and began writing.

He found himself singing as he wrote. When he was finished he read and reread the letter. When he was finally satisfied he signed, sealed, and watched the owl set out for her.
She was in the library with Hermione. She had been hanging out the girls more and more since there first meeting. She was beginning to think everything would be okay. The owl dropped the letter in her lap. She jumped. She picked it up and a smile came across her face as she read. She arrived early for dinner she wanted to return her love to Draco before another moment passed. She found out soon it wasn’t going to happen. She entered the room and the only ones that were there were Pansy and the other girls.
“I don’t know what he sees in her.”
“Well she is very nice and I like her.” Ginny said.
“Nice. Ha. She is too nice. It is sick!”

There was nothing for Pansy to say. She had been caught.

She had pulled her wand and was ready to jinx anyone who advanced. Suddenly a pair of arms wrapped around her.
“Don’t. She is not worth it,” Draco whispered as he pulled her back.
She punched him and fled the room. She slammed her door and grabbed her trunk. She wasn’t going to let them see her cry again. She was leaving. She was making sure she had everything when the door opened.
“Is there anything I can do to help I feel awful about what just happened.” Ginny was crying.
“No I’m leaving. I thought everything would be different here. I would have friends and fun. But I was wrong. I will always be Sandra Dee.”
“No. You can’t leave. You have to show them you are bigger than they are. Let me make you over for the dance tonight. Lets show Draco what he is missing.”
“Ok.”
A couple of hours Ginny had already left with the others to go to the party. Sandy’s eyes were closed tight as she turned to look upon herself for the first time. She opened her eyes and was surprised to see she liked what she saw.
