style='font-size:20.0pt;line-height:150%;font-family:Charlemagne'>Part 5: A
List of Names

style='font-size:20.0pt;line-height:150%;font-family:Charlemagne'>

Draco groaned and tried to roll onto his side, to meet the
resistance only another body could cause.
His eyes snapped awake, the pain in his head momentarily forgotten as he
tried to remember what had happened the previous night and how he came to be
lying on one of the couches in the chamber of secrets with another persons arm
thrown over him. A slight shift of his
hips proved the gender if not the identity of the boy behind him.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
All the thinking was making his head hurt, so
he closed his eyes and sank back into blackness, resolving to solve the mystery
when he woke next.

He didn’t know how much later it was when he woke next, but
his bed mate was still there. So,
unfortunately was a very amused looking Harry Potter.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
Grinning, the other boy got up and took the
two steps over to kneel on front of him.
Then he handed him what, at that moment in time, Draco would gladly have
traded his soul for; Hangover Potion. He
gulped down the contents of the bottle and closed his eyes with a sigh of
relief as his headache began to recede.
Slowly so as not to disturb the boy behind him, he rolled over and
looked at Blaise Zabini.

Still feeling slightly ill, the blonde boy gently moved out
from under Blaise’s arm and stood up.
His arse hurt and he couldn’t remember a thing after… ah the fire
whiskey. Harry motioned the naked boy to
follow him over to the potions corner, still grinning.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
“What happened?” he asked as soon as they
were far enough away to avoid waking the sleeping boy.

Draco shrugged. “I
tried explaining to him why you were upset about Granger.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
I didn’t have much luck, but at some point
Blaise broke out a bottle of fire whiskey.
I don’t remember much after the… forth glass and nothing after the
fifth.”

Harry grinned. Draco
took another look at him and frowned.
His nausea was almost gone and he got his first good look at the
Boy-Who-Refused-To-Die. A smirk turned
up the corners of his mouth, “But if the pain in my behind is anything to go by
along with you’re smile, I’d say a good night was had by all?” he turned it
into a question at the last moment.
Harry’s eyes snapped to his from the sleeping Slytherin.

“Yes, a very good night was had by all.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Neville Longbottom is in.”

“Is in or was in?”

“Both.” Harry laughed.

It was almost another hour before Blaise stirred and he woke
to find Harry and Draco sitting at the table apparently working on a single
sheet of paper. He strained to hear what
they were saying.

“I still think she’s a bad idea, but you know her better then
I do.”

“Yes, I do, plus her aunt works in the ministry, she’s the
head of magical law Enforcement. Susan
could be an asset.”

Draco grunted in reply.

“Look, if you really think she’s a bad idea, fine.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Cross her off the list.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> There was a scratch of a quill, “How many
does that leave us?”

line-height:150%'>“Twenty. If Granger is
in. Twenty one if we ask Weasley.”

It was Harry’s turn to grunt.
Blaise continued to lie quietly, straining to hear.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
“I don’t think asking is ais a good idea
right now…”

“His sister is already on the list, Harry.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> How long do you think you can keep this a
secret?”

“Longer then you’d believe.
He still doesn’t know we slept together.”

“Really?” Draco
sounded intrigued.

“He also doesn’t know that you were her first.”

The silence was deafening.
“How do…”

“I asked. I knew she
wasn’t a virgin at the time. It was
kinda obvious.”

“Kinky.”

“Cautious. I wanted to
know who to shove the blame onto if any of her brothers found out.”

Another silence, then Draco laughed.

They began to talk quietly again and Blaise found he could no
longer hear what they wereing.ing.
Still, he’d found out a few pieces of useful information.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
If he happened to let it slip to someone who
would run to Weasley, the knowledge that both Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter had
touched his little sister would be enough to permanently destroy the Golden
Trio. If both Weasley’s were on the
team, it could also put ae ste strain on them.
He began to fake waking up and moaned loudly.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Draco had drank most of the bottf fif fire
whiskey, but the Slytherin Ice Prince didn’t know that and Blaise intended to
keep it that way. s'> Draco had never been
one to count how much he drank. It would
be easy to make him appear an alcoholic, but first people had to get used to
seeing him drink with Blaise. Blaise
stumbled out of the makeshift bed and rubbed his behind.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He’d forgotten just how big Draco was.

