My Rubi
Ok... chapter 5. I apologise if it`s not up to the same standard as the other chapters... have had a touch of writers block. I got so bloody carried away with this that I actually tried to put an OZZY CAMEO in it!!!! Not a good idea... so as a result it isn`t in the final version.
As for Severus in tight jeans and a leather jacket... mmmm *drools*! I did toy with giving him a studded collar like Rubia`s but decided not to!
Oh... by the way, if you were wondering who Rubia is based on... well, she`s me! Just a bit older that`s all! And yes, I actually do that to my nails! In fact right now I have little diamond studded charms hanging from them... it`s just one of the few things that make me somewhat unique (as if you can`t tell by my writing!)
anyways enjoy... cheers for the WONDERFUL REVIEWS... youre all great and I get all excited.. I come home every day and check to see if i have more!!!! (yep, we know... crazy!!)

Chapter 5 - My Rubi
It was just after lunch when Rubia had a brilliant idea... why not! Grabbing a piece of parchment, she hastily jotted a note to her brother, Nus, who somehow always managed to get hold of anything that Rubia needed. After summoning Layton, her tawny owl, she sent the note on its way. This was going to be fun.
At seven thirty that evening, Severus was sitting alone in his chambers, leafing through the new edition of Potions monthly, his attentions were elsewhere. He was thinking about Rubia and how, in little under half an hour, she would be coming to his chambers. His train of thought was interrupted by a sharp rap at the door. He scowled and crossed to the door.
\"Rubia!\" he said in surprise as he opened the door, \"You`re early!\"
\"Five points to Slytherin for being so observative, Snape! We`re going somewhere tonight and I don`t want to be late.\" she smiled, stepping into the light of his chambers from the shadows of the passageway, giving Severus his first glimpse of her outfit. He gasped.
\"Rubia... wow!\" he breathed, gesturing wildly at her clothing. She was dressed in a pair of skintight blue jeans, slashed at the knees, a thick, black leather belt studded with silver was slung low at her waist, her shirt was a tight black tee shirt with an Aerosmith logo and finishing her outfit was a black leather jacket. Her hair was fluffed up and her makeup was dark. At her throat, Severus could see a black leather studded choker and, of course, the necklace that he had given her that morning. her nails were black today, with the usual silver rings through them
\"Hmmm, no Sev, i`m sorry, but you can`t wear that to where we`re going.\" she said in a playful tone, pointing to his dark slacks and shirt.
\"What`s wrong with...\" she began, but stopped as Rubia took her wand from the pocket of her jeans.
\"Hold still.\" she muttered, before a wave of her wand transformed Severus` clothing. He strolled over to the mirror and almost laughed when he saw how she had dressed him, ripped blue jeans, a black tee shirt and a leather jacket similar to hers. He was relieved to see that she hadn`t given him a choker like hers, but rather he had studdeatheather bands around his wrists. His hair was pulled back into a ponytail again, but with odd bits hanging loose, making him look dashingly scruffy. He liked it.
\"I haven`t worn anything like this since I started working at Hogwarts!\" he chuckled.
\"You mean you used to dress like this a lot?\" she asked with one eyebrow raised, her expression dubious. He nodded, still laughing.
\"Severus Snape! You are full of surprises!!!\" she laughed. \"Ready?\"
\"So you`re not going to tell me where we`re going then?\" he muttered. Rubia giggled and shook her head. Severus rolled his eyes as he draped his arm around her waist.
The two of them made their way to the gates of Hogwarts, Rubia teasing and laughing all the way about the Hufflepuff fourth year who had seen them walking through the corridors and who, when she had seen Severus` outfit had muttered \"cool!\" before walking smack into a stone pillar. Even Severus had to see the funny side of it.
\"I think your reputation`s gone, Sev!\" she chuckled. \"Just imagine what she`ll have done... my guess is run straight back to her common room and told everyone that Professor Snape is actually a wild child in denial!\" She danced to one side to avoid the playful swipe that Severus had aimed at her, a wicked grin on her face.
Just outside the school gates she pulled Severus towards her. He wrapped his long arms around her and she disapparated. They clung to each other as they felt the ground reappear beneath their feet. Severus opened his eyes to find that they were in an alley just off a muggle street.
\"Where are we, Rubi?\" he asked, looking around.
\"Manchester.\" she muttered, checking her watch. \"Come on, we don`t want to be late.\" She grabbed Severus` hand and pulled him into the street. His eyes widened as he saw what stood in front of them.
\"This is where we`re going?\" he asked, gesturing at the building in front of them, bathed in light and surrounded by people.
\"Uh huh! Like it?\" she asked as she snuggled against him and pulled her jacket around her against the cold February wind.
\"Do I like it... OF COURSE I like it... you daft girl!\" Severus cried, pulling her close and kissing her, a big grin on his handsome face.
\"Ozzy Osbourne... Black Sabbath enough for you?\" she asked. He pulled her close and kissed her hard.
\"This is great!\" he muttered into her mouth. She laughed.
\"Come one then... lets get inside. Oh... and did I mention that we have backstage passes!\" she said as she walked towards the arena. Severus stood there for a second before yelling \"YOU`RE GREAT!\" and catching up with her.
It had been a long time since Severus had been to a decent rock concert. As he walked into the crowded arena, he glanced at the stage where the support act were playing. He and Rubia watched them for a while. They finished their set and the stage was cleared.
\"Come on\" she whispered, \"lets try and get a bit closer.\"
Before they knew it they were standing at the front of the crowd as Ozzy Osbourne himself made his appearance on the stage. Rubia had never seen Severus like this, nor imagined he could be this way... he was acting like he was seventeen again, jumping up and down with the crowd, thumping the air, even singing along with the older songs. She smiled... he never failed to surprise her!
Just before midnight they apparated back to Hogwarts. They had gone backstage but nothing much had been happening, just the stage being cleared. Ozzy was nowhere to be seen, but even Severus had been excited to just be there.
The two of them made their way back to Severus` dungeon lair. Severus closed the door and the pinned his delighted lover against it, kissing her passionately.
\"Thankyou for a truly amazing evening, Rubi,\" he kissed her again, \"My Rubi.\"
