Chapter 43
Voldemort looked at the two standing before him and knew he had to take control of the situation. “You can’t defeat me Potter. I am the most powerful wizard alive. I have defeated death. I am immortal.”
Harry and Ali laughed. “No Tom you were immortal.”
Ali added “As soon as Neville killed Nagini the last of your Horcrux was destroyed.”
Harry smirked reminding Voldemort of the elder Malfoy. “And besides Tom there is only one Master of Death and you are not it.”
Voldemort laughed. “The Master of Death is a myth Potter. The Deathly Hallows do not exist.”
Harry grinned evilly at Voldemort. “That’s what you think.”
He glanced over at Ali and she nodded. Together they held their hands out and cried “Accio Deathly Hallows!”
Voldemort laughed fully expecting nothing to happen. First off there were no Deathly Hallows and secondly they used no wands to call for them. His face showed surprise as three things came flying into the waiting hands of the powerful twins.
“How is that possible?” Voldemort asked.
Harry grinned “I am the true Master of Death. Your power is nothing compared to mine and Ali’s. We are the most powerful wizard and witch alive and Tom your time has come.”
Voldemort grew angry at this and yelled “I am Lord Voldemort! I am the most powerful! Everyone fears me. You are nothing Potter! Avada Kedavra!"
Ali and Harry saw the curse coming and held their hands out. A wall of ice and fire appeared in front of them. The curse rebounded off and hit Voldemort right in the chest. Ali and Harry dropped their hands and walked over to the fallen body of Tom Riddle. Harry kicked the lifeless body and satisfied that he was truly dead he held his hands out and fire engulfed Tom’s body. Seeing the fallen dark lord consumed into ash the DE’s held their hands up in surrender.
Harry grabbed Ali in a bone crushing hug and spun her around happily. “We did it Ice we did it!”
Ali giggled and threw her arms around Harry. “It’s over Ash we won!”
They spun around holding each other just happy for it to be done. The reign of terror that had been over the wizarding world for so long was finally done. Just as Harry stopped spinning Ali around a redhead whirlwind shoved her aside and latched onto Harry.
Ali landed on her bottom hard and glared at the intruder. Seeing her face darken Draco rushed over to his wife and helped her stand.
“Ali love are you ok?”
“Drac! We did it! We won!” She yelled throwing her arms around him.
“I know we did. Oh Merlin Ali I was so scared. I love you so much.”
“I love you too Drac.” Unmindful of where they were Ali pulled his face down to hers and kissed him.
As Ali and Draco were kissing Harry was trying very hard to pry Ginny Weasley off of him.
Neville looked on in horror as the girl that he had thought was his girlfriend kissed Harry.
Before Neville’s heart crashed to the ground around him Harry shoved Ginny away so hard she slid a few feet away from him saying, “Back off Ginny! I’m not in love with you and I’ll never be. Don’t ever touch me again!”
“But we’re meant to be!?!”
“No, we’re not! I was never yours. I never will be. So back off! I thought you were with Neville?”
“I…”
“Are you Ginny?” they heard from behind her.
Ginny turned around to see a hurt and angry Neville with steel in his eyes.
“Neville, I…”
“He doesn’t love you like I do Ginny. Why can’t you see that? Why do you cling to a school girl’s crush like a child? I could give you what you so want. To be worshipped like a queen, I love you that much. But if you can’t see that I will be fine moving on. Because I do want you but I don’t need you like you obviously need to be the center of everything, the girlfriend of the Hero. I may not be a Hero like Harry Ginny but I would and can be yours if you give me a chance, but obviously you won’t. I deserve better than being second fiddle so we’re done!”
With this said Neville turned away from a stunned stupid Ginny who had forgotten about her Harry. As Neville disappeared out of the Hall Ginny ran after him yelling for him to forgive her.
Many thought Harry would just stand there in his anger but instead he walked right to a kneeling Hermione and helped her up.
“Mione, Love…you okay?”
“Yes, it’s just…I never thought this day would come. It’s over Harry! It’s over!”
“Yes, it is. And we have a life to live now don’t we?” Harry said pulling her against him.
“Yeah we do,” she said smirking up at him. With this said the room got yet another shock when Harry kissed Hermione with such passion and love it was palatable.
After a bit of time both heard a throat clearing and broke apart enough to see a smiling Ali and Draco.
“Yes can we help you?”
“We were thinking we need to get away from these admirers before the chaos of celebration starts. Where should we go to get away?”
“Well, there’s only one place I can think of to get away.”
“Where, Harry?”
“The Astronomy Tower. I would go there a lot to think.”
“So, did I in fact. Okay let’s go.”
So, while many people were celebrating and still in shock the four slipped away and headed for the Astronomy Tower.
Once there the four just began to laugh uncontrollably from relief. After what seemed forever and their sides began to hurt they stopped to gulp in air.
Once the girls got enough air they went to a window and just looked out at the sky. The boys looked at one another and then at their silent wives.
“Is everything okay?”
“Yes, why do you ask Draco?”
“Because you both are so quiet. Are you sure nothing’s wrong?” Draco replied as he hugged Ali from behind.
“Yeah we’re sure love but things are going to change aren’t they?”
“Well yes of course we don’t have a monster after us anymore.”
“Well I know that, but I mean with us too.”
“Why would things between us change love?”
“Because we have a secret that may make you both very mad at us.”
“And what’s that my dear Mione?” Harry said coming up behind Hermione to hold her.
“Well,” the girls said together turning to their significant others at the same time.