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>*********************************************

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>

“How much did you drink?”

“About three quarters of the bottle, I think.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He was trying to get me drunk.”

“Why? To get you into
bed or for another reason?”

Draco leaned back, “I don’t know, but I know he didn’t need
that hangover cure this morning. I think
he heard most of our conversation as well.”

Harry grunted and rubbed his forehead, “Nothing incriminating
was said, well except for Ginny… Shit.”

“Just how out of control will Weasley get if he finds out?”

“If he does, I think I’ll come hid in you’re dorm.s='ms='mso-spacerun:yes'> It would be safer.”

“Zabini won’t tell, not yet anyway.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Draco sounded very sure.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Harry raised an eyebrow and looked at
him. “Right now, he has nothing to gain
from it.” Draco explained, “Leave it for
now.”

Harry fiddled with the quill he was holding for a minute
before saying, “I thinks a s a bad idea.”

“What?” Draco sounded
confused.

“Sleeping with members of the team.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I don’t think we should.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He trailed off, looked at a stunned Draco.

“You do realise,” the blonde said, “that most of the cute
people in school are our friends? Most
of them will be on the team and you want to ban
us from sleeping with them?” His voice
had got steadily louder as his finished the sentence, waking the snake curled
around Harry’s arm. It hissed angrily at
him. Draco closed his mouth will an
audible snap.

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>“Calm down.”style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'> Harry said in parseltongue.

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>“Why is he yelling?”style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>“He is upset about something I
said. Go back to sleep, little one.”
style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>
With one final hiss at the Slytherin, the snake dropped its head back
down and went back to sleep.

“Draco, can you see where I’m coming from with this?style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It will only cause problems later on if we
fuck certain members of the team on a regular basis.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> They’ll start to see favouritism even if it
isn’t there.”

“I can see where you’re coming from.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I just don’t like

“But you do agree?”

“Yeah, I agree.” Draco sighed, sliding further down in his
chair, “No fucking the recruits.”
Neither mentioned fucking each other, after all they still had to put on
weekly shows for Myrtle.

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>*********************************************

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>

It was already early afternoon when Harry and Draco finally
left the Chamber of Secrets. Dobby had,
as usual brought their food to them there.
They now had a workable initiation system and a list of names of
candidates to start from. They had
decided on twenty people, with them being broken down into two groups of
ten. One group under each.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
Now it was just a matter of approaching the
people in question. They both teleported
to an unused room in the dungeon and split up, Draco heading towards the owlry
to send the messages, while Harry headed up to Gryffindor tower to see Hermione
and finish his homework for Monday. Hermione
however was nowhere to be found.
According to Lavender, she had come in the previous night, went to bed
and no one had seen her since. Harry
shrugged and started on hiseworework.

After a while, Neville came over and after a quick look at
the snake, put his books down and began to work beside him.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
They
stayed like that, working silently until they were both finished, then Harry
turned to the other boy, “Do you want something, Neville?”

“Yes. I want an
answer.”

Harry swore silently to himself.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He should have known that sleeping with
Neville would cause problems. The boy
had seemed excepting last night, but after a good night’s sleep too many people
were inclined to read into an encounter what just wasn’t there.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Look Neville…”

“Let me finish,” the brown haired boy interrupted and
proceeded to surprise Harry for the second time in forty-eight hours, “This
team, that’s what’s had you so preoccupied all year isn’t it?”

Harry hesitated for a second and then nodded.

“Why haven’t you approached Ron?”

Harry leaned back and closed his eyes, “Ron is…” he sighed
and tried again, “Can you see Ron willing working with Draco?style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
Trusting him, taking orders from him?”

“No. I see you
point. What are you goingtelltell him?”

“I don’t know, Neville, I just don’t know.

style='font-size:14.lineline-height:150%'>

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>*********************************************

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>

Monday morning dawned and everyone trooped down to breakfast,
trying to wake up after the lazy weekend.
Harry was just digging into his sausages when the post arrived.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
The owls flew around, looking for the
recipients of their parcels and both Harry and Draco watched with narrowed eyes
as eighteen owls found different students.
Confused, the students opened the letters and read them silently.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> When they were finished, the letters burst
into flame. At the staff table,
Dumbledore looked down, worry playing on his features.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He knew Harry was up to something, he just
wasn’t sure what.

