Chapter 48: Fleur and bill’s wdding

Werewolves attack: ceremony? Reception?

Bill steps in front to protect, gets injured.

[Fleur loses her shit.] And then she changed.  It wasn’t as if her skin parted and a new creature was born.  Instead it was as if she had always been this way.) 

Gabriella: my sister is born!  [A scream of joy and then she does the same thing.]

Fleur and Gabby’s brothers close ranks, wands to the ready, children in the middle.  Their wives join them.  One or two change as well and join the two sisters engaged in savage battle.

Fleur and Gabby’s mother… older, statuesque, fragile looking, grey/silver hair.  Bursts forth and Veela tear the wolves apart.  Fleur, picking out the eye of the wolves,

Ron: “What the fuck just happened?”

Harry:  “I think we can call this one a win for our side, yeah?”

F and G’s mother has worn herself out fighting, she is dying.  “Tell your sister, when she returns to herself, that it was right she went to her mate.  It is our way, in the beginning, before there is young to protect.  I cannot tell you what joy there is my heart, this day.  Two of my daughters are born!  Two!  Perhaps we will not fade away after all.  You have much to learn… speak to your brother [insert name, maybe an old name for a bard].  I told him things you must now know.  Oh my Daughter.”  Reaches out with one bird bone fragile hand to touch Gabby’s face.

Ron:  (repeating) What the fuck just happened?

Hermione:  F & G are full Veela now, Ron.

Ron: Yeah, I’m still gonna go with, what the fuck just happened?
