The Eve of Truth - I

The Eve of Truth - I

* * *

The winter wind howled outside as snow beat down across my glass windows. I sat in my work chair and gazed at my numerous poisons - their sickly colours glinting through the glass bottles viciously. I concocted all of them, I am brilliant, amazing and spectacular, I was the Potion\'s Master - with my careful hands. This was no comfort in the cold nights ahead. The one thing I needed was a woman\'s company - a woman\'s flaxen hair hanging softly down white shoulders, and finishing at the tips of her breasts. That was spectacular.

As the eve approached I began to think about Narcissa again. What was she doing? Who was she with? Is she happy? I had to see her again, regardless of her request. She wouldn\'t dare tell Lucius what had happened and so this meant in Lucius\' eyes, I was still quite welcomed at the manor.

Dear Lucius
Have you arranged the evening of chess yet?
I would like to partake in the event this time.
How is your son, does he need his tution again?
Wednesday evening as usual I\'m guessing.

Waiting for reply,
Severus

You seem eager to visit, my silky friend.
Chess? Are you mad - you hate it from what I recall.
There will be no chess I\'m afraid.
Draco won\'t need help with the assignment you set for him.
Wednesday as usual, I have other matters to discuss with y
Oh
Oh and bring a poison of yours - I have a
rather annoying pest from the Ministry coming around.

P.S. Where the hell were you when we smoked cigars on Christmas Eve?

Lucius, your slippery friend.

I read the letter over again; he was inviting me to spend Wednesday evening at his manor. I was sure to see Narcissa - that\'s if she doesn\'t lock herself up in the library, (a usual habit of hers). Pocketing one of my potion\'s I was mentally preparing to see her again - this time she would not refuse me.

I rode my horse to the manor, it was a far ride, but worth it in the end. Snow was falling once again from the sky; it came on and off and rarely stopped for a break. Through the gates I rode up to the front door of the manor - an elf answered. \"Follow me, Master Snape.\" The little creature skipped before me, (I was surprised the Malfoy\'s hadn\'t beaten the life out of the elf yet). Slipping my traveling cloak off and handing it to the elf I entered the lounge where I came face to face with Lucius.

\"Ah, Severus - meet Ivan McKeller, investigator from the Ministry,\" A tall dark man came forward - his breath was ragged and his eyes narrowed as he looked upon me. Something was frightening about this menace. One look told me he was here once again to investigate the Malfoy manor for any signs of corruption. The sweat from Lucius\' temples looked as though he left a mess in his basement behind - the look was also pleading, pleading for me to help him. \"Severus, why don\'t you go and err, get comfortable downstairs.\" That was enough for me to understand what he had meant. I had to clean up the dirty work for him while he spoke with the investigator. I wasn\'t going to lend the helping hand - yet again. Inwardly I was glad - I wanted Lucius to be caught, that way Narcissa would be mine, all mine.

I went upstairs to the library - to my surprise the doors were wide open. I stood there in the doorway when my gaze fell upon her. Her hair was up in a delicate bun, and her porcelain white skin glowed in the candlelight as she sat in a low armchair reading. I watched her beauty for a few moments until she turned quickly around to face me. I swallowed hard as my gaze fell to her clothing. She was wearing nothing but a gentle nightgown with a white robe. Her corset did not confine her breasts and I could see the fullness of them through the thin material. Her beautiful blue eyes widened at the sight of me. \"Severus! What are you doing here?\" She asked below a whisper. I stared at her, unable to reply, I was completely immobile.

\"I could not stay away,\" I admitted finding my tongue. \"I could not just walk away from you.\" My voice was quivering a little - I began finding it hard to breath.

\"Why could you not stay away?\" She asked me, placing her book down on the desk beside her.

\"I have other things to say to you,\" I began to approach her. I noticed her breath quicken as I came closer, she was feeling uneasy, I could tell. Lust intoxicated the air around us - I had no doubt she could feel it too. She said nothing, she just sat in her armchair and watched me, and my eyes fixed on hers the entire time. I reached her finally and placed my hands on either side of the armchair\'s back. Her body was half facing mine as she sat. In her eyes I could see anticipation, burning hot lava beneath her icy surface. Tilting my head down, my lips mirrored with hers as I lightly brushed my lips against her own. I could now take in her perfume - the floral seductive scent that intoxicated me as a boy. One of my hands moved forward and found the front of her nightgown. Gently I slipped it a fraction down one of her shoulders, exposing more creamy white flesh. \"I have other things to do to you.\" I murmured against her soft lips. Her body quivered at my touch - my lips met hers again; harder this time, fully capturing her lips in my mouth. I tasted victory when she whimpered softly. I knew of course, that most of the victory belonged to her. Kissing her was like kissing fire. My lips burned ... burned with hot desire as the kiss intensified.

My hand slipped away from her lderlder - with an expert hand I pulled undone the robe, so it slid down her back and onto the armchair. She pulled away suddenly, falling onto the wooden floor - her lips were full and red as she breathed raggedly. Her chest heaved with every breath. I stood there watching her as I hardened. \"Oh gods Severus ... what have we done?\" She whispered. I strode over to the doors and closed them with a loud snap.

\"It is only a sin when other\'s find out.\" I said smoothly as I saw my reflection in the polished wood of the doors.

To Be Continued...