Harry caught Ginny’s eye as the young girl looked up from the
ashes at him. He smiled and nodded.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
He knew what the note had read;

style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>Dear Ginny,

style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>We think you have the courage, ability and strength to take the fight to
Voldemort. If you do too, join us.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
This letter will burn itself once you have
finished reading, so make sure you read carefully.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> We are setting up an elite team to fight
Voldemort. If you want in, be waiting
outside your common room at style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>2amstyle='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'> tomorrow morning and someone will
come for you. If you don’t think you are
capable, then don’t show. This parchment
is charmed so that you will not be able to talk about what you have just
read. This is a decision you must make
on your own.

style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>Regards

style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy

style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>

The only difference in the notes was the time and day and of
course the name. Over the next week, all
the people who had received the notes would have the chance to personally talk
to Draco and Harry about it. They would
try to answer the questions, but only in the Chamber of Secrets.

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>*********************************************

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>

Hermione leaned against the wall outside the common room,
trying hard to appear at ease. She had
been surprised when she had received the owl, having already been told about
the team, but it didn’t change the fact that here she was, Wednesday night,
waiting to be taken to wherever it was to meet with Malfoy and Harry.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
From the stunned look on Ginny’s face the day
before, the bushy haired girl was willing to bet that she had got one too.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Her other guesses had been Ron, Neville,
Seamus and Dean. The later two had
received the burning letters, but not the former.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It had her confused.

It was almost exactly ten o clock when Neville left the
common room. He smiled at her and said,
“Well, come on then. We have to meet
someone else on the way.”

“Who?”

“You’ll see.”

Hermione desperately wanted to ask questions, but whatever charm
had been on the paper was working and she found the words wouldn’t leave her
mouth. She followed Neville down two
flights of stairs and around a few corners to come to another portrait.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
Leaning nonchalantly against it was a boy she
didn’t recognise as anyone other then a Ravenclaw.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Hermione Granger, meet Kevin Sinclair.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Kevin, this is Hermione.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I’m Neville.
Now come on, neither Draco nor Harry like being kept waiting.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'>

Sinclair was bursting with questions as well, Hermione
realised. At least it wasn’t just her.

Hermione realised where they were going a few minutes before
they got there. “Moaning Myrtle’s
bathroom? That’s where we’re meeting
them?”

Neville snorted and Sinclair looked confused, “Who’s Moaning
Myrtle?”

“She’s a ghost. The only
victim killed by the Basilisk when the Chamber of Secrets was opened fifty
years ago. She haunts on of the girl’s
bathrooms on the third floor. Oh!style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
The Chamber!
Is that were we’re going?”

Neville nodded.

“How are we going to get in?”

“Someone already down there will come up to let us in.”

“Who’s already down there?”
Sinclair asked.

Neville stopped outside the door and considered the question,
“Harry, Draco, Ginny Weasley, Terry Boot, and Michael Fox.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
The Carmichael twins got initiated yesterday as well, but I don’t
think they’re down there now. Blaise
might be though. I don’t think anyone
besides Ginny from Monday is though” He pushed open the door and they went
inside. A few seconds later, a ghostly
girl appeared and asked, “What do you want?”

“Can you tell Harry and Draco we’re here please?”

“Oh, all right.” She
began to sink threw the floor.

A few minutes passed before reappeared and told them to
wait. A few minutes later, the sink at
the end began to sink into the floor.
Harry was standing there. He
smiled when he seen them and said, “I’m glad you came Mione.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
I was beginning to think you wouldn’t.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'>

“Of course I came!”
She threw herself into his arms and hugged him, “I would have come
earlier except for that charm on the paper.”
He grinned as he disentangled himself from her and then handed the three
people brooms. It’s not that far, but
pay attention. This place is a maze and
I don’t want to spend an hour looking for you.
Just follow me.”

To the complete shock of both Hermione and Sinclair, he
turned into a
Phoenixstyle='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'> and flew slowly down the
tunnel. In a daze they followed him with
Neville bringing up the rear. Hermione
was stunned when they reached the main chamber.
It was nothing like the descriptions Harry and Ron had given her in
second year. Harry landed on the
outstretched arm of Draco Malfoy and sent up a low thrill.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Malfoy laughed and watched the three students
land. “Welcome to the Chamber of
Secrets.”

Harry hopped of his arm and turned back with a grin.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “Take a seat.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The two people sat down across from where
Harry and Draco had sat and Neville wandered over to where Blaise was helping
Ginny with some spells. He needed more
practise with the Dark Arts as well.

“You’re probably wondering why you’re here.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> We’ll give you a general run down of what
we’re doing and then try to answer you’re questions.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> At the end, you decide if you’re in or out…”

Draco interrup “If “If you’re in, you start training.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> If you’re out, then we obliviate you.”

“Do you want to do this?” Harry asked exasperatedly.

“No, go right ahead.”

Harry rolled his eyes and continued, “Sixteen years ago when
Voldemort rose to power, no one really fought him.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
The ministry send hit wizards after him and
the Order tried to fight against him, but both had the same problem.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> They were reactive, no proactive.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> They wanted to remain ‘The Light Side’ and
the light side obviously couldn’t attack Voldemort.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It’s the main reason he got so powerful so
fast.” Harry leaned forward, resting his
elbows on his knees. “This time it’s
going the same way. The ministry is
preparing for a ‘defence’ against Voldemort and the Order is just watching.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I and Draco don’t think that’s good
enough. We want to take the fight to
Voldemort. The team we’re forming will
do what the Ministry and others won’t.
We’ll use any means necessary to force Voldemort to come after us.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> We’ll be making ourselves targets for both
him and the ministry. They can hardly
afford a vigilante team headed by the son of a known Death Eater and the
Boy-Who-Lived.” He paused for a few
seconds to allow the implications of that to sink in.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The only sounds were the explosions coming
from the other side of the Chamber as Blaise trained the others.

“We’ll be fighting using muggle weapons, the Dark Arts,
anything we think can piss Voldemort off enough to come after us.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
We’ll be taking the brunt of the war because
both sides will be coming after us.”
Seeing the look on Sinclair’s face, Harry quickly continued, “Don’t get
me wrong, we’re not advocating mass murder here.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> We’ll be targeting only death eaters and
supporters. The plan is to make him
target us, style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>not innocent civilians.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It will be hard and it will be dirty.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> You have to come in to this knowing you will
have to kill and knowing that you may be killed too.”

“Right,” Draco said after a few moments, “Any questions?”

“How many people will be on this team?” Sinclair asked.

Harry remained silent, letting Draco answer, “Twenty-two,
including us. Or at least that’s the
figure we want.”

“We’ll have to learn the Dark Arts?”

“Yeah, they’re not that bad really.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Most of them are difficult to learn at first
but after a while they become a lot easier.”

“How much danger will we be in?”

“The plan is for only my and Harry’s names to be associated
with the team. That means that you’ll
only be in extra danger while on a mission or if we develop a spy problem.”

“Harry is… well he’s the Boy-Who-Lived, but you… how do we
know we can trust you, Malfoy?”

Draco leaned back, considering his answer, when Harry spoke,
“Is my word not good enough for you?”

Sinclair looked surprised for a moment and then shook his
head, “It’s not that I don’t trust you, Harry, but…”

“I trust him. I’ve
been trusting him since school started.
He was the one who thought me the Dark Arts.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
If he wanted me killed, I would be dead
already. He’s had a hundred chances to
kill me.” Harry looked grim, “You have
to get over this ‘Slytherin are evil’ bint, Sinclair.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> I trust Draco and if my word isn’t good
enough for you, then his isn’t going to be either. style='mso-spacerun:yes'> You’ll be taking orders from one or other of
us for as long as you are on this team.
If you aren’t willing to place your faith in Draco simply because he’s
Draco Malfoy then I think you should leave now.”

Silence, even the explosions had stopped.

“How did you convince Myrtle to help?” Hermione asked in a
small voice. It was her first question.

Draco sniggered, “You’re not going to believe this…”

Harry was laughing too.

“We agreed to have a make-out session once a week for her
amusement. According to Blaise she gets
quite flushed.”

“You two are…?” Sinclair asked.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>

Harry shook his head, “No, we’re not.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It’s just the payment for Myrtle.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It would be too dangerous for us to have any
kind of relationship with anyone once this gets out.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> In fact we’ve decided against having a
relationship of any kind with any member of the team for just this reason.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The less chinks in our armour Voldemort can
find the betted a d a loved one is a pretty big chink.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The others had to agree.

They talked for about another hour with Draco and Harry
explaining how the team would function and admitting they still hadn’t come up
with a name for it yet. Hermione had
already said she was in, so moved over to watch Blaise training the others after
a few more questions. Kevin Sinclair was
still not sure.

“You don’t have to answer now, Sinclair.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> You can think about it if you want.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The no-talking charm will hold until we
remove it or obliviate your memory of
it.” Sinclair nodded and said he’d do
that and Draco told him to be waiting outside his common room at ten o clock on
Friday. That would be the day of the
first full meeting withryonryone from the list who had agreed.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The ones ‘thinking’ would miss the meeting,
and be initiated afterwards. Sinclair
left along with Blaise and Draco took over the tutoring.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>

Blaise returned half an hour later with the next two possible
recruits. Harry and Draco looked at each
other and sighed. This was turning into
a long night and they still had two more pairs to get through.

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>

e='fe='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>*********************************************

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>

Friday dawned, bright and clear.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Not that Harry or Draco noticed as they had
fallen asleep, along with Ginny, Dean, Seamus and the Carmichael Twins in the
Chamber of Secrets, or the HQ as everyone had started calling it.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Harry was the first awake.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He was standing on front of the table looking
at the list of names they had written that Sunday night, so long ago.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> It felt like a lot more then a week.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Draco joined him.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Only two of the people had outright refused
to join. “Well, it went better then
expected.”

“Yeah,” Draco replied.

“Tonight, we finish it.
What time did we tell everyone to be here?”

“Six. We’ll be missing
dinner, but it can’t be helped. Dobby
will bring us something here.”

“Let’s wake this lot up then.” Harry said, nodding towards
his sleeping team mates. Draco laughed
and nodded.

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>*********************************************

style='font-size:14.0pt;line-height:150%'>

At exactly twenty to six, Dean, Seamus, Ginny and Neville met
in the common room and disappeared out the door.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
Hermione had been given the task of
distracting Ron, who had been getting more suspicious all week.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He knew something was up and he knew it
involved his friends, but he couldn’t work out what it was.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The four Gryffindors set off for the HQ,
getting there at the same time as Terry Boot and Luna.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Draco let them in and directed them to go to
the main chamber.

Hermione was the last to arrive, smiling when she seen
Draco. They had been getting along
brilliantly now that she knew Draco’s attitude was an act and she was even
willing to play along, giving him excuses to call her names.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
She had liked him even more when she
discovered that he had earned his place of second best student, admitting that
she had assumed Snape had doctored his marks.
Draco told her that he would have, if he had of needed it.

When they were all seated in the HQ, Draco called the meeting
to order. “Settle down.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
For most of what we’ll be doing, we will be
divided into two groups, one headed by myself and the other by Harry.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> These will then be split into two further
groups of four each; the ninth person in each group will be the second in
command and will alternate with the leader in controlling them.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> These seconds will be Hermione with Harry and
Rachael with me. The exact group
divisions are not finished yet and even then there will be some chopping and
changing to accommodate what needs to be done.
Translation, the groups are not set in stone.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> You will get transferred to the other if they
need you.”

Harry took over, “Everyone has been training hard and I know
from experience just how hard it is to learn the Dark Arts quickly.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
I promise it does get easier.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Any of the Slytherins can tell you the same.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> There was some laughter at that, “The main
things we want from you at the moment is to get along with each other and
continue with you’re training. Draco and
Blaise will tutor anyone who feels they need it.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Robert and Rachael as well.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Hermione, I and Dean will be introducing you
to muggle weaponry and fighting styles along with animagus training.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The last thing Voldemort will be expecting is
a gun to the face. If you talk to the
people from other houses, you will find out how inaccurate the stereotypes are.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Not all Slytherins are evil, not all
Gryffindors are brave. Ravenclaw and
Hufflepuff are the same. Talk and
explore the differences. You will be
trusting the other people in this room with you’re lives, so get to know
them.” Harry looked around before
continuing, “The next thing is simple.
Hermione?”

Hermione stood up and moved to stand in the centre of the
room. “For those of who who were in the
DA last year, you will remember the gallons we gave you.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
This year, we’ve gone one better.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She took a box out of her pocket and opened
it to show twenty rings, each with a ruby, a blue or yellow sapphire, or an
emerald at its centre. “You simply pick
the colour of your house and no one will realise what they mean.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Ginny, Rachael and I put our heads together
last night and came up with both the name of the team and its logo.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> When you can see the logo inside the stone,
then you know someone is trying to contact you.
Simply press the stone into the palm of your other hand to hear
them. Only and I stress this, only Harry
and Draco will be able to contact the entire group.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The rest of us can only contact members of
our own teams, along with Harry, Draco, Rachael and I.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> She pointed her wand at the centre of the
room and said clearly, “Arguo-Opacus-Atrum!”
A spinning symbol appeared on front of
them of a linked grey G and F. Inside them
was white, outside was black.

Draco put his left hand on her shoulder, clearly showing the
emerald ring on his middle finger and looked around the people in the room,
“Welcome to Grey Force.”

It had been almost four hours since Hermione had left the
tower, with Ron following her and he was falling asleep as he stood watching
the entrance to the chamber of secrets.
He had been stunned to say the least when Malfoy had opened the portal
and even more stunned that Hermione had obviously been expecting him, not to
mention happy to see him. Much to Ron’s
annoyance, the ferret had closed the entrance before he had a chance to follow
them, but now finally, the door was opening.
Only it wasn’t Hermione who came out.

Blaise Zabini replaced the broom he had used just inside the
door and then stepped out. Harry was
with him. “Okay, only one more lot to go
and that’s it. Make sure you see all of
them. I want this finished by the end of
tonight. With any luck they’ll be waiting
where they’re meant to be. If they’re
not, well… you know the passwords.”
Harry shrugged. Zabini nodded
once and then left the bathroom. Harry
sighed once and rubbed his temples. Then
he turned and went back into the Chamber.
Ron was too stunned to take advantage of the open door and found it shut
again in his face.

Silently fuming, he ran out after Zabini, intent on getting
some answers. What was Harry doing in
the Chamber of Secrets with Hermione and ferret-face?style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
And who was Zabini meant to meet?style='mso-spacerun:yes'> He caught up with the Slytherin in the Charms
corridor and swung the other boy around, whipping the invisibility cloak off at
the same moment. Zabini quickly shoved
something into his pocket and sneered at the red-headed Gryffindor.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> “What do you want We?”

“I want to now what the hell is going on!” Ron almost
yelled. He slammed the slighter boy up
against the wall and hissed, “And you are going to tell me.”

“I’m not going to tell you shit.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> If you want to know what’s going on, ask Harry.”style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Zabini sneered, “Oh, yeah I forgot.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The reason he hasn’t told you is because he
doesn’t think you’ll be able to play nice with Slytherins.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Proving him right now aren’t you,
Weasel? Even you little Mudblood
girlfriend came around. Harry was sure she
would, but not you.” Ron saw red and
slammed him even harder against the wall.

“Don’t call her that and she is not my girlfriend!” he ground
out through clenched teeth. He slammed
the other boy again. Blaise had no idea
why he was taunting Weasley. It was, he
reasoned, just habit and a difficult one to break.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
Now though, he was worried.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Weasley was a lot stronger then he had
thought and a lot angrier then Blaise was prepared for.

Suddenly, the red head whipped him to the side and reached
into the startled boy’s pocket, pulling out a single piece of parchment.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>
Before he could read it, Blaise grabbed it
out of his. Ron slammed into him and
Blaise dropped the parchment. “Just what
is going on here?” another voice suddenly rang out.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> The two boys jumped apart and spun around to
face the heads of both their houses.
McGonagall strode forward when she noticed the parchment.style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Glaring at both boys, McGonagall picked it up
from where it had fallen and silently read it.
Snape reading it from over her shoulder.

“List?” Ron asked, even more confused then be.
